What are some of the best skateparks in the USA worth travelling to in the winter months?(from Vancouver BC looking to escape the rain on a sk8cation).
I've only ever been to one skatepark with camping right at it, which is Lincoln, Montana and it's awesome. Do you know of any other skateparks with campgrounds right at them?
Hey fellow design enthusiasts! I wanted to share an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to push the boundaries of architecture and urban design: Skatepark design. If you're studying architecture or urban planning, or just have an interest in creating functional, dynamic spaces, this is a path worth exploring. Here's why:
So, if you're passionate about creating spaces that inspire movement, culture, and community, a skatepark design course might just be the perfect fit. Trust me, it’ll expand your design toolkit and provide a fresh perspective on public space design. https://www.instagram.com/sk8parkacademy/
Anyone else here worked on skatepark design or thinking about diving into it? Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences!

My partner and I just escaped Helene since we were in the WNC area and our town isn’t expected to get running water until December. Long story short we’re staying with a friend in Vero Beach Florida and we’re having absolutely no luck finding a park that allows quads, and no helmets, and is free.
Are there any DIYs in the south Florida area, or at least any non-city run parks? We’re willing to travel (Tampa and surrounding areas are about to get fucked by Milton so not there at least) I personally am trying to avoid Miami but ig I’d make the drive for a good sesh.
What's up everyone. We're updating the signage and looking to get rid of some of the outdated and unenforced rules from 20-30 years ago. I'm not really sure we really need signage at all but it can't hurt to have some with operating hours, contact info, etc.
Anyone have good examples from their local parks of signage that focuses more on things like keeping the park clean or being kind as opposed to prohibiting stuff that no one is enforcing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Seeking a comp for my town that has many trees located in it's park. Here's some more details below.
There are some fantastic locations within the community, but some of the best ones have a few trees spaced around the existing park. Many of the residents in my community are all about the idea of a park being made, but are very adamant that no trees can be knocked down.
Does anyone have any suggestions on parks that have done a good job at incorporating the trees inside of their parks?
