Today on 2 October 2024 at approximately 0208 I arrived home. Got out of my car and went to the other side. I turn around and found a black cat walking by me in the rain. I called it not thinking it would work but it came. It looked all black have green/yellow eyes and a white patch near its abdomen male in gender. Very clean so i do not think it was out long. Also looks like it used to have a collar on.
Location: Near Hope Road adjacent to Route 1
Edit: The pet owner has been found and contacted.
I am an internal medicine physician starting private practice in the Woodbridge area.
It is a direct primary care practice. This is a new model of healthcare which brings patients closer to their doctors without the red tape of insurance companies and large corporations.

I'm not sure how to say this, but I live in Stafford, to be exact, near the Aquia neighborhood and the Stafford marketplace. I'm not sure if anyone else is also having this problem, but ever since Best Buy closed in March, I've had an impossible time finding employment, to the point where I feel like just giving up because I either get ghosted or denied. So, I'm just wondering, is anyone having this issue? Hopefully, someone else has this problem, at least.
I live on some land & cops always stop cars infront of my drive way since my driveway is basically the only spot to pull to the side at the moment. everytime we try coming in from the street, the cops always get angry & say they can stop there cause their cops but it’s still my property. are they right or what can i do about it.
Hi I have lived here for 5 years and not made one friend yet in the area. I'm early 40s, married female, no kids, work from home, introverted but not shy or quiet...what could I do or where can I go in Stafford to find some new local friends?
Yeahh so basically a random guy shot at me while i was inside my car, parked up in front of my apartment. Cops keep saying that I must've been tailed from NY, but I literally don't cause any kind of trouble like that😭. Didn't know the guy, cops can't find him. Been a week since the incident and I'm back in NY now lol. Worst part is that I was supposed to start my job the next day😂😂. So yeah I almost died and now I have a few weeks off from a job that I haven't officially started yet. Welcome to my life!
What is is like living there? I want to get the overall vibe from you all. I may be moving there for a job soon. I had originally thought we would move to Richmond, but it looks like Stafford may be a closer option.
I want to know everything you feel like sharing! Thanks
Hi r/stafford!
Anyone want to mod this community?
I moved out of Stafford many years ago now. So perhaps this sub is better in the hands of some active participants who still live local. Anyone interested?
I'd like to find a replacement or two for myself.
Sharing on behalf of a friend who lives in the area and knows this girl!
I was exploring this interesting site called the Virginia Public Access Project and what's cool about it is they show all the money politicians receive. I looked up one politician named Candi King who represents parts of Stafford and was shocked that all her money comes from the electricity company Dominion energy. Is this illegal in virginia or am I missing something? I don't understand how a politician can take so much money (actually all her money) from one corporation. Seems like a conflict imho
Been looking for a nearby plasma donation center that offers compensation but I really can't find any less than 50 miles away. Anyone happen to have recommendations or know places closer than that?
Hi! What are the best budget internet options in the Aquia area? Looks like Xfinity is an option. Any other options? It is for a one bedroom apartment with light internet use and streaming one tv.
Was a lot of fun. Sadly once it started raining and the fireworks were going off. Beetles swarmed everyone haha. My girlfriends sister was being chased by them and children were screaming at first we thought it was because of the fireworks, but I think it’s more likely the beetles reigned terror over them. Other than that very awesome.

I’m looking for apartments in the Fredericksburg and Stafford area but am having no luck with the internet finding decent places my budget is about 1,300 a month does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve got no credit but also no evictions on my record and make decent money. Preferably a 1 bed and bath location more than 500 square feet by the Stafford airport or close to it.
Hello,
I am a student at Old Dominion University conducting a research project about public transportation use in Northern Virginia. I have a survey linked below and I would really appreciate if you took just a few minutes out of your day to take it. Thank you!

I recently found out I'm pregnant and I'm looking to find a trainer that has experience with pregnant clients or classes for prenatal exercises in the Stafford area. I've found a few sites that offer virtual and online coaching which is fine but I'd prefer something in person.
Thanks!!
Hello all,
I am moving across the country for a job in Quantico. I am in the market for a home but as a single person my budget is around 375,000. I haven't had any luck locating a home. I'm not sure of what the commute will be, but if you were me, would you wait until finding a home in Stafford or buy something more south in Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area? Would the commute be absolutely terrible? Thank you.
