Apple Airtag in Steam Deck, my only enhancement since posting original post is to sand down the plastic top side of the Airtag a few millimeters to fit it a little looser, but its not necessary. Still works great!

UEFI updates for Windows users

So... I have started extracting the UEFI updates from published OS updates for the SteamDeck. If any of you are dumping SteamOS completely in favor of Windows, you can get the updates themselves and the Windows version of the flasher tool from HERE

You can check your current UEFI version in dxdiag.

To update, download and extract the archive in the Flasher folder (should be at the bottomTOP of the list), pick the .fd file corresponding to the version you want to flash, put it in the folder of the extracted flasher, then run H2OFFT-Wx64.exe.

Use at your own risk. I'm happy to help with problems as long as I can, but I'm in no way responsible if you choose to use this and somehow brick your Steam Deck in the process.

Update 2024-07-24:

Finished previously incomplete migration to a new server.

OLED firmware files are also available, see the OLED folder. These are UNTESTED*, as I don't own OLED.*
