Hey all! I’m looking for a part time job, and if anyone knows of any hiring restaurants (emphasis on smaller and family owned) please send their name my way! I have extensive serving experience and beginner bartending experience! Bonus if I can average about 100+ per shift. Thank you all in advance!
Ps. I’m open on the location part, anywhere from wentzville to st. Charles is okay w me!
Found a drone near schnucks and lindenwood, shoot me a line if it's yours.
Are there any indoor courts in any of the St Charles City Parks facilities?
Hello! About 8 days ago, I submitted an application to become a foster for senior cats who have been at the shelter for a while. I also followed up with an email and a call but haven’t received any response yet. I recently adopted a special needs kitten from that same shelter, so I hope that qualifies me as a good candidate for fostering. Has anyone here had experience fostering through St. Charles County Adoption Center? If for any reason my application isn’t approved, would the shelter notify me?
Thank you so much!
My wife and I (44) are kidless tonight. Where would be a fun place to watch the game? All of our friends are booked, so maybe a good opportunity to meet new hockey friends.
Parked away from Election Authority and walked to the building.
Got in line at 10.20 (wraped around the building times and a half)
Got in the building at 11.15
Got out at 11.30
Good luck everyone out there!
UPDATE: We got through the line in 75 mins. The line moves quick so don't be too discouraged. Just bundle up!
The line is wrapped around the building 1 1/4 times but it is moving quickly.
Good luck!
Current traffic to reach the election authority Saturday morning at opening. While not excited about waiting in line, encouraged by the turnout this year.
Line to get in is now around the building out to the street somewhere and around a corner.
We got here at 740 and it's been a steady stream of people since then. It's now 805a
I was driving home from work tonight and I noticed that there was a heavy scent of smoke in the air. I figured it was a good night for backyard fires and such, but about the same time I noticed a ton of sirens seemingly all over the place. Knaust road area, anyone know anything?
...the current rules just make it official.
Before, you could absentee vote if you had a valid reason. However, it was unconstitutional for us election judges to try to check if your reason was valid. You could say that you would be out of town, and we wouldn't be allowed to check if you would be out of town during election day.
Because of this, we had de facto early voting. We just weren't allowed to say it out right.
The new rules simply remove this silliness and made how the rule actually worked into the actual rule. There's no point in asking for a valid reason to vote absentee if we can't deny it to you.
If people knew about this years ago, we'd have long lines prior to election day.
This was taken over a quarter of a mile away from the facility
Have been dying for the OFALLON location recipe! It would make my life complete! I want it for my birthday so bad! They had the raspberry puree and mango puree & the little salad on top! Someone had to of worked there who has an inside scoop! Thank you!!!!
i befriended a bunch of crows, ravens, and magpies in Wyoming this summer and am now looking for some corvid friends here! i already asked this question in STL's subreddit and got a TON of answers. now i'm hoping i can find some places closer to home <3
I'm trying to determine just how early I need to take off work to vote today. I live in Wentzville so I am planning on voting at the Element Church but I pass the Saint Charles County Election Authority on the way home so I could go to either depending on how busy they are.
Would people be willing to post updates for the lines at both locations for St. Charles Co with timestamps? I'm sure this will help multiple people.
St. Louis County offers live line counts. I can't find anything for our county. The Google live data option is not showing up for me.
Also, does anyone know why we only have two locations for early voting but other counties have multiple?
I turned 21 this year and I’d like to get out more, and what better weekend to do it than Halloween? If any of you all hear anything about bars doing events(preferably with costumes), I’d like to know where!
What’s going on tonightttt?? Any parties or fun bars?!?! Lmkkk
Struggling to figure out if they're going to be open tomorrow. I'd like to be there right at 830 and get defending democracy out of the way.
I took the day off and can go at anytime during the day. I know it's going to be super busy this year regardless, but what's everyone's guess on the best time to go?
There is that article that says that early voting has been paused. That is not true. You can still go vote early.
As injunction seeks to pause early voting in St. Charles County, polls will remain open, for now https://www.firstalert4.com/2024/10/31/injunction-seeks-pause-early-voting-st-charles-county-polls-will-be-open-now/
TLDR: There is a lawsuit that paused early voting, sounds like at least until Friday
Edit: Looks like they will be open after all https://www.reddit.com/r/StCharlesMO/s/DFvOwU1xtU
