I live in a predominantly very old and traditional neighborhood in st catharines, and I've noticed some people are just not nice at all. I know there will be some people who just cant get along with, but most my neighbors are just rude e.g. yelling across the street to shut up which I thought it was excessively rude. Spoke with some other people who are not Canadian born have faced similar situations. Any advice?
has anyone used the amazon locker at Staples, Geneva Street. do you just need bluetooth and location or also data/internet on your phone ?
thanks
Went there the other day and there was a sign saying "due to unforseen circumstances" the store will be closed until further notice. Half of the store was being put in garbage bags and loaded onto a truck. Just curious if anyone knew why.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been working in fast food chains in the region for over three years, and I’m glad this issue is finally being exposed on a national level. Tipped off: Exposing where your tips really go | CBC News
Did you know that in many places where you tip, those tips often don’t go to the employees? Instead, they end up in the pockets of the owners.
I wanted to bring this up because it’s a harsh reality that many workers face, especially in the fast food and service industries. It’s frustrating to see customers tipping, thinking they’re supporting the hardworking staff, only for that money to line the pockets of the owners instead. Employees are often forbidden from speaking up about this. Many fear losing their jobs if they try to expose this unfair practice.
Let’s discuss and spread awareness on it.
Hello, My mother in law is looking to move from her bungalow to a seniors residence. But it seems like all the independent living retirement homes have kitchenettes and not full kitchens. My MIL likes to bake, sometimes makes kombucha and other stuff and would like a full size kitchen. On the other hand, she would appreciate being able to have meals provided when she wants, as well as other services like cleaning, social activities, etc.
I feel like she’s looking for a unicorn. As any place that provides meals seems to be full service only (3 meals) and therefore the units don’t have kitchens.
Is there somewhere in at Catherine’s that has both? If not, is there a nice seniors rental building that has no meals but may have some other amenities a regular rental wouldn’t?
Thanks
I used to see soup bones in supermarkets all the time. I like them use them as a treat for my dog. Does anyone know a place where they sell them fairly regularly?

A representative from Legal Aid told court “there might be some impairment going on” and said she would contact the woman’s lawyer to advise her about her next appearance. No one appeared in court on behalf of Toronto lawyer Sherif Foda, who has been appearing on the woman’s behalf relating to a murder charge in Toronto.Assistant Crown attorney Suzanne Johnson said the Crown’s office is in the process of reviewing information recently provided by Niagara Regional Police and requested the matter be adjourned.Kauldhar is to return to court in Niagara on Monday. She is charged with first-degree murder in a Toronto homicide and second-degree murder in connection with homicides in Niagara Falls and Hamilton. She appeared in a Toronto courtroom on Wednesday. At that hearing, the judge expressed frustration over the fact a Crown attorney had yet to be assigned to the “complicated” matter, and asked that a mental health assessment scheduled for next month not take place until the designation is made.
