So Im asking here cause I'm at a loss as to what this could mean.

The last few times I've used a sigil for look it's been destroyed fine, usually I just release the sigil by flowing water. Tonight I felt an urging to instead swith to a candle burning.

I did my usual process of creating a sigil, charged it, and then went to burn it, only for it to not burn. This is tissue paper and it didn't burn, I sat there for easily two minutes waiting but despite the flame being right next to it the paper refused to burn. I tested a blank piece and it burned just fine. Then I tried hurriedly to write a less complicated sigil to get a general gist of my spell through and this time it not only didn't burn, the flame just extinguished itself.

Had anyone any experience as to what this could mean? Im a relatively new witch and have 0 idea what this might mean or indicate beyond some theories. If anyone knows or have any ideas or experienced this before please let me know as I was really needing this luck spell!

Hypothetically, let’s say two people were having trouble getting along, and one person had an item that belonged to the other person, like say a book, hypothetically. Could the person borrowing that book put a Sigil on a bookmark, or otherwise enchant the book itself so that they could make peace with the owner of the book once returned? The intention wouldn’t be mind control or possession over that person, but an attempt to strengthen a bond that has been weakened. Is it possible to plant a magical object into someone’s possession that would influence them without them knowing?

Or, otherwise, could someone slip a sigil or enchantment of some kind into a person’s house, car, bag, desk, or what have you and influence someone in some way? Obviously there are some nefarious connotations to that, but maybe you have a friend with anxiety and you left a peace charm in their purse without them knowing. Would that manifest peace in their life, or am I thinking of some Hollywood magic here? Does someone have to have contact with a sigil and understand its intention for it to work?

The more I think about it the more it feels like a curse than a charm. Even if the intention isn’t malicious it’s still not consensual. What are your thoughts? Is there anything like this in magic?

What are the fluted crosses (for want of a better term) often used in Solomonic sigils???

What do I do with the remaining ashes left behind from burning the sigil? Do i toss it in the air ?? Drain it???

Don't know much about sigils- this might be common, this might be nonsense, but Google won't tell me anything. Someone handed it to my wife with a bag of small crystals, looks like its burned into birch??

The intention is lost in the invention, but its supposed too. I purposefully try to make them so complicated to where only God and his army know, taking my intention from my brain into reality, not just a thought :)
