There are roumers spreading around that trump administration might recognise Somaliland in an attempt to get a military Base in somaliland for Israel to attack the houthis in Yemen, what do you landers think of this?

Asc all,
I’m planning to move to Somaliland and am exploring career opportunities, particularly in the NGO sector or entrepreneurial ventures.
I hold a degree in politics and have relevant professional experience in the field. My background equips me with skills, and I’m eager to contribute to meaningful projects.
Additionally, I’m open to discussing business opportunities that align with Somaliland’s growing economy and unique market needs.
If you have any advice, leads, or recommendations, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Feel free to comment here or reach out directly.
Thank you in advance!
Why are you guys so focused on our land I respected somaliland until they constructed war against ssc militias and bombed hospitals. Maroodi Jeex,Saaxil and 65% toogdheer should be more than enough to create functional country as a Khatoumite we also have political ambitions to become the Republic of Khaatumo, we should help each other not bash each other!
Hargeisa hospital international hospital khaa hospital good*s hospital manhil hospital man am still on day three any names of hospitals should I apply jobs too
So all day long i been watching the vids from Syria and as a lander yall already know there is little we love more then dictatorship falling after decades of abuse and killing 100s of thousands of people. The question was do yall think they would go straight to peace or have some scirmishes like we did (dagaalkii sokeeye). Furthermore, do yall think they would go from dictator to dictator or do what we did and bring in a democratic system.
What is the taxi fare in usd from hargesia eagle airport to berbera port ....
can anybody give information
I was just watching this video and he has somaliland listed as a not dictatorship but has somalia listed as one. Now whilst the former is clear, I was wondering why might have he made somalia be in the list of dictatorships.
Hi everyone, I know of a Somali family that’s been dealing with a legal battle over a land for over a decade. And I wanted to ask for advice on the matter.
The family bought land from one of the heirs, who provided a letter of agency with the signatures of all the other heirs, supposedly transferring ownership. However, years later, the heirs' family came back and filed a lawsuit, claiming they didn’t know about the sale—even though they had signed the letter of agency. They’ve been trying to reclaim the land ever since. The family hired a lawyer, and initially, a court ruled that the land should be returned to the original owners. Another court also ordered the family to pay a small sum to the original owners, hoping to close the matter. But the family disagreed with the ruling, and after years of back-and-forth, the last court ruling (about 10 years ago) acknowledged that the family was the rightful owner of the land and instructed that a letter of ownership be issued to them. However, to this day, nothing has happened. The land remains untouched, the family still doesn’t have legal ownership, and unfortunately, the lawyer they were working with passed away, leaving all the court documents with him. It’s worth noting that this family has been living outside of Somalia throughout this whole process, so they’re unfamiliar with the legal system there. Given that Somali laws aren’t always enforced consistently, I’m hoping to get some advice on how they can proceed with this legal situation. Also, if anyone knows a reliable lawyer in Somalia who could help them move forward, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help!

My husband and I are traveling the horn of Africa. We want to visit Somaliland. I am a geopolitical analyst and am fascinated by this subject. How feasible is it to get there from Ethiopia?
Salam
I’m looking to connect with other diaspora professionals who want to explore opportunities in Somaliland.
Is there a group chat of some kind; and if not, would people be interested?
Personally my timetable to build/invest back home is 2-3 years but I would be interested in speaking to people who are either doing it now and have market research to do so in the future inshaAllah.
Let’s connect!
I was born in jigjiga raised in jigjiga moved to America in 2012 and recently came back. However the problem is my mom is hesitant to let me go to somaliland even though she’s from hargeysa. She thinks people will harm me if I go there because my dad (aun) is mareexaan. I don’t associate with my dad’s subclan anyway because he died before I was born. How can I convince my mom to take us to the homeland while we’re here.
I’ve been hearing both good and bad reasons for recognition recently… does everyone here genuinely believe we will be recognised.
Now that’s trumps is in office this could be 2005 again. We’ve just got to get the ball playing; Riyaale failed in what Cirro potentially could succeed. I have the most trust in him due to his diplomatic history and skills something Muse doesn’t have. All we’ve got to do is get Africa in the bag and the world is our oyster. P.s for all the Somalilans our destiny isn’t in your hands the way you think; you can try sabotage us all you want but you will fail. All it takes is one successful elections and couple months of diplomatic efforts and we are there. No xamar bunker governor can do anything, Musa and kulmiye’s incompetence made many think that.
So yesterday, the BBC interviewed the president (https://youtu.be/vl3C6bm-5Kg), and a lot of people weren’t happy about it. The main criticism was that he didn’t really dive into enough details, especially about the conflict in Las'anod last year. Personally, I found his comments on the MOU with Ethiopia pretty concerning too—he hinted it might not happen anytime soon because other countries are getting involved.
On the other side, I think he’s the only candidate really tackling the actual problems and offering some possible solutions (imho). None of the others seem to get as deep as he did. I mean, sure, other candidates are talking about things like “increasing wages for soldiers,” which is definitely a good step, but I feel like there are more critical issues we need to prioritize. My point is they’re staying a bit generic compared to him.
After that interview, I actually think President Muse has a good shot against the other candidates—unless they come out with something really unexpected lol.
These are just my opinions; I'm open-minded and would love to hear your thoughts!
Asc y'all especially the ones in the country rn specifically Hargeisa, now I'm sure y'all know we r in the election era now and everybody nervous or at least me for the country sake ofc but wtf is wrong with the xisbiyada opening up rooms and apartments all over the city and spending money like there's no tomorrow (highly suspect) and with no purpose at that just bunch of dabajir and darbajiif pestering the neighborhood and doing Haram plus loud music (I wish I could report them but alas) like that . money wasted could be invested in something which would benefit ppl and Allah will judge them malintan qiyamaha ,sorry if I rambled a lot but I'm annoyed these days and thinks r getting worse with no doing nothing to stop 'em. Anyways guys waliba qolyihina qurbajoogta in in foreign countries do they also do this in the election eras? Istg I'm gonna turn into a Karen if no one stops this riwayad😭
