I’ve been planning on taking a vacation in Florida and doing some sea fishing preferably for big fish like marlin, groupers and tarpon. I done some searching and and looked through a few charter boat sites and the typical prices all started from around 450$. Is this normal or am I looking at the high end of things?

I'll be staying in Pompano Beach for the next few months and wanted to surf fish. Any and all advice appreciated. From what I've read it looks like a fish finder rig with cut shrimp is the way to go.
Thoughts?
Thanks!!

Hey guys 👋 I'm vacationing to Ft. Lauderdale next week and I'm wondering what my chances of catching a peacock are around that area. I'm well versed in bass fishing with a little over 20 years experience, so not looking for techniques or bait advice, just a starting point for a location. Thanks!
