Help with Substrate
hello, fellow growers. im sorry if a question like this is breaking rules or guidelines but i’ve been stumped for a few weeks and now i’m out of time and need some help. i’m concerned with the amount of substrate i’m to put in my 66QT 24”L x 16”W x 13” tub i know i don’t need a lot of substrate to have a successful grow, or at least you don’t even need it to be half the height of the tub. where i’m stuck is just how much substrate do i actually put into the tub when i’m ready? i wanted to use about three 1 qt jars of spawn. i know that may be a lot but that’s how much i’d ideally like to use. does anyone have any good measurements for this amount? any word on additives like worm casting or gypsum would be greatly appreciated as well

Pink oysters: How long from s2b til harvest?
My jars are about ready to go to buckets, but I have to go away for 2 weeks. I think I’ve got my chamber pretty well dialed in with temp, humidity, and FAE automation. If I s2b before I go will I be back in time for the first flush?

Contaminated or Safe to Consume?
Seems to have more gray in the mycelium than I would like. I let the grow go, and the fruit is growing well. Is it safe to consume? Is this grow contaminated?

There is something white under the pins on my monotub. What is this? . Does it have a negative effect on mushrooms?

One grain has blue/green mould on the end of it. I assume it’ll just spread and grow. Even if the mycelium continues to grow I’m guessing the mould will be substantial by then.
New to this (first batch of grain from agar).

Mushrooms growing ON the bag?? Could this cause a lesser yeild?
all those dark water droplets are tiny mushrooms growing ON the bag, not side pins or on the substrate but fruiting straight of the wall of the bag. Is this a problem? I’m scared they are gonna stay tiny and use up all the mycelium’s energy when it could be used for bigger fruits on the cake. Any help would be appreciated as it’s my first grow, thank y’all!!
