All the times in all games all my work for trying to put a strat into practice or doing things the right way things get ruined all the time by casuals just reinforcing where they shouldn't doing dumb placements and generally griefing the games i work my ass off hard to learn new strats and work on my mechanics and aim analyse pro play games to learn their strats how to apply those and such just to get everything ruined by the randoms that hide behind the excuse of "playing for fun" doing this on purpose and at this point idk what to do anymore i try to adapt to those fuckups but everything ends up worse since they keep on making things worse continously and at this point it just feels like that all the effort and work i put in is just worthless that trying to play well and get good all my work all my tears hours spent even losing sleep hours to practice all is useless cause it gets constantly ruined and stomped on and i just don't know what to do anymore...

I haven't played siege in along time and I'm struggling to get back into it as I only ever got as high as emerald 3 when I was in my prime and each game I play now tends to have 2+ champs and a couple diamonds. I'm far from my prime, I can't find the game fun if I'm fighting robotic champs if I'm low plat ish at best.

So I’m pretty new to siege I only recently got into the game this season. I’m level 70 with 136 hours so far. I’m struggling with picking which attack operators fit my playstyle and the best way to utilize them. For some info about my current playstyle I play smoke. I love his loadout I run his shotgun and smg-11. I average about 1.5 kills a round on defense and I play a mix between onsite or just outside of sight. I do not like to roam since my games sence is pretty bad. On attack I tend to make fast pushes onto point or find a spot just outside of point looking into it. If anyone could give me advise, which operators to play, or any info on what to look for in an operator that would be greatly appreciated.

I've had siege for a handful of years now. I've played on and off (Level's in the mid 100's). my KD and WL are 1.2 and 1.1, but I can't seem to get out of low silver. My aim is fine, but I just don't really know where to start for map strats. My teammates are usually brain dead and deaf, so even when I frag out or go even there's always a few 0-7 people on my team.

I used to play R6 during Ranked 1.0 with a team where we would usually be placed around Plat 2. After a few se season we made a 4 year break on the game. If I remember correctly in my last 1.0 season I had bad placements matches and gave up.

Recently we came back and been playing as the same 5 stack all matches, we did around 70 matches all together and I’m placed at Silver 5 meanwhile another friend is Emerald 3.

We’ve played all matches together so we have the same win rate and it’s not like I’m being carried (currently 1.2 k/d).

I just feel it’s a bit dumb for the game to decide your rank instead of being decided by your ranked games performance.

Anyways, how can I improve my hidden MMR so that I can get a more adequate rank?

Hey I’ve never been able to figure this out, when is it better to sweep angles in a continuous motion as your crosshair follows the edge of cover vs quick-peeking each individual angle while going in and out of cover?

I always thought that it’s ok to sweep when clearing rooms out of site but on site doors you should quick peek everything cause you don’t know if there’s a goyo holding a pixel angle while prone that you would otherwise miss or not react in time enough with a continuous sweep, and therefore not be able to return fire and flick or return to cover in time.

However… when I watch videos of pros entry fragging they often sweep site doors and walk in and barely quick peek, they seem to strictly reserve quick peeking for gunfights that are fought from a single angle. So my real question is: is it okay for me to quick peek site doors and take a little more time or should I be faster and sweep? When should each method be used?

EDIT: A big example I thought of was when pushing construction - bedroom door on clubhouse, would you quick peek that site entrance or sweep it?

My recoil control is absolutely atrocious. I can't control simple guns like Lions smg or the g36c on ash/iana. I really need to get good at controlling recoil, not only so i can climb ranks, but also so i can feel more comfortable playing the game. I've also decided to start playing ela despite my shocking recoil control abilities and have been trying my best to get better, but i really can't. I grinded endless drill, Vs ai and shooting range for nearly 2 hours and haven't seen any improvement in my aim

Hey everybody, I’m a new siege player who’s currently level 41. I am confident in my aim and hit most of my shots from past experiences from other fps, but I don’t even know what all the characters do yet nor any of the maps. So, my question is what do you think is the first thing a new siege player should learn?(Extra question: is maining someone good for you?)

