Pretty much the title. Updated them 2 months ago. I bought my gf one as well so i told her to update as well. we both are facing the same problem. while using it on calls or meetings it will randomly shut off. Any advice?
Hello,
I use voice dictation and VOIP for work and pretty much have to talk entire day home office. I have XM5 and like to use them while travelling but can't use them for work as they are a bit small for my head with clamping.
XM4 are perfect for size and I can use them extensively. I bought V-moda inline mic and will see how well they work for VOIP. I use USB Jabras with boom mic and they have acceptable stereo for music listening, with great NC and VOIP.
Anything higher end that may be good both for work and music, with comfort for prolonged use? Noise cancellation does not need to be strong. Can't decide if I should give Bose a try?
I brought Sony ULT WEAR headphones at 13680 INR on Amazon, is it good deal ??
Can someone please advise me on my headphones, idk if I’m doing something wrong maybe. This is my second pair of these headphones as I lost the first pair and I’ve never had a single issue before. But no charger is properly going into the charging port of the headphones. Like jt feels loose and not properly connected and the light doesn’t come on. I’ve tried different wires too that all work on other things. There’s also nothing lodged in the charging port so I don’t understand. Someone please help thank you 🙏. (Idk how to attach a video here otherwise I would be able to demonstrate the problem a bit better) Thanks again
I got these today, brand new off the box. I connected them to my phone via the app, and started listening to some music while the app downloaded an update. The whole time, the icon said it was at 100% battery.
After maybe 15 minutes I hear it say "power off" and it disconnects. I turn it on again, and the app still says it's at 100%. Another 15 minutes pass and it turns itself off yet again.
Does anyone know what could be happening? Is the app lying about it being 100%? Do I need to return these and ask for new headphones?
Is this normal?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been using my Sony XM4 headphones for a while now, and I love them for music and general use. However, I’ve noticed an issue during Teams calls. Occasionally, the person I’m talking to mentions hearing crackling sounds, and my voice becomes inaudible.
This doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, it’s really disruptive. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Could it be a problem with the microphone, Bluetooth connection, or maybe Teams itself?
I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions!
Thanks!
Hello, I was wondering how to fix what sounds like an automatic ring (2 different sounds, an ON and OFF sound) in my XM4s that randomly, and on purpose (sounds like it is trying to indicate something) play at random times. I tried connecting to multiple devices like my iPhone, iPad, and Windows 11 computer to see if the ring comes up and unfortunately heard throughout use when connected to all three.
I also just updated them to see if that fixed the problem, but nope. Its hella frustrating and annoying because it always pauses my music.
PLS HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM!!
As per the manual, I'm pressing down the power button for 7 seconds, but before it ever enters pairing mode, it just turns off. I've tried pressing down power in combination with the sound mode, but that doesn't work either. Advice on how to fix this?
With student discounts, I can get the WH1000 XM4s for £152 or the XM5s for £211. I know that the XM5s have better ANC but have durability issues and XM4s have muddier bass but are more portable. Call quality also seems to be better with the XM5s. I prefer how the XM4s look. I don't mind paying the difference for the XM5s but idk if it's worth it and would appreciate some opinions.
Hello Just bought Sony WH1000-XM5 headphones for calls mainly (in particular outside), but people calling me had trouble hearing me even when I was inside.
I sounded like I faded in and out, or “mumbling”. Does anyone know what I can do?
Hi - I have had my XM3s for years now, epic headphones.
Sometimes when I am listening to music, I always listen on a low volume, the sound randomly increases to like 95% of its maximum sound - and it kills my ears.
Anybody else experience this?
I bought some linkbuds a while ago and recently the right bud has lost sound. Not all of it but roughly a 50% reduction in volume output. I can't warranty them because I bought them on Amazon. Is it a software issue or a hardware issue? Is it something fixable?
I had been looking between the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless and the XM5s recently. Decided to go with the XM5s as I had the ch720n and they were great.
