Is this game still a thing or did it die out? If so whats the system req. And all that
Hey everyone. I just picked this game up 2 or 3 days ago during the Steam sale. I grew up playing D&D and Shadowrun modules as well as video games. I have a soft spot in my heart for anything Shadowrun related so I'm absolutely loving this game so far.
I've seen a few people online in game but this sub looks pretty quiet. Is anyone still playing or have any tips?
so does this game still have an active community? Me and a couple of friends just picked it up on steam and while it has its obvious flaws we are in love with it and have seriously considered buying the DLC for the game. We are a bit nervous as we dont know how much life is left in the game and throwing away 16 Euro on DLC for a game that is going to last a months time just doesnt seem like a good idea soo.. anyone in here still playing? And does anyone know anyhting about the long term viabillity of the game?
Did anyone here get the miniatures that came with this game?
I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm hoping they are still available. All links seem to be broken though, and I couldn't find any info in r/Shadowrun. It's not even clear whether or not I can buy them outright anymore.
If anyone has any more information, or even has them and doesn't want them, I'm definitely interested.
What background should an automatics user pick? I'm going to be using blades as my secondary but I won't be investing many or any points into them as I will be using automatics as my primary. If it helps to mention I will be an elf. Thank you for your time.
I'd like to try and get this running. What are the popular builds? Is it possible to max out everything on a single character?
Shadowrun Chronicles was on my steam wishlist for awhile. I heard positive and negative things but gave it a try and it's better than I expected. Grouping with other players has been a blast, so much better than henchmen.

Does anyone know where to find a list for the equipment added by the Infected update? So far, the wiki does not have it.
People not playing or discussing elsewhere?
Please keep in mind my standard for Shadowrun video games hacking is the old Sega Genesis version. With that in mind does this game have good hacking.
Is the skill dumbed down to be like a lock picking skill in fantasy games like Dues Ex?
Or does it have a large intense and rewarding matrix?
My dream is a Shadowrun mmo that has the Street Sam, magicians and adopts go in on the ground while the hacker attacks from with in, controlling the cameras, alarms and doors while stealing valuable Intel.
Or just plugs in and data mines for profit when there is nothing else to do.
Do I get this? Or will I be disappointed?
Having a color palette for Skin and Hair would be nice, but what's far more annoying by having Hair NOT have its own color option is I have to go through multiples of the same style to get to the next.
It'd be swell if they'd make these separate.
Also no, Red, Pink or Purple hair? That's a bummer. Really you should go with an RGB palette instead of static options. Many games do this, and I know the tech behind it is simple.
I cannot remember where we can download these from. Can anyone help me out?
I'm a big fan, but the whole "is this an MMO" controversy is holding me back. In its current state, is this worth buying? PROS/CONS?
I can see that the coupon was applied on the 8th. The launcher says that the rewards should be in my inventory, but I don't see any of it. Have you guys been able to get your gear (flamethrowers, bioware, etc)?
Is there?
In the FAQ it says under "What does Early Access give?" --- "What does the Early Access give? 30USD gets you a campaign version of the final game and full access to the early access version until release…and the warm and fuzzy feeling of having helped to make a Shadowrun MMO become reality." Pretty sure they just called their game an MMO. ?????
Yet they then say this. "We have had repeated comments and complaints from people who are expecting our game to be a full-scale, open world MMO in the style of World of Warcraft. Now we have made it (hopefully) clear from the beginning that this is not the case with our limited budget, but a lot of folks don’t really read past the name tag, assume a game with “online” in the title should be a massive open world game and then go berserk on us for not delivering what they envisioned."
We go berserk on people who BS. Get it straight before you blame people for the result of your BS. Reading past the name leads to an FAQ that calls it an MMO. Pretty sure that is YOUR fault.
False Advertising Much???
Where are they?
During development the devs continually dropped that events happening in SRO would end up in canon. Is that what all the Q-Sec stuff is about? The game's still in basically a beta, I think it's too early to roll that out.