Is it easier to do on console or pc, I’m on pc but I’m just curious. For the people on pc how tf do you move your fingers so fast to strafe, peek, strafe back and peek again… my fingers don’t move like that

So I’m a very new siege player and only have about 10 hours on it. I understand this game has a steep learning curve and as someone who has never played fps seriously before, but it’s worse than I thought. I mainly just assumed that the worst I could do was die, but I’ve now stopped ever reinforcing or barricading because every other time I do it’s wrong and I get yelled at. It’s not people being toxic, I just feel bad that I’m ruining other peoples fun.

Really every part of my skills need work, aim terrible, peaking atrocious, callouts and map knowledge somehow even worse. I’ve been working my way through some of the starter videos on the wiki and there great and all, but I feel like to really improve I need to get practice but standard is too overwhelming

I tried doing bots but a 5v1 wasn’t do able. Should I use a specific aim trainer? Something else?

My question ultimately comes down to how I can improve from basically nothing

Siege is my first fps game. (I usually play more cozy games but one day I saw my boyfriend playing and I tought it looked fun so I bought the game) I have a 0.4 kd after 6 months of owning the game and I feel embarassed 😬 I never know when to be agressive, I usually play passive. Any tips for me ?

I don’t know if I’m just shit but I can’t see any situation where you should take the shotgun over the smg. The firerate is abysmal so it takes forever to get a kill at close range. Is it supposed to be used at long ranges? I haven’t really had the chance to try it at long range yet. Any tips?

I want my aim to reach the level of content creators like thaqil, oozie, skittlz and etc, no matter how unrealisitc that may be. For those with good aim, what are some good warm up exercises you guys do to get good aim? Do you guys practice on big balls idle or moving? near or far? any advice is great

I'm starting to play Dokkaebi right now and loving it. I do the support role for my team, following behind them by droning or in person, waiting for them ask the cell bombs, and hacking the corpses to access cameras. I'm having a blast, it's like I found my dream role after all these years.

Problem is, I play with crap earbuds and while I can hear the enemy cell phones vibing and know the overall distance, I'm struggling with the precise direction. So, is there a way to improve this perception? I use TV mode sound setting. Should I change it to Night mode or Hi-Fi? What the other Dokk players out there prefer? Thanks in advance.

I recently bought the Xbox wireless headset and have also got back into R6, after a few years break.

I wanted to see if anyone else is using this headset and had any advice on the EQ settings for best audio and directional sound?

Have tried a few options but not getting clear audio in terms of direction.

I really wanted to start my own org but decided it would be a good idea to start off small with an r6 team, but I’m doing a very mediocre at best level of management for them. I’d like recommendations on where would be best for searching for an r6 team manager and what the price range might be for a T4/T3 manager, I know at this level a lot of people work for free but just in case I might have to put someone on salary I want an estimate because I also plan on paying for any/all of the teams tournament fees.

Hi guys I'm super new to this game (level 13 or smth can't even play ranked yet).

I cannot understand what I'm supposed to do against shield ops like Montagne. I just get absolutely shit on every time. To be fair I'm trash at the game anyway but especially against shield ops idk what I'm supposed to be doing.

I am a plat 3, 1.1kd on pc, i play fairly decent for my plat-em, and the occasional diamond lobbies even when solo queueing or playing with friends. But when i play with my friend that's in silver, i play unusually ass, can someone maybe provide a theory on why that is? is it skill issue?

I have recently returned to siege after maybe 3 years, and I'm really struggling to control the recoil on my guns. Is sitting in the training range the best thing to do, and focus on ops/guns I prefer to use, and just spraying the targets to get used to the recoil pattern?

Would I benefit more from playing games against AI, like the old terrorist hunt mode?

Guns like the SMG-11 are basically unusable on for me, and I see everyone saying how easy the MP7 is to use, but I feel like it recoils like a mf. It might be because I'm on console, I'm curious how other console players feel about recoil.

I’m level 96 and haven’t played a game of ranked. I’m not a bad player but I’m definitely not great, I have 1.5 kd in standard and I understand most maps quite well I do struggle with call-outs because I’m not familiar with the lingo I just know my way around the maps, I also mostly play solo q and I know I should try find a stack.

My question is, are there any specific videos I should watch on yt to help prepare my self for ranked strats, call-outs ect?