On the whole broken hinges issue, I will be treating these with the care as like any other expensive purchase. Are the hinges breaking due to people mishandling what are essentially €300+ headphones or is it a design flaw?
I would like to use these for gaming, specifically CS2, are they good for gaming wired? Do they need to be powered on whilst wired to get the correct audio? I have an external mic that I use already.
Appreciate any advice
The headphones shut off randomly all the time. I turned off speech to chat and bunch of other features like the touch panel. Does anyone know whats happening
At 935hrs of using these headphones, almost a year since I got them and I find them like this, it still connects and plays music but I won’t bend back, I don’t want to fully break them trying to fix it, I really don’t want to lose these headphones, does anyone know how to fix this safely?
They’re a littke too crisp for my liking lol i like a lot of bass (that’s what my evos are for), but they are 100% some of the best headphones in terms fo sound quality.
They’re not that loud i have to be close to halfway/above to have my music at a comfortable setting when in a quiet environment.
The ANC is mind blowing.
Overall so far i like them, still playing around with the EQ to see what’s best for all my genres.
It was between these and heavys. Still probably gonna pick up a pair of heavys soon.
Just got a pair of linkbuds s after reading lots of reviews and comments about how the fit is perfect but I can't seem to figure out how to wear them. I think the problem is the angle of the tips. When I put them on they hit nothing but wall. My ear canals are angled more towards the front and the earbuds are almost 90 degrees. The galaxy buds 2 pros are actually built at a similar angle to my ears so they fit me really well but not the linkbuds s. So are everybody's ears like this and they just know how to put them on or is it just my ears? Really want to keep these.
Hi everyone, I recently purchased the Sony LinkBuds S for just $10, but I’ve noticed the battery life is terrible. I’m planning to replace the battery, but is there any way to prevent battery drain after the replacement? Would appreciate any advice or tips!
Had these earbuds for a couple years, and a firmware update killed the batteries in the earbuds. Sony had me send them in to get the earbuds replaced and when I got them back, the case seemed to have the same issue.
After a bunch of phone calls, 2 escalations, and a bunch of emails, they refuse to help.
DO NOT BUY
Hi, I switched to the 1000XM5's and have enjoyed them quite a bit, but using them for phone calls or Teams calls seems a gamble. Half of the time, it will work perfectly. The other half, I can hear them fine, but they cannot hear anything I am saying. If I understand correctly from them, it's not vague or fuzzy, but they receive no audio whatsoever if I try to speak. I have been trying to find factors that cause this problem (other sounds in the space I'm in/whether I was listening to Spotify/other), but have not been able to find a solution. I have tried turning the bluetooth connectivity off and on during the phone call, this does not work. Anyone have a solution?
So my XM4 are connected to my laptop and mobile, when I go outside leaving behind xm4 and taking my phone with we, they disconnect as usual. But when my mobile again get in range of xm4, it does connect automatically. It shows in mobile and I just have to press one button but it is annoying everytime to do it. And if i take xm4 with me it get disconnected with the laptop and again I have to go to bluetooth device and connecty laptop again (not the whole bluetooth discovery process but still)
Do your headphones leak sound? I received mine yesterday and at around 25% volume everyone can ear what I am listening to. I don’t know if it is a defect…. I don’t believe that a headphone like this one, has this kind of leak at low volume.
These headphones are still a little bit pricy for me, but if they're extremely long lasting then id take them to ve a good investment since i use my current headphones pretty much 24/7, would love ur thoughts.
Edit: would also like to know if theyre C type
I got the XM5s as a gift, and I’ve been using them for about 2 years now and left side stopped working(in certain positions). I got it checked by sony, and they asked for 190$ only to repair the headband cause some connection is loose?!?!? Both the speakers are perfectly fine though. I have no idea what to do with these headphones, helpppp!
Just needed to get a price estimation for this repair to decide whether to get it fixed or not Model: WH-CH710N
