About capturing certain generals. After almost 30 years, i finally captured Taulus in Wein campaign in an specific way. There is any other way to capture Faliel, Diablo and Randolph?
Day 10 - SONIC 3D BLAST!!
I pretty much stopped after Sonic 2 on Genesis so pretty excited to give this a try!
I recently got a crt that only accepts PAL signals, but I have a japanese Saturn. If I buy a PAL RGB scart cable for it, would it work? Some sources say yes online others say no. Wondering if someone here have experience with this?
I'm thinking about games that do not feel like they got tons of improved sequels or were in a genre that now has newer, more polished versions.
I"d nominate Dragon Force. This kind of strategy game feels really original still. Huge battles, castles to conquer and improve, magic attacks and commanders. I could go on.
Day 9 Virtua Fighter 2!!
I'm excited to finally get a chance to sit with this one
So a friend of mine recently needed to downsize their collection and sold me their saturn, but when I got it I realized it has none of the case screws. If anyone has a list of the different screws I could buy or a kit that might have all of the screws it would be greatly appreciated.
Picked up a Saroo from Aliexpress from what I thought was one of the better sellers but the cart arrived without beveled edges.
Can anyone recommend any sellers for quality Saroo cart?
My Sega Saturn has worked fine since I got it back in November. Since I got it, I've done nothing except replace the laser. Now, out of the blue, it doesn't like working 90% of the time. I'll turn it on and my OSSC will say it's getting a signal but just display a black screen. Sometimes, after messing with it for a while and unplugging + plugging things back in it'll work and will even work if I turn the console on and off again. If I leave the system off, though, it goes right back to black screen. I have no idea how to even start diagnosing this, any tips?
Hi, I have a Japanese mission stick and a Japanese Sega Saturn. I know it works fine because I tested it from the guy I bought it from. It seems to work in menus in some games but, no matter what I do, I cannot get Stellar Assault SS to recognize it. I also don't see anything in the options to activate it. Am I missing something? It's driving me crazy; any help would be very much appreciated. The main controller works fine, it just doesn't like the Mission Stick. I really only wanted it for Stellar Assault so being able to have it recognized would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
Day 8 - Scorcher!
Hi! I've been collecting on the Saturn for about 4 months and I have a small collection of games, but they're all kinda arcadey,I'm looking for a more long-term game (I have tomb raider on my wishlist), and I was wondering what games people would recommend! (I have 2 Daytona Championships because one is broken and houses my lose games, virtual fighter, Daytona / Daytona championship, a golf game)
Hi all! Just discovered Three Dirty Dwarves on the Saturn and love it! Problem I'm having is when I die and the option to continue comes up- yes or no- it starts over from the beginning even if choosing yes. Is this normal?
I'm playing on a Windows Retrobat emulator with a 360 controller if that is relevant.
Day 7 - Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3!!
I was always more of a Street Fighter guy, never even owned any MK games... but I'm kind of psyched to finally give one a shot. Lmk if this is a decent version of the game.
Just threw a snarky title on this. Beating D for the first time in about 30 years and for the first time on Saturn! I’m still glowing over this chonky white box.
Ever since seeing this old KeithJohnStack post, as well as watching Matt McMuscles’ “Wha Happun?” Videos on the subject, I’ve been REALLY wanting to dive into the niche Saturn fandom. Where do I start though? Emulators on PC? Saroo? Or Fenrir like in pic related?
