UNID signal 144.3625MHz

This signal has popped up every now and then the last few days on VHF. Very strong so im guessing its local.

Did some searching on sigidwiki but could not find anything that matched it.. Except PSK2K.. However it does not sound the same. It does match closely to the frequency.

Given that this is basically within the 2m HAM band, is this some amateur digital mode i am not familiar with yet?

Location is Trondheim, Norway.

Getting started with signal identification

Hello everyone. I am looking to get started with signal identification as both a hobby and a practical tool. I think everyone here already knows why this is fun, but for the practical reason. I do alot of RC flying and work with various radio systems that operate best when I can have the frequencies to myself. I would like to have a portable (doesn't have to be super easy to move) setup. I see a lot of screen shots of various software and various SDRs mentioned here. I was hoping to get some suggestions on both a good hardware package to get would be, and which software packages I should look toward. It would be a bonus if I could determine rough signal direction so I could go away from it.

Ideally this will be compatible with both Mac and PC, but no show stoppers if it only supports one or the other.

Thoughts?

Could anyone identify what this is?

I’ve been scanning random frequencies and stumbled across this on the website websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/m.html

It’s 18455 USB. Sound like a lot of tango Charlie. Echo bravo talk

Approx 1100GMT it sounded very much like a Russian speaking clear English but also Russian.

Any help identifying the location or anything at all would be most appreciated

NJ Drones - RF Profile

Is anybody in Eastern New Jersey able to collect RF spectrum analysis of the mystery drones that are widely being reported in the last week? https://www.reddit.com/r/NJDrones/ - They appear to be operated beyond visual sight and may be using 3g/4g/5g/Satellite uplink. It would be interesting to know what part(s) of the spectrum they're using for data links.

Interference??

This signal has started affecting my SDR at home, only been there a few days but is causing air band to jump all over and is evidence (although weaker) up to 450 MHz. We have nothing extra running, could this be something nearby?

Signal on 6115 kHz

I have noticed a signal very similar to this appearing at 6115 kHz for the last few days at around 12-13 UTC. I can receive it weakly with my 49 m band dipole antenna in eastern europe. When looking at KiwiSDR in another country it appeared to be pulsed and had several sideband harmonics like in the video.

2 signals here (UK) almost like repeating pagers, the 456.400 one stopped and shifted to 456.050 after a while.

Anyone seeing anything odd since all this "drone" stuff started happening?

I apologize I do not personally have any equipment to study any signals on my own but I figured it was worth a shot asking you guys. Just curious.

Need help identifing signal on 152 Mhz

I see several of this on and around 152 MHz and trying to figure out what kind of signal it is. I am in Oslo, Norway if that can help. This specific signal is on 152.112.5 MHz and has that typical "machine gun" sound to it when listening to it with NFM. It comes in quite regular intervals so I suspect some device communicating or similar. Any help? Thx in advance!

Shortwave

Looking around the shortwave bands this evening in the UK (South West) found these. Looks like some kind of packet data (similar to APRS maybe??) won't decode on MultiPSK. Anyone have any idea what this is?

300 MHz Exploration

Been spending some time exploring the 300 MHz range and found this, I wasn't sure if it was telematics at this frequency, sounds like short DMR bursts. Anyone seen this before who could advise? Thanks as always

Telematics?

Could anyone confirm if this is telematics or something else. Picked up this afternoon in Avonmouth.

OTH Radar? 32.560 MHz

Unid Wideband Signal 32560 KHz at 00:20 UTC 03 DEC 2024 using RSPlay's RSP-1A/SDRuno with a 20 meter length end fed random wire antenna.

I've been receiving this signal at 00:10 - 01:10 daily for the last few days. I originally thought that it might have been originating from the Far East, Russia due to that area usually being open on 10 meters at this time of day/season. But r/FirstToken says he's been observing the signal for weeks, for hours at a time in the Mojave Desert. I left one of my receivers, tuned to the frequency, running all day and I picked it up very sporadically at 10:30, 11:30, and 14:00 PST. Each time for less than 10 seconds - almost like Meteor Scatter.

Today at 00:20 UTC the signal was very strong. I tuned another receiver between 28200 - 28300 KHz looking for any 10 meter CW Beacons that might be open in the same vicinity. I found nothing and switched to USB at 28.300 - 28.500 MHz. Only a couple weak Japanese Hams were audible. Finally I tuned to 10 meter FT8. The strongest station was RW0IM - located in Far East, Russia. BTW, my antenna is directional at this frequency and situated towards the Far East, Russia. Could this signal be propagating from that area?

Identifying new Signal

Hey all, picked up something different that I have not seen before. Still fairly new but getting to grips with identifying more and more (mainly due to support here). I have picked this up from Hampshire (UK) this morning. Anyone know what it is?

I can't find anything on the wiki that looks and sounds like this. There are 2 signals like this when I zoom out, 20khz BW each, around 11mhz-11.1mhz. Heard 1100-1200EST, Michigan.
