Or are only gameplay mods affected by updates and new DLC?
Seems kinda odd I need to learn Painting, Violin, in order to have a degree in the Fabrication skill that uses Focus, and makes objects that have no quality level. Maybe they just didn't know where to put it?
So yeah, I forgot to save after hours of playing. Sims froze and crashed and I lost a whole couple hours of stuff I did (nearly 2 stars of fame)
Sad I am
so i bought an external hard drive a while back for when i need it and could safely figure out how to move it there. i’ve watched tons of videos and I think i finally got it which requires me to uninstall then reinstall. however, i am afraid i will lose all my files and saves (including expansions)
i cant seem to figure out how to back it up or anything. i tried to click and drag the sims 4 folder to my external hard drive but it doesn’t work. its brand new with 500 GB.
i need someone’s help as i’ve been trying to figure this out for damn near a year lmao.
My spliced plants are not growing orchids/pomegranates that say that they will grow etc even though they’re all sheltered. Am I doing something wrong?
i wanted to drag a dead sims remains to this grave spot here like what it tells me to do, but it only just rejects it and brings it back to my inventory. am i doing it wrong?? am i not supposed to drag the urn to here? bc if not, i have No idea what they mean by sim remains.
im doing a thing where i try to have a sim experience all possible deaths (he's a virtuoso spellcaster + lv10 (gourmet) cook so he can def revive as many times as he likes lol) and my brain refuses to keep going thru with the plan until im able to assign this grave to him... its near his house and thought itd be fun to make his first ever death a public grave like this. what exactly am i doing wrong here??
I'm doing the rag to Rich's challenge I thought be hard but actually pretty freaking easy lol thanks to fishing up dragon Fruits planting them I made so much money I'm already making myself a house
i haven't had this much fun playing sims in... years?? maybe?? there's just so much going on in my current save, it's a riot. this old fella got personally invited to work as a grimtern -- and not long after, was asked to star in a dating reality show, requiring him to go on 7 perfect dates before his moodlet expires. i've had him attend dates all over ravenwood and the world is gorgeous, with plenty to do in every neighborhood!
he was, unfortunately, the only nude at the full moon festival. there's always got to be that one old guy, right? 😅
This is the ceiling in my sims house
He is so cute, I can’t!
I played a Grimborn man from birth to accidental death via electrocution as a young adult, and I'm still not sure what this trait does. It says he's more connected to the circle of life and death, does that mean he makes more children? Certainly makes sense, because he managed to have five of them with his boyfriend who he doesn't even live with! When he joined the Mortician career, iirc he got level 3 immediately? Maybe it's that?
Ngl, the Life and Death world has me a bit taken aback. Like... Do I have to worry about my longtime username getting copywrited?
But nah, all jokes aside, Ravenwood was not what I was expecting. Every Ravenwood Festival now I have to doubletake over the notification lmao.
What are everyone else's thoughts?
