It is rumored that Hooker won't have surgery on the ankle. Lionel Cronje is still in the mix as a back up. Tian Meyer has retired.
I know he hasn't really been first choice for a while but I still rate him was very surprised to see the move.
Hey gents, I hope you are all doing well this Friday!
We all know that our wing stocks are bit low on star quality these days. We are missing Werner Kok and have also not really replaced Sbu Nkosi (who was absolute quality before his struggles). Keyter is a little low on confidence, hopefully he'll bounce back after the break.
Which of our squad are you keen to see play on the outside channel? We do have Marnus Potgieter and Gershwin Wehr yet to play this season.
If you could have a few drinks with Marco Masotti and could suggest one affordable winger to snag from elsewhere, who would you choose?
Yes Mchunu has not been in great scrumming form thus far this season, indifferent would be my discription.
But I am not keen on losing him, even more so to a direct rival
I figured we had reasonable front row depth
With flexibility of Trevor and Ruan Dreyer being able to pack down on both sides of the scrum
Thus not keen on losing a player whose been developed in our system for a while now
Mchunu and Jacobs rested this past weekend, keen to see both of them back this week against a really good munster team
Actually somewhat disappointed that we didn't get 5 points.
Especially since we gave this Glasgow 2 points when we could have denied them any, that could be a issue later this season.
The difference in quality between our players who play test rugby regularly (Not just those that have a few test caps) and everyone else is stark
Only player off the Bench that made a positive impact was Grant Williams
Interesting how Trevor and Ruan were the reserve props
I suspect they are being rotated with Jacobs and Mchunu and I think we will see the two of them on the bench next week, I Just hope they make a better impact
Keyter giving the pen away late for being infront of the kicker 😬
On a positive note Emile Van Heerden was solid
