Of all things to argue, why do sovcits argue against jurisdiction like hornets on a Coke can?

Ironicaly, sovcits recite Supreme Court rulings in an effort to defend themselves, yet they also claim that the court they're in has no jurisdiction over them. Would a sovcit tell a Supreme Court judge that he/she has no jurisdiction?

Specifically, giving local police agencies the authority to enforce immigration laws and send illegals to immigration camps. How would this exchange go?

• OK. Let me see your passport. Where is the VISA?

Curious if there are cases of people who weren’t brought up in wealthy western countries trying the sovereign idiot thing

I got a video of a sovereign citizen getting pulled over and he repeatedly said 'i accept your oath and bond and bind you to it' even in places of the interaction that didn't make sense (he was speaking normally other than this) I was wondering if i could get clarification for what it means or like the reasoning for him repeating it many times and if this is a common thing in the sovereign citizen community? Note: the officer was calm and thanked him every time he said it so it wasn't being said repeatedly because it was being ignored

I've recently become fascinated with the whole SovCit movement (not in a positive or supportive way but as a source of entertainment). I am wondering what y'all's favorite "special magical words", incantations, and outdated or superseded case laws that they've used that you've seen on YouTube, online or in person?

Some of mine are:

• "I do not consent to a search!" when there is completely obvious probable cause for a search.
• "I do not consent to arrest!" (Wish I would have thought of that one when I got in trouble!)
• "I am not driving, I am traveling!" - Never heard this before finding out about SovCits.
• "I am being kidnapped by officers of an illegitimate corporation!" - One of my all-time favorites.
• "I am not engaging in commerce!" - Even elementary school students see through this one!
• "I am not resisting arrest and you are violating my rights!" - Wait, you have rights now? The rights afforded and protected under the same laws that you're refuting?!

And I'm sure there are many, many more that those more experienced than I have heard; please drop them here!
Also, please send any and all YouTube channels or episodes, podcasts, or other sources for more SovCit entertainment. They make me feel so much better about some of the poor choices I have made in my life!

Honestly curious

I found this guy again! He's the one who the court examiner determined was incompetent, so the judge had no choice but to dismiss the case. But he would not stand for it!

Now, he was more delusional than even the typical SovCit - I tried my SovCit decoder ring and I still didn't get it - not that he was stupid or uncomprehending, it's that he was convinced beyond any doubt that his case had to be appealed to the SCOTUS, because only the Chief Justice could lift the seal on the "evidence" that will prove he's a hereditary king of America... or something. National security secrets yadda yadda...

He could have said, "whoopie, I won!" and danced out of the jail. But NOOoooo... He was offended that he was called incompetent, so he wanted to appeal - a case he got dismissed.

He took out a couple of large loans from the Small Business Association, but he's a deadbeat as well as a grifter and instead of repaying the money he filled a pseudolegal lawsuit.

Predictably, his motion to remand is denied, because he sued a federal agency in state court. The defendant's motion to dismiss is granted, because, well, in the words of the court:

"To put it bluntly, Plaintiff's Complaint is unintelligible."

People who call themselves "sovereign citizens" do so while claiming not to be US Citizens. If they cannot produce a green card or other document stating that they are legally residing within the United States, can they be deported (either to another country or to a vessel on international waters)?

All these "license plates" I see here make me wonder how long do they drive around with them. Do the cops just leave there crazy uncle alone?

Is becoming a Sovereign Citizen caused by nature or nurture?

Why aren't there any reformed is Sovereign Citizen videos?
Wouldn't there be a similar percentage to religious people becoming atheists? ... 5%?

How can these be this number of sovcits when there appears to be no publicised channels of communication or information? I am curious to experience the absurd world these people live in but I can barely find anything. No books (other than one very expensive book on Amazon) not social media, no particular websites, etc. Can anyone point me to anything?

My mom and her bf are major crunchy health conspiracy theorists. They are both anti-vax and anti-sunscreen. They both buy raw milk which I try to avoid (I’m a senior in high school so thank god I’m leaving soon). They literally think the world is going to end in a few years. The bf has said things to my mom like “(me) thinks she is going to college” becasue he thinks the world is ending in 2025 and I guess I need to live on a farm with them or something 😭 long story.

Anyways, two-ish years ago the bf was explaining to me sovereign citizen rhetoric for like 30 minutes and at the time I didn't know what a sovcit was. He was telling me about how the US is a corporation and the Roman Empire never went away because of the Roman inspired architecture of federal buildings. So like a group of elites just exist somehow controlling everything since the Roman Empire and nobody knows about them except a group of randos. I just nodded along because at that time I wanted to give my mom the benefit of the doubt but I was starting to discover the truth on my own and what he was telling me sounded ridiculous.

A few months ago we took my dog to the park and our neighbor who is a retired police officer was there. He was talking to the bf and somehow the conversation got to the point where the bf was explaining the typical sovcit crap to him. Like if you get pulled over you say you’re traveling type of stuff. I was so embarrassed that he was mansplaining the law to an ex-police officer who was trying to explain to him how everything actually worked. I was sitting with my mom who said that she knew that her bf was right but was also embarrassed that he was just going on and on. I kept asking to leave and he finally stopped yapping. It was awful 😭.

I know that he doesn't pay taxes and opted out of "being a US citizen" or whatever sovcits do to try and stop paying taxes. I'm kind of worried because if he gets into any legal trouble my mom will probably be the one finically supporting him because he doesn't have much money. It sucks because there is literally nothing I can do to try and convince either of them of anything.

I suppose only a SovCit, or maybe a cop, could reasonably answer that.

The Sovcit Qanon fake "Kween of Kanada", Romana Didulo, is holed up in an abandoned elementary school in rural Richmound, Saskatchewan, Canada.
