Is there any free/paid plugins for cabinet connectors in sketchup?

Hello,

I’m an architect who never learned sketchup, I always used revit so I don’t know anything about sketchup and Autocad for example, but now I’m interested on it mainly because the renders on sketchup in my opinion have a better result than in revit.

So I would like to have some tips to where start to learn it, because I don’t have idea how to start.

i have a skp file that is around 90mb

its a big project for my thesis, and trying to open skb/skp wont help, as soon as i close that file, i cant open it

i cant redo all of that due to time and complexities

i dont know why, but this never happened to me before, this is the first encounter to this error

can anyone help me?

i use sketchup pro 2019 to do most of the model

I want to build a floating entertainment center. I have a drawing but I would like to have it in sketchup as well as a cut list. Is there anyone who can assist me or who I can hire? I know nothing about sketchup. I do have measurements and a layman’s drawing and reference pictures.

Hello, I am new to SketchUP, I am also on iPad so I cant even use it. I have to make a design on SketchUP. Could someone do it for me its only a small build.

• Its a Restaurant Robot.
• It should be until hip level.
• Body should be Full of cabinets which open.
• On the shoulders, 2 cup holders.
• Its on wheels.

I tried accessing my Sketchup Pro 2024 but it says I exceeded allowed activations. I looked up the problem and it said to go through manage devices -> confirm de-authorization. That should have apparently solved my issue but after doing it multiple times and quitting my app it still shows the same thing.

I use this app on my Desktop Mac and Macbook and have multiple year versions so it probably wants me to delete past in order to keep using but I can’t even delete the other apps or they won’t let me access. Need help please!

I need help enscape is not showing up in SketchUp 2024 help please.

It still works on 2023 which thankfully I haven’t removed yet. Won’t load in 2024 at all.

I also am having an issue where it’s saying my license only has 1 seat now but I had 2 with 2023.

I got another computer and would like to put my previous version 15 in my new computer. Is this possible? I do not have the money to buy any variety of the new version.

I've recently downloaded the 8-day trial Sketchup, and was planning on importing a floor plan I made on AutoCAD, but it keeps giving me a warning about the "geometry" and that its too far away from the model origin. Here is the warning:

I am fairly new to this program and have searched the Sketchup community page for answers, many people have the same problem as me. I have tried using the solutions given on that page but have had no success.

Anyone out there creating construction logistics plans using SketchUp and then any additional programs for rendering? I am looking for some inspiration and would love to see some examples of what folks are creating/using.

For the Educational license, at least with M365/Azure, you have to grant Sketchup permission to your ENTIRE TENANT! You are not able to restrict it!

Which subscription do I need to get solid inspector? I have used free up until now and want to export to stl file for 3D printing.

It sure would be nice to be able to insert PDFs from vendors as reference images and cut sheets. Also to be able to use vector images from logos and such.

Hi yall I’m doing a Money Competition for high schoolers and middle schoolers getting into sketch up. The goal is to build an apartment with the requirements I listed below. If you want to be apart of the competition message me by end of this week! 1st place-$500 USD 2nd place-$250 USD 3rd place-$100 USD

Apartment Building Requirements

• A minimum of 5 units
• Must communicate the theme of Young Professionals working in an urban area that has a lot of transportation to get to different parts of the city. The apartment complex is going to have a gym, pool, and garage, things that young professionals will utilize.
• "Grounds" need to be designed *An entrance needs to be designed (not included in the 5 units)
• You will use the "shell" of the apartment, no furnishings
• You need to include a way to get to individual units

Thoughts Do not worry about engineering or plausibility Keep your theme in mind, use it to inform you work Be careful of "deadspace" when you design

I am able to open the file in the free SketchUp viewer and I enjoy spinning views of my house and measuring the walls, but I think I need pro to export to a CAD file that my new architect can work with.

Are there other options? Or would someone with pro be willing to convert it for me?

I'm not entirely sure why the rough cut is the highlighted measurement, when I want to highlight the cut I actually want. Any way around this? Using this to set up a cut list for a friend for a build we're doing

When applying an image to a curved wall it appears broken up like this.. how can I fix this? It also appeared upside down, I had to invert the image then import it

I'm facing a problem with the V-Ray add-on in SketchUp. After resizing the floating window, it disappeared and I couldn't find a way to bring it back. I've tried various methods suggested online, including using keyboard shortcuts, checking the taskbar, and reinstalling both SketchUp and V-Ray, but none of them worked. Can anyone help me with this issue? I'm not sure what else to try

Hi Everyone!

Is there a way to bring SketchUp to the Apple Vision Pro? I know about the Sketuch viewer for Quest, but I haven’t seen anything like that for Apple. Any way to export a USDZ model? I’ve tried but they seem to be too big for the Vision Pro to open the files.
