Is Atalanta for real?

I must say they have to be the most impressive side in Serie in a long time, they remind me of Allegri's first juve, maybe even better!

Something is seriously wrong with Juventus

I'm not a Juventus fan (Milan) but as a disciple of Serie A all my life, I've always respected and liked a strong Juve team. A strong Juventus is good for the league, good for the nazionale.

But they are falling to pieces.

They have something seriously amiss with JMedical and/or the way they train the team. 4 ACL tears is either bad luck or they are doing something wrong in training. Players seem to take forever to come back from injuries too. I know they have a lot of injuries and that is impacting results. But the truth is, the injured players are not that good and would not challenge for a place in the starting XI of most top teams.

Recruitment is abysmal. Luiz, Koop, letting Chiesa go, not signing 2 new strikers, relying on mediocre player like Weah, Arthur still draining a huge salary, bringing in an average player like Thuram to play such a key role. They've fumbled A LOT of money and a lot of opportunity cost in terms of bringing in players that could have made an impact. Ricci from Torino really stands out as a Juventus type player who they showed no interest in.

Creative players. Aside from Conceicao and Yildiz, Juventus have no-one. Yildiz is understandably inconsistent as he is young but he seems in the wrong position to me. Why is a #10 playing on the wing?

Motta, i don't know what to think yet. Juventus haven't scored or conceded a lot of goals. They seem to either defend or attack for long periods and have trouble combining the two and look bad in terms of creating chances.... and then vulnerable on the counter. Personally, I thought the way Motta wanted Chiesa out without even giving him some training sessions to form a proper view... was a big red flag. I think he didn't want a 'star' in the team or a big player who would challenge him. Just my interpretation, a gut feeling. If so, that is a bad omen about the kind of players he is going to want at the club -- mid-profile with no aura.

From the management to the training ground to the pitch and dugout... in my opinion the future for Juventus is pretty bleak right now.

Too harsh? Agree? I'm an idiot? What do you think?

Any reason why no serie a team has never made a serious move at V. Grifo?

Vincenzo Grifo (31 yrs old) is a LW who has bounced around a few teams in 1. Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga, it seems every season he plays a key role for Freiburg staying competitive and is in top 5 most assists and chances created. Guy has 176 G/A in 328 league games, am I missing something here?

Bove collapsed on the field, the match between Fiorentina vs Inter is suspended!

This is gut-wrenching, everyone immediately created a circle to cover him from the camera before he was taken by ambulance, many players crying and they comfort each other.

I pray to god he is okay..

Djuric, how?

Anyone watch Monza? Djuric today and most other days has got to be the worst striker in Serie A. Slow, terrible anticipation and poor hold up play. Watched the ball float over his head for Como’s goal, didn’t even try before it was headed home. Maldini serves up a beautifully pass to him right in front of goal 93’ and he misses the victory goal. I’m confused as to how this guy is on the pitch.

The Italian teams in Europe.

Where do you think Italian teams end up in Europe this year? I'll start.

Inter= He can very well reach the Champions League final

Atalanta= I think the maximum that Atalanta can achieve is a Champions League semi-final

Milan= I don't see Milan further away than the Champions League round of 16

Juventus= The same as Milan

Bologna= He won't make it out of the group

Lazio= He could reach the Europa League final

Roma= For Roma I won't go beyond the round of 16 of the Europa League

Fiorentina= I see a Chelsea-Fiorentina Conference League final

Tell me yours 👇

Bologna is way too awful

I don't expect them to do much but certainly not this bad. They're seemingly on track to finish with only 1 point in Champions League and that was from a match they really should've won.

Sure they lost plenty of players but they've also bought some (albeit terribly picked). How many of you actually predicted they'd be the lowest scoring side in CL? it's one thing to lose, quite another to be that bad. Like they're not even trying smh..

Serie A fans in Korea

Are there any members of the sub based in Korea? Would be pretty cool to get in touch with some fans around me. Most people seem to be Prem and La Liga fans, for somewhat obvious reasons.

Juraj Kucka’s time in AC Milan

What is your opinion on Kucka? I’m his fellow countryman and I ´m interested to hear your opinion. He also played for Parma nad Genoa but since AC is gonna meet Slovan in CL, I would like to know more about how he was viewed when he was Rossonero.
