Hey everyone!
I picked up way of the Samurai 3 or 4 during the current sale.
I played way of Samurai 3 on my desktop and when I switched to my steam deck, it says the steam cloud is up to date & the 2nd pic shows 1.05mb stored.
But when I launch the game on my steam deck it shows no save files in game, and I can only start a new game.
I have tried launching the game in different proton versions with no success.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!!
I’m looking to buy some games out of excitement before my beautiful deck gets here this week, I just got the Batman series for 10 bucks on sale on steam but I was wondering what are some must play games for the deck that I gotta buy?
I moved to new building and the WiFi is working with all my others devices but as soon as I’m connecting my steam deck with this WiFi it’s keep disconnecting! Anyone who can help me with this issue?
I'm currently playing Metaphor Refantazio at the moment on my PC. I'm looking for another game to play while in a bed for an hour or so a night. I have quite a few RPGs and JRPGs to choose from but not sure if playing two really long games at the same time is a good idea.
I am partial to games being more story driven like an RPG or a Last of Us type game. Thinking something less than 40 hours (I play primarily RPGs, so that's funnily pretty ahort)
Feel free to throw out some wild card options too!
Thanks for your time!
Hello everyone, I'd like to hear your thoughts and recommendations. I really enjoy cozy farming and crafting games. Starred Valley was fun to play, but I'm looking for a similar game with less social interactions with NPC's. Also Factorio was a blast, but I enjoyed it much more on PC with the Mouse and Keyboard controlls. The games I've got on my watchlist are Dinkum and My time at Portia (wich is currently on sale). Do you think these games fit my expectations or do you have any other recommendations? Thanks in advance! And have a great evening/day
Hi guys! Just ordered a SD and after lots of years with Switch I’m keen on the best games that aren’t on switch at al or really suck at switch. I’m kind of bad at rpgs and have Xbox and ps5 and into good sales on steam and into either the next sensational game or the easy one u just can’t put away :) . Do u have any ideas what to look for? :)) Sorry if it’s to vague of a question but just go for your own three favorites then? :))
Hey everyone, I was thinking of getting a OLED steam deck and was wondering If there is any Dinosaur games you can recommend. As of right now the only dino game I've played and enjoy are Jurassic world evolution 1 and 2. Sadly can't play Jurassic Park Operation Genesis however I am open to play whatever games that are dino related.
Also, how's is everyone doing today
Can I get recommendations for any games that have romance available but not at all relevant or mandatory to the plot line? Somewhat like how in Skyrim you can get married just because you want to but if you don’t then it literally doesn’t make a difference.
I’ll also appreciate recommendations based off my favorite steam games autonomous from my primary request lol
My fav steam games rn being: Baldur’s Gate 3, Hades, Stardew Valley, My Time at Sandrock, Civ series, Skyrim, Kingdom Two Crowns, Unpacking, and Moonlighter.
Hi everyone, so I' have a bit of a problem which I'm stuck with at the moment. I downloaded windows 10 on a micro SD to my steam deck so that I could play Black Ops 6. However, when I try to play the game none of the Steam Deck's buttons are responsive and as a result I can't bring up the keyboard to login to my account. This is only true for the game itself however when I am not in the game the buttons work fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated as I cant seem to find many other people with this issue or guides on how to actually get the game to successfully run.
Most of the time I play my steam deck will be when someone else is trying to sleep, hence looking for games I can enjoy when the sound is off or low. I'm going to try and go with Octopath, trials of Mana, Final Fantasy II, and the Castlevania GBA collection.
I was thinking about the Yakuza series but I won't be playing my steam deck daily and it would be harder to follow the story. Though cloud saves would allow me to play on PC.
Edit - For people saying use headphones - I have tinnitus. Using headphones and earbuds makes it worse.
This video is the second part of a compilation of over 50 performance tests I've conducted for the Steam Deck. Use the timestamps to find your favorite game.

TIMESTAMPS
I’m currently playing D4, but I’m now looking for a game with some story, and a game I can actually complete.
I don’t get much time, and I may have to put my SD down at a moment’s notice.
I don’t like fps or Third person shooters as I prefer mouse and keyboard for that.
Not a fan of rouge lites etc.
Preferably something with linear progression maybe with some side content.
Thoughts?
I got a steam deck a month or 2 ago and I don’t know what to do first, I have a PlayStation 5 and almost all of the games I’ve seen on Steam I’ve already beaten them so what should I do to make the steam deck usable? I heard you can play retro games such as PS2, N64, PS3 and Etc. but I’m not sure what emulator I should use… one person told me to use EmuDeck and another person told me use EmuParadise but if I use EmuParadise I have to hack (jailbreak) the steam deck and he also said when I hack the handheld console I can use apps such as Netflix, Disney+ and more entertainment apps also if I use EmuDeck what websites should I use to transfer games on EmuDeck but what games can you even play on Steam? Can you play RDR2, R6: Seige and can you play Ready or Not? Also what kind of accessories should I get for it? Like a wireless mouse and keyboard and Etc. I’m trying to use the SteamDeck when I’m on the road, or when I’m out of town or just home chilling because I’ve bought a PS Portal and all I can do with that is play on the internet mostly I’m trying to use the Steam Deck offline and Online, anyone can help me out and give me tips and suggestions and more?
Building a monster 🧟♀️
I came across this little game, it had a demo, absolutely zero issues playing on my deck, ported with an Xbox controller. It was bundled with another detective game for a few bucks.
Unsupported? Think again, plays just fine
When trying to run far cry 3, the gamepad on the deck and any controllers I connect are unresponsive with the game, the only buttons responding are the touchscreen and the steam and quick access buttons.
Is there a fix for this?
Just started dredge, can't believe how much I'm loving it!
Was skeptical at first due to the character interaction and cartoon dialogue, but wow, I was wrong!
Addicted.
That's all.
Played this game on the Steam Deck on both the dock and handheld mode. Though I notice something peculiar when I play this PC port
I don't know what it is, but the CPU usage for this game seems unusually high (I may be wrong). Even though it's a Neogeo game that doesn't really use a lot of data, I can hear the fans for the Deck being really loud to the point I almost think the Deck will explode.
If you not put resolution at 75, you play at less fps what translate in imput lag at charge strikes and persecutions, best config to me its resolution at 75 and filter at medium, like this 55- 50 fps and less imput lag... I dont know if .Ini edit at 40 fps limites will be better or not than this.
