So I know this is a stretch but I figure it can't hurt to ask:
I worked for Sprint a million years ago, I fell and shattered my arm in multiple places, the shirt I was wearing at the time happened to be a Sprint shirt and I recently lost it moving across country.
The reason it's important is because it was so painful to take my sling off to get in the shower, I would just sponge bath with my good arm for 3 months, but the back of that Sprint shirt always said #gettingbettereveryday (which we clearly were not), but it was a fun little part of my life and I would like to have that shirt back if anybody is willing to part with one, I'll take anything from medium to extra large and give you whatever you think is fair, and I'll pay shipping of course.
I just got such a kick out of random strangers on the street or in the grocery store stopping me and being like, "Gettin better everyday buddy!"
Just a bit bored and I want to see what people did in the past with Sprint and how it worked for y’all, and how did things go after the merger. If you want me to tell me mine just ask and I’ll add it to the comments!
I know this is a weird question (especially for Sprint but I didn't know where to put this haha) but the original LTE if i'm correct was a 3G thing, so does that mean when they say 4G LTE do they mean 3G?????
Now that Sprint doesn't exist anymore, Paul Marcarelli is back at Verizon. https://www.lightreading.com/satellite/verizon-s-can-you-hear-me-now-guy-returns-for-satellites
So TMobile will sell you a phone tell you it's available to go on your sprint advantage until you try to activate it so far 7 hrs trying and over 50 pings against my credit card
This was a pleasant surprise after last week getting a message saying they were prioritizing “newer” phones. For anyone wondering it’s on Sprints Unlimited v4 Premium and the phone was purchased in full at Apple.
Title mostly explains it, I am trying to use a Sprint Locked Samsung A11, and its apparently running Verizon software.
I found this in my drawer today and it was unactivated still that's what I found cool about this
Does anyone have a SWAC Line & Kickstarter line on their account?
T Force tried adding it and getting an error:
Conflicting SOCs for features and that these feature/ add-ons must be removed before adding this plan.
Anyone have the SOC for this? Had the line a while back.
This pops up when I try to upgrade. Does it mean my SWAC plan qualifies for at least $300 discount with trade in or am I wasting my time ?
Included hotspot, Hulu plus (no commercials) and there wasn’t any of that data limiting. If you use too much we slow you down… it was UNLIMITED. It included $5 credit off each line autopay discount, music unlimited, I’m pretty sure I have the contract.NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE $60x3 for some charge and there are no plans even close to this one. They have been overcharging for months and I can’t figure out where they get their numbers. As I understand it, they cannot force you into a new contract. Am I misled? Has anyone fought with them and won? I noticed a class action law suit against them and they definitely owe me a ton of money.
I bought a phone outright more than 10 years ago that turns out it seems to be locked to Sprint, I'd like to make it not locked to sprint and use it again as one of my medical devices. I don't recall why it was locked to begin with as I do remember buying it in a Walmart in Van Nuys, Calif with cash and NO payment plan, but maybe I got a special price or something. I pulled out the Sprint sim card thinking that's what it's locked to but now get a message that says it "may" be carrier locked.
Anyway to remedy this so it's not locked so I can add a sim card from my current carrier or if it will take a e-sim card so it's on my carrier and I can use it for my diabetes medical?
Thanks

T-Mobile's acquisition of Sprint did indeed bring significant enhancements to their 5G network, especially with Sprint's mid-band spectrum (n41). I’m curious on what Sprint’s n41 was like.
How many MHz of n41 did Sprint use?
What were the CA combos for their 5G?
How was the range on their 5G? Was it dense and reliable?
If Sprint somehow lived to this year, how do you think their 5G network would compare to AT&T & Verizon? T-Mobile wouldn’t have the n41 spectrum to be as good.
Was it possible for Sprint to activate n41 on all of their 8T8R sites, instead of upgrading each site with Massive MIMO?
I probably already know the answer to this but thought I’d ask anyway.
Looking for a method on galaxy s10
Seems like they don't do this often, but the older Sprint plans seem to be eligible for the Pixel 9 promos by either trading in a phone or setting up a new line, not sure how many former Sprint users still hang out here, but seems pretty newsworthy because pretty much every other promo requires a newer plan...
Edit:
Promotion details from the base Pixel 9, for those who are curious (available here: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone/google-pixel-9):

Edit 2:
This seems to work for me, and the $35 DCC fee is waived now, pretty much a no brainer for anyone on an older plan, and I kinda doubt we'll see another promo that the older plans qualify for in to next while...
I got these back when I was getting a galaxy S7 in 2016
What is the Tmobile counterpart to swac that gets the same deals. I cannot remember because I didn’t think I would ever upgrade
I forget which Tmobile plan has the same deals as advantage plan, thinking of upgrading from a 12 to a 16, battery life has been absolutely terrible and it’s like $100-$150+ to get replaced. Any information or ideas are welcome. I don’t think I qualify for any of these.
Is there any way to add a second line to the Advantage Unlimited account? I logged into then website but when I go to manage my plan and my only option is to switch to a new plan.
When with Sprint, I had the "iPhone Forever" feature code added to my SWAC lines (2x) in connection with iPhone 13 Pro purchase. By the time I came over to TMobile, I had started using Google Pixel phones, so I did not pay much attention to whether that "iPhone Forever" feature code came over, and how it came over.
Now that I am interested in going back to iPhone 16, I looked at the history of my account features, and I saw that each of my 2x lines had the "T-Mobile iPhone Upgrade Program" feature code added to it. But, I read elsewhere on this subreddit that Sprint's "iPhone Forever" feature code came over as a T-Mobile "Yearly Upgrade" feature code.
So, a couple of questions:
What is the TMobile equivalent of Sprint's "iPhone Forever" feature code: "T-Mobile iPhone Upgrade Program" feature code, "Yearly Upgrade" feature code, or something else?
What is included in the "T-Mobile iPhone Upgrade Program" feature code? And, is the "T-Mobile iPhone Upgrade Program" feature code better value than the "Yearly Upgrade" feature code?
Thanks in advance for any insight!
Why do I have to pay this it’s with a collection agency from when u was a teenager and they don’t even exist anymore I’m with t mobile I’ve been a loyal customer
Former Sprint SWAC here. I currently have 2x lines of SWACPMCM (Magenta Complete Code for former Sprint SWAC Advantage Premium plan). I am interested in a free 3rd line without plan change.
I tried to get the free 3rd line under the 2023BYODP1 promo at end of Jun 2023, and after back and forth over 3 months with Executive Escalations, they could not get the promo discount to stick, so I ended that effort in Sep 2023.
I read in a recent post (see recent SERO to SWAC Conversion thread, found here ) that getting a free 3rd line was still possible to do. Is free 3rd line still possible/available? And, if so, given the upcoming Mar/Apr 2025 deadline to add new SWACPMCM lines, how would I go about doing this?
Though not my preferred approach, I am open to cancelling my second line, waiting 90 days, and then doing a BOGO (if that is an available option).
Thanks in advance for any information/guidance.
Edit 1: Added link to cited "recent post"
I remember reading something, not sure if in here or r/tmobile, that there is a cut off date when tmobile won't allow any new lines to be created on the old sprint plans. Does anyone remember when that date is supposed to be?
