Was super surprised everything went exactly as planned easy, and wow the twice fired brass is significantly harder to form w my Redding small base die. This out of a 16 inch Psa barrel at 50 yards cuz didn’t feel like driving to my car range other day but .43 should be under an 1inch at 100 I’m hoping. This sub gave me confidence to get started even tho I have no one around me w experience really
Only 2.5gr under the minimum powder charge for that bullet weight!
Looks like my turn to get a bullet puller.

I used some factory 1x nickel plated brass and Win LR Mag primers. Two things I rarely do. The primer pockets were clapped out after the first firing. I despise Winchester primers in general, let alone a WLRM behind any charge less then 85gr. This one went at 68.0gr H1000 behind a 162 ELD-X(.040" off the lands). No pressure signs otherwise. Needless to say I pulled the rest and reloaded the ladder w/Norma brass and CCI 250's. I haven't done this in 15+ years so heres my entry for shitty reloading!
I tried loading 225gr into a .308 with 34gr of 4064
This is actually a modified case I was making. Went through all the steps to do a shitty job machining it. Previous made cases I have resized in match dies without the neck bushing so that the case easily fits in the chamber. This one (223) I only have a full length die for, so I decided I could force a projectile all the way through to open the neck back up. The seating die crushed both that dream and the neck.
Time to get the cutting fluid back out.
No clue what caused this but found it at the range. 300 win mag brass obviously shot out of the wrong gun... what should i name it?
I guess the third time reloading this shells it's a bit too much.
new to the reloading hobby, no budget, had to get creative.
I didn't have a tumbler or media... so i used old 22 LR brass, and small stainless steel computer screws as media. in an old bucket of bullets (22LR) with some dish soap i shook for a wile and saw some good results, rinsed and used hot water and dishwasher soap, found an old hand massager and bungy-corded that thing for like 30 minutes, rinsed, even better results... used some barkeepers friend, more hot water and shook by hand for what felt like forever.
what do yall think?
I guess I didn't chamfer this one enough 😖...
Looks like I have a new piece of nickel 300 blackout

Hanging on by a pube
When I sat this bullet to build a dummy round round for my new 6.8W, I shaved so much of the sides of the bullet that I think the .277 bullet is now about ready to be loaded into a 6.5 CM. The crooked roll crimp was a nice touch.
I still cannot believe it fed into the chamber.
Note: this was my first time using a Redding seating die. I much prefer the Hornady seating die. Even the lock rings on the Reddings are a pita. Redding dies high prices for bad designs.
If Hornady ever makes 6.8W dies, I'll replace the Redding Die Set.
