Hi I was wondering if zero is good for solo queue as I’ve seen some people say he is and some people say he’s not, I was wondering if I should use him for solo queue or not
im a decent player. especially lately ive been getting really good. my aim seems locked, making smart plays, crazy clutches, aces, all that. suddenly on friday all of that stops. my aim sucks, my positioning is always bad, im dying to stuff i havent died to since i first picked up the game. i have no confidence! i try to give myself confidence and warmup before i play but none of that is seeming to work. ive had 0-6 games for the first time in months and i dont know what to do. any tips?
As above, I haven’t played siege in 2-3 years but has kept track of new updates (operators at least) over the past years till now.
I recently wanted to get back into Siege and level up (used to play on xbox so pc account needs some levelling before being able to play rank)
I suck at map knowledge and struggle with picking a good operator that fits my playstyle (and good to clean off the rust)
Appreciate any tips or guides, TIA!
Does anyone have a good way of quick peeking with your side buttons on your mouse?
I’m still quite new to siege about a month in and I just started to change my sens and idk what to have as and sens. My friend said have 35 vert and 100 horizontal but I just don’t know what ads should be. I have my thing on standard ads and I like 24 on the 1.0x but I’m clueless the rest
is an fov of 80 low for a game like siege? I play on 16:9.
I'm trying to get a sens of 4.8 but obviously siege has the shitty sens system and I just don't know what to do. I'm really dumb please help.
Is there any point to it, or will his utility lack use in a soloq environment
Hi, I’ve been playing Siege on and off for a few years so I have basically every operator but I’m only level 42 and can never really get the hang of it. I watch streamers effortlessly dominate lobbies and it makes me want to get better.
Any tips? (I’m an Xbox player)
At the moment I have the Basilisk x Hyperspeed. Some complaints that I had about it was that it is heavy and there wasnt much room for me to rest my ring finger when I use normal claw grip (according to the advanced grips, most likely carpal stabilised claw grip). I basically only play Rainbow Six siege and I was thinking of getting one of these mouses. I also have a hand of 18/9 cm in case if it matters.
Razer Viper V3 pro
Zowie U2
Sora v2
I was also possibly thinking of fnatic x lamzu mouse but because it is ergonomic, turning left and right may feel a bit different and there also seems to not be as much space for my ring finger as the three above (except if anyone wants to correct me I havent seen any of these in person). If anyone also recommend Vaxee mice please tell me why so I can decide over the other mice.
Any tips would be much appreciated!
This is mostly to do with the barrels, which do you guys use?
My aim is decent (not good but not the worst I’ve ever seen) and I’m trying to get my game sense down, but I feel I die before I ever get the chance to do anything. What’s a good way to die less without having to play a shield operator? Is there some operator who lets you have a longer average survival time?
I recently hit my best rank ever after years of playing (Diamond 2) and I find myself really struggling against lean-spamming SMG-12 players.
Does anyone have any tips for how I can “counter” that play style?
Also if anyone wants to squad up I’m on Xbox!
I pick good ops, drone, always play with someone, but I always end up losing. Whats something I could do to avoid a losing streak? I went 0–1 today, 1-5 yesterday, and 3-6 the day before. Also PSN is La_Flame640 for extra info and stats.
Well fellas was looking to buy a new headset for Christmas (budget 120 euro) or do I bother upgrading? I have the PlayStation 5 pulse headpjones.
After 980h 46m of playtime, Even tho I’m not too focused on the rank itself it feels great to finally hit my highest rank: EMERALD!
Huge thanks to everyone who helped me out on my posts!
Hello I’m fairly new to r6 and only started playing a few days ago and I was wondering who’s a good op to save for in either the attacker or defender side.
Currently playing on roller, and my monitor has a crosshair setting that has a green dot. It lines up perfectly on the tip of the magnified B.
So I tried to put the optic colour on white and the lowest opacity, with the monitor crosshair on.
