Elfman and Burton worked on those films during a certain period of time. You can tell they were on the same wavelength with dark, gothic ideas. Sonically, listening through the scores, it feels like Elfman kind of on a journey of sorts.
Hello I have been searching for this version, literally since 1998.
The movie credits 6 versions of "Bésame Mucho" and none of them are this version. It is unlisted, not included in the soundtrack nor the score albums.
The version I am referring to is the one that plays when Ms. Dinsmoor first meets Finnegan Bell. The automatic record player changes the vinyl and Ms. Dinsmoor starts dancing while saying "Chicka Boom, Chicka Boom". It is in English and sung by a male vocal. While the underlining instruments resemble rock style, the vocal leaning towards punk. Especially shouting in punk rock / metal style while singing "whoever thought I'd be holding you close to me, whispering it's you I adore"... The song also finishes with the vocal shouting "Chica Boom".
I asked multiple AI models to help me find it but none could help... The closest I got is the version from "The Ventures" but it is instrumental and does not include any vocals.
If anybody knows what I am referring to, please help me find this.
As I was listening through The Dark Knight trilogy soundtracks, I thought about how nice it would have been to get more Hans Zimmer Batman scores. It then occurred to me that he literally scored Batman v Superman! Zimmer scored both Bale’s Batman and Affleck’s Batman themes.
Any other instances like this?
I watched yesterday "Kek Pelikan" (Blue Pelikan) and I'm super excited with songs in it's soundtrack but can't find anywhere any list, just one song by Pa-Do-Do which for sure was there. Other songs sounded like original 90', so maybe someone can recognise any.

I am about to start a tabletop rpg campaign with my friends, what does it relate to this subreddit, you ask?? Well… I want to prepare a soundtrack for it, but am at a loss with where to find songs that fit the vibe. It’s pretty much an action “kill monsters” kind of thing with mystery investigations and a lot of horror, the campaign itself takes place in the 1970’s. Any recommendations? Could be from games, movies, series, whatever it is!
I remeberd a old show me and my sister used to watch as kids and its really bad BUT it has a FUCKING FIRE OST so i was wondering if someone could find the ost for me? the show is called mutant busters https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6631632/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_2_nm_0_in_0_q_mutant%2520buster
This is going to sound weird, but "Rats!" from "Chicken Run" always gave me off-kilter vibes.
I’m curious how documented any use of the Dies Irae is within video game music. I can only think of two examples:
Shadow of the Colossus (used in “Messenger from Behind” and “End Credits”)
Rainbow Six Siege (Doctor’s Curse Halloween event uses it all over the music, especially in prep phases)
I imagine there’s more even from music I’m familiar with.
