A place to share pictures and discuss slipjoint and traditional knives.
Show your pics discuss but please keep things civil. I don't mind if you post pics with other knives as long as there is a slipjoint in the picture too. Most of all have fun. So subscribe and stay awhile.

I was recently able to score a gec 72 plainsman, received the order packaged in a #48 tube with a #72 tube cap. Not a good sign. Open it up and theres a tomato acrylic in it. Order paper reflects ordering a #72. curious to see how this shakes out as obviously the order cant be corrected right now. Not sure what will come of this maybe just a refund and im beat. Not posting the site right now because i get it shit happens and also theres like only a few sites that get drops. Im sure customer service will figure something out but im a little bummed. This isnt a hit piece, but i figured some of you may be interested to see how this is resolved.
I fell in love with a few A.G. Russell slip joint knives a few years back and just received the third. A Large Cocobolo Gunstock with 8CR13MOV. If interested I posted the three to r/Chinese.
Shout-out to u/tacostaken for this guy, really appreciate it!
Thanks to the peeps on this sub for lining it up. Been looking for a wharncliff topper for years. Not a great pic but she’s been put to use tonight.
This thing is small, but is becoming a favorite in my carry! May be a door opener for others this size in the future. It’s my little Bose Carbon steel swayback jack that I got a week ago, and it’s been in my pocket since day one. My trusty companion to the brass 44 and my GM Ace Clyde in brass. Quickly it has became my first grab when I pull out the slip with the two in it! Sharon’s a razor, and it’s an easy fit in the hand when peeling an apple during break! I use it all week, and today I took five minutes and put a nice polish on it and she’s ready to go! I love the shiny nickel silver shield and bolsters. The shine on the bolsters looks great against the patina on the blade(s). Does anyone else do this or is it just me?
Some hot meats and some limes gave this big girl some color! I was real hesitant too at first to make this a user, but like another user commented, this seems to be the perfect work knife, and a heck of a good solo carry for edc!