Is this something y’all would recommend? Or is it anyone else that uses the same settings ?
I usually go nomad, often solo. What's the right way to push. Holding construction wall, going through secret, etc. Thanks!
I want to talk about the new Op "Striker" that was just added into siege with its most recent season. First off I love the choice of giving it the M4 for it's primary weapon. It's a nice touch to this op as an attacker as it's fluid like most weapons in the game, really fun to use and looks great with this build. I can't help but know that the devs payed homage to our other first person shooter games when they came to this decision. The gadgets aren't much and I maybe was hoping for something new but they still give room to the player to establish themselves when enforcing position, creating for teammates and opening up opportunities. I've used him for quite a bit and am in love to say the least. It may not be seen as an out of this world operator like some of the other additions but it does work well for strategic players.
i bought a new headset and my audio is still very poor. it also sounds like it is lagging. does anyone have any tips to get better audio. i keep dying bc i can’t hear.
I have been playing this game for a year now , and have managed a 1.1KD (Gold 3).
My new settings that I am trying out are:
DPI: 1600
Polling rate: 8000
Screen Resolution : 2560X1440P (27inch screen, ik its HUGE)
FOV:70
Mouse sens: 5Vertical/5Horizontal
Raw input: On
My old settings were:
DPI: 1000
Sens: 27Vertical/27Horizontal and 16 ADS.
FOV: 65 and sometimes 68
Everything else is same
Can someone teach me how to calculate my cm/360 for my old vs new settings so i can compare them and see. I feel like my aim is inconsistent. I do not have a lot of space on my desk so I prefer to be a wrist aimer rather than move my whole arm. I see people recommend 3/3 sens max for 1600DPI. I changed my settings because I am becoming more inconsistent in higher ranked lobbies.
I posted in here not too long ago for some aim advice and tips. A lot of the comments really helped, and I've definitely improved.
I've noticed one thing though, while I've been practicing in shooting range. Twitch's F2 with a magnified scope is LITERALLY impossible to control, and I don't mean difficult to use in a match, I mean it literally feels like there's a setting wrong somewhere lmao. I know the advice will be - skill issue.
When I try and use the target even up close with this gun, I can only control it to a point where the recoil slowly creeps upward. If I try and adjust the right analog stick even a fraction downward to try and stop this, it just makes my aim move downwards as if I'm pulling back on the trigger way too much. There's no in-between where the recoil stays still.
I'm probably doing a bad job of explaining, but TL;DR - feels like there is no "sweet spot" for the recoil control on this gun, is it a sens issue, deadzone issue, stick acceleration issue?
started the game this season on pc, reached plat 4 and want to do something else than clear roamers with dokk when im on attack.
love playing vert but can’t decide which op i should stick with
love bucks gun and versatility, plus he’s a two speed, but every time i play vert a roamer rushes and kills me, doesn’t matter if i droned out the whole top floor, or if i pre-placed all my drones for a flank watch.
fuze seems underrated to me, he’s really good to counter bandit trickers on certain sites and a really good displacement/anti util op, plus he has a shield, but he’s super predictable and i often get c4ed
i’m getting ram next but wanted to know if there are any better options, or if my playstyle on buck/fuze is wrong, will try nomad out too but no hard breaching puts me off of her, any tips appreciated
I see him frequently recommended in this subreddit as a good operator, especially for solo que. However, he's always in the underpicked, too weak section of the operator win deltas. Why is this so?
Imagine if my peak rank for this season was diamond 5 with a good kd but I dropped down a lot by a lot I meen to em5 so would my elo games be bad next season or will it be good
(Does it go off peak for that season or final rank)
My 1x sens is 26 but my 2.5 is 44 it feels so wierd I just changed from slow sense to high (console btw). Should I change my 2.5 abit lower or not it just doesn’t feel right with my 1x
Uh I just have a question. I’m in r6 tournament with my ps5 and what does deadlock mean for a tourney?
