- No double announcements, ICO projects can only have one announcement in the sub. However, if you make changes to your project you can announce those updates. The best way to announce a project is AFTER you've engaged with the community for a while.
- No votes manipulation, please adhere to our policy of Vote cheating or vote manipulation.
- No altcoin (ETH, ETC, NEO, etc.) token announcements, if the service does not use Stellar network then it shouldn't be considered sustainable to be shared in the sub.
- No plagiarism.
- No content stealing from other users. This includes posts with stolen articles.
- No pump'n'dump announcements.
- No memes/image macro threads (can be shared in The Daily Stellar Chat Posts).
- No UPPERCASE (capital letters or caps) titles or text unless for acronyms.

- No disclosure of yours or someone else's holdings.
- No Public/Secret Keys sharing.
- No surveys collecting personally identifiable information (PII) mainly to build a relational database including variables such as Public Key with username/location/contact and more that can identify users.
- Always respect moderators, they are held to the same rules as the users and dedicate their personal time to ensuring /r/Stellar stays safe.
- Report abusive moderation to the modmail if needed, or if mods don't justify their actions to you.
- If you're banned from the sub you can still use it and contact modmail to justify your actions but you can not register another account to post or comment new content. Need help with viewing address on the go!
Hi,
I use trezor with a passphrase wallet to send and receive my xlm through stellar account viewer.
The issue is I need to sign in with my trezor everytime I need to interact with the interface.
Is there a way how I can view my xlm address to receive funds without using my trezor?

Newbie question
I acquired around 5,000 Stellar Lumens many years ago IIRC, just by signing up for newsletters etc.
About 4 years ago I was scammed out of most of them by a very sophisticated scam that again, IIRC used the Stellar website as an intermediary. Needless to say, I got no official help and despite trying a number of avenues, the currency was never returned.
I still have around 2,500 and for the longest time, they were worth next to nothing. That seems to be changing, for the moment anyway so I thought I’d resurrect my account and learn more albeit nervously after being scammed.
Apologies if these following are in an FAQ - please point me at it if that’s the case.
I seem to have Lumens now. I have a note that they were converted from Stellars some time ago. Do I have XLM or XRP or are they the same?
I was able to check my balance by (nervously) entering my public key on StellarChain.io and it seemed legit. Is there a better / official place at Stellar.org I should use instead?
I’d hate for the price to go dramatically up in a few years and then discover the secret key I have is invalid - how can I learn if my credentials are valid? (Sounds like an open invitation to be scammed again doesn’t it - please don’t).
Thanks in advance. Be gentle with me. I’ve lost so much this year - I could use some good news.

Lumen most marketable name for currency?
The only marketable names I can think of for an actual digital currency that gets used on a mass scale are Stellar lumens or bitcoin. "Just sent you the lumens." It just sounds right. All the others have weird acronyms or things that don't roll off the tongue for a digital currency.
Just a little meandering for amusement here. Are there any others that have this quality?

Nobody has a magic 8 ball, would this be a wise move right now? I see that it’s been moving sideways the past couple of days, it looks like it pulled back to .44 then it’s been steadily .49-.51. Do you think there will be another pullback?

Sponsored reserved on Stellar Blockchain
I recently noticed I was a sponsored reserve on Stellar. Can anyone explain to me if this is a benefit to me? The tokens are in a liquidity pool and from what I understand the activity and earnings generated by my coins are now controlled by the account I have sponsored. Do I receive any earnings from my investment? For now it just looks like I lost my initial investment.

Aqua’s place in stellar system
How many of you are savvy to the aqua token? I got in during the early release and kinda forgot about it. I know it “provides liquidity” but is this something the community sees being important to the ecosystem long term? I never see it talked about but I use LOBSTR wallet and it seems to be marketed there pretty heavily. I’m just curious how much the stellar community regards this liquidity token. Hi Stellar, part of my process lately has me researching my old wallets.
Are there ways to connect multiple wallets through a dex such as StellarX with some level of a "traditional bank" account feature to clearly label them like savings, retirement, possibly debit, etc?

Why I went all in on XLM & super stoked to be using it for my own gaming platform!
XLM has great potential and capabilities!
I had bought in and out of stellar for a long time until two weeks ago I after selling it off the 2nd time I bought in again at .13 or .14 and ended up saying screw it and liquidated everything to go all in averaging up to .35 lol
I usually trade ex dividend stocks during the week and crypto on weekends and holidays. I made my final decision to go all in because I’ve started working on building a gaming platform using XLM and Soroban smart contracts to create an innovative gaming ecosystem where assets have real-world value, and players can enjoy secure, skill-based, and interactive gameplay!
I’m in XLM all the way around!

The ISO standard managing Digital Token Identifiers (DTI) is ISO 24165.
So everyone believes iso20022 is old but ISO 24165. is not, iso20022 is evolving and getting closer to it's last phase of adoption with a 2025 deadline
