Hello Anyo Aseio 😅
I'd like to do a relaxed bicycle tour next year from Seoul to Busan on my bicycle. My questions:
Do you think 2 weeks is a good time to explore Seoul for like 3 days and Busan like 3 days and spend around 8 days on the bicycle?
Is middle of April already somewhat warm or should I wait until late May?
Thx for your tips :)

I am 18 years old (born 2006) and will spend a few days in Korea in December, Since the drinking age is 19 but I am confused on the international age and age of Korea. Will I be allowed to drink?? I have been to Seoul before for an overnight layover when I was 17 and ordered a beer at a restaurant but they never ID'd me.
Hey guys I'm training boxing on my knees because I can't walk I would like to know of any red flags if I were to go to South Korea to go to a boxing gym for 3 months coming from the US
My original goal was to go to Thailand but there's too many barriers and I'm thinking that Korea would be more accommodating
Hello guys,
I'm heading to Korea in November and wanted to watch a concert while I'm there. The event I intended to attend is sold out, but I saw that there were some available on ticketbay (the Korean site), but when I go to buy them, I need a Korean address. I was wondering if I could buy them with a foreign card. 2. If I could use my friend's address (she resides in Korea) but doesn't have a Korean bank account.
So what advise do you guys have??
HI, Im from Singapore and my Korean friend is flying back to his hometown next week.
Im looking for this particular SK brand of Beef and Pork Bone Broth Concentrate because it is in sachet form, similar to an instant coffee. It should be convenient for me to drink this bone broth soup while fasting during working hours in the office.
Pls help me find some local online shop/website where I can make a purchase online with delivery service to my friend's home in South Korea. If the website is in korean language, I will try to use auto-translator manually during ordering, but it would be better if the site has an English webpage option. I'm planning to purchase several boxes for him to bring back to Singapore.

I found this seller in Gmarket for reference (I think it is the global version of gmarket) but I prefer direct ones instead of an E-commerce portal due to registration hoops:

Hi everyone,
My boyfriend and I will be moving to South Korea next year on a working holiday visa. We plan to stay for 2 years or so - hopefully longer. We've been looking into moving to Busan, however I'm curious if there are any other beach side cities you would recommend looking into before we get an apartment and settle down. We do not speak fluent Korean, therefore somewhere that also has opportunities for English speaking jobs would be ideal.
Thanks for your help! :)
Hello , I'm in Korea about 40days and I use T-money card for transportation, I'm going to stay longer maybe 2 years! if there is any card wish cost less than T-money, I don't open any bank account here I use my visa card . Is there anyone who can help us with this matter? Thank you.
I look for traditional and meaningful gifts, handmade and that symbolize Korean culture. No typical gifts for tourists. Where to find it in Seoul?
Hello all.
I made a custom feed collection of Reddit forums of Korean universities that I wanted to share with you all. Here is the link: https://www.reddit.com/user/le-mard-e-ahan/m/korean_universities/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Here are the universities in this feed:
If there is a forum missing, please mention it in the comments.
I hope that this info helps many of you.
Hello, I arrived yesterday in South Korea and found out my trusted companion Google maps is not working here. I've tried a other app called "Naver Map" but when I past addresses from Google maps into this app it doesn't find the location. Any advice for a alternative?
Many thanks!
Hello friends I am trying to reserve a mountain hut in Seoraksan for this Sunday 10/6 but in order to finalize my account with the Korean National Park service I need to one-time authenticate with a Korean phone number. As a foreigner I do not have one. I am looking for someone who might be interested in helping with this. I will repay the favor. Thank you very much in advance .
Mods I apologize if this is against the rules I am just in a bind and trying to figure this out.
Edit: I figured it out and got the reservation. There does exist a website for foreigners that doesn’t work on mobile (I just did desktop view on safari app on my phone though). The website requires account creation that doesn’t need a Korean phone number. The website is also very buggy but in the end it did work. I received no confirmation message after reserving the spot but you can go look at your account and current reservations and it will be there to give you piece of mind. Thanks to everyone who reached out to help. Y’all are the best
It's my first time ever leaving the country (USA), I figured I'd at least ask the internet for any tips or advice for my being there. Any restaurants, stores, or activities you guys recommend? Is there anything I should know? Any advice is welcomed
We are living in Korea. My Korean wife and I have recently updated our insurance, and the agent sold her on this Mirae Asset child policy. Our child is 14 and is Korean/US dual-citizen living in Korea, attending Korean public schools. I'm of the opinion that a child policy either shouldn't cost this much, or may not even be necessary. My wife said, "No, this is an adult policy that is allowed to continue at the lower rate after she is 20 -- otherwise, she would have to pay much more later per month, as an adult." The cancer part of the policy pays out 50,000,000 if she got cancer.
Isn't this all quite excessive, or is it common for Koreans to pay 100,000 per month of insurance for their child in addition to the national healthcare? I told her I think it sounds like a tricky way for the insurance agent to make more of a sale. Do kids need this in Korea?
I want to know what other Koreans do, and what they think. The policy is actually 2 -- one costs 30,000 per month and covers costs of things like meds that are above what national healthcare pays. The second policy is 70,000 per month and is full coverage including cancer coverage, etc. My wife was sold on the idea becuase buying it now means it will be cheaper for her to continue this than start a new policy once she reaches 20.
Hi
Me and my wife (Indian-Delhi), we couldn't go on our honeymoon after we got married this year. So we are planning to head for coldplay's concert in South Korea that's also held on our 1st wedding anniversary (22nd April'24 ^^'). My wife loves Korea, so I am planning this surprise.
I have booked the tickets to the concert, will shortly look at visa applications and cost associated with it. But can you suggest us what's the best way to book flight tickets? I want to plan it on a budget.
Also what's the cheapest stay option near to Goyang stadium.
Hello, I am from Australia and I will be travelling to South Korea soon. I would like to explore Gangwon do after Busan (Seoul to Jeju Island to Busan to Gangwon do - anywhere else I must visit?)
I am just wondering if a car is needed to explore Gangwon do? What's the best way to get there from Busan? And where should I look for accommodation in Gangwon do? What little town areas would be best to stay in?
All advice and recommendations are appreciated
Would moving to Korea be possible if I'm a Heavy Duty diesel mechanic? Or is migrating for jobs only a white collar type of thing?
Hello everyone!
I'm looking to buy a crane from Korea.
Is there any marketplace that sells cranes in or around Seoul or Busan? Please point me in their direction.
The marketplace's name or location would be greatly appreciated.
I'm a 20yr old latvian who's been living in Ireland for 15 years. My English is fluent and was wondering what would it be like to live there as a foreigner. Thought this might be the best place to ask. Where would I be able to search for work too? I'm slowly starting to learn Korean although it isn't good but I'll be putting in a lot more effort into it.
