I started and finished the show today and all I can say is why not more seasons? This was the best show I've watched in a while and didn't hear about it until i discovered it from a Facebook video. Sad to see it go but I'm happy I got to watch.
Instead of covid, is there another national crisis in modern time you would like to see as the background plot for this show?
I just discovered the show and binged it in no time flat. What a shame there won't be more to the story.
So here's my question: While it's clear that Gloria continued her life of scamming, I confused about the painting that she fenced. Did she remove an original from the wall and replace it with a fake, or was it the other way around?
It’s always parked about a block from my house
How has it taken me this long to discover this show? I LOVE My Name is Earl and Raising Hope! Like they're my favorite shows on tv. How did this slip past me?
I was really enjoying the first episode then all the sudden there's a narrator on episode 2. I honestly couldn't stand him and lo and behold, he's doing episode 3. IS this a thing that continues for the rest of the season?
Thanks Greg Garcia
Where are the human fans at on this sub??
I found this show last week and just finished episode 6. Taking it as slow as I can to savor it because this is absolute TV gold. Every character is so well played. I’m shocked at how quiet this sub is when the show is so great.
Also, is Barb hiding some thing on the right side of her neck? All the shots all seem to protect that area and she wears a scarf a lot
What is the book Jack reads in prison that teaches how to influence or manipulate people? I’ve searched all the sites I could think of. And rather than go back and try and figure out which episode it’s in, I came here. Somebody help! Thanks.
I remember Rooster saying “I love you, Wiggles R_____,” but can’t remember the rest of the name to save my life! Anyone else remember it? Thank you!
The subject line, thanks
The way it ended was great. Can stand alone as one season one and done. Or can easily be added on to with additional seasons. Hopefully.
As the title suggests, the recaps in the sprung episodes all take place in My Name is Earl & Raising Hope Locations, here's the ones I know, help me fill in the gaps, I'm pretty sure all the ones I'm missing are from raising hope, Namely Episode 3, 4 and 5.
E1: N/A (No Recap)
E2: The Trailer - My Name is Earl
E3: Corner of Some Room? - Unknown
E4: Kitchen Counter? - Unknown
E5: Outside - Unknown
E6: The Motel - My Name is Earl
E7: Living Room - Raising Hope
E8: Crab Shack - My Name is Earl
E9: Gas Station - My Name is Earl
Okay so I think I’m missing something because in episode two when talking about the next job Barb mentions how Jack only wants to rob bad people but I don’t remember him wanting to do that in episode two. Did I miss something?
I started watching the season again, because why not? Anyway, in the first episode, after they rob Melvin and get all that cash, why don't Jack and Gloria get some new clothes so they don't have to wear Barb's parents' awful 70s stuff? 😆 I guess that's one of the subtle touches in the show, that they just keep wearing the leftovers from the box like it's no big deal.
EDIT: I had forgotten that Barb told them about stores being closed, so that's why they had to wear the 70s stuff. Still funny either way.
I worked on Sprung throughout its production, and at the beginning of the show, the accounting department was a complete dumpster fire and nobody was getting paid. While the mess was getting sorted out, Greg Garcia offered payday loans out of his own pocket for anyone who needed some cash to get through. I thought that was really cool, since most directors out there probably wouldn't be very concerned.
Just wanted to share that, and also before anyone asks, I have no reliable information on whether or not a season 2 is planned, lol.
I put together a quick playlist of the songs featured in Sprung. I hope everyone enjoys and please comment if any songs are missing.
Recently found this show and it’s such a delight. Like watching your silly friends getting into ridiculous hijinks but also feeling some warm fuzzies. Felt this way about The Outlaws too but this feels even lighter and more absurd, such a fun show to escape into.
I really hope there's a season 2 coming.

First off, my wife and I both enjoy this show. We saw the commercials for it while watching Leverage and gave it a go based on mutual affection for Raising Hope (and, on my end, Earl). It was obvious there was an age discrepancy between Dillahunt and Barrera (who I almost called Junkchain. RIP to that show). OK, fine, it's TV. But when he mentioned in a recent episode they were only 12 years apart, I had to cry foul and actually go look it up.
Folks, that literally wasn't even half right. It's a 26-year gap. I know Garret Dillahunt is a mutant who ages at half the normal rate, and who can easily pass for late 40s. Problem is, late 40s still wouldn't put him within 12 years of his proposed romantic interest.
It's no dealbreaker or anything, but I just had to say something. Even in a show this farcical, they're really straining disbelief with that fuzzy math.
Also, we went to Camden County and didn't get any cameos? Bad form.
i don’t think you can say that about many people. really love the raising hope mixed with my name is earl thing they have going on. the full family dynamic and a stand out dude just trying to do “better” even if his morality gets somewhat askewed, he’s doing it for the right reasons ala ‘Dexter.’ (much less psychotic of course) can’t believe this is free on Freevee tbh. but i feel like it will go unnoticed and end prematurely because of it. hopefully Amazon realizes what they have and promotes it a bunch. i saw an ad for it while watching Corner Gas and knew i had to switch over instantly. glad i did.
