Hey I'm not from seattle at all.im from the other WA (Western Australia - Perth). Some of my favourite hip hop artists back in the day were early Macklemore and also Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Blue Scholars, Common Market and Grieves.
Was it just looking too deep into them all being from the same city or was there something special and identifiably unique about the hip from seattle back then. I ask this as a complete outside so please chat hard and let me know
Hey I’ve been learning how to DJ and need to get some time in on some CDJs.. are there open deck nights in Seattle that anyone knows of?
Smaller touring bands and tour managers based in Seattle, how do you go about renting vans for tours? Do you start tours in Seattle or do you start the tour in another city where there’s more availability for van rentals?
I’ve heard of Bandago And Greenvans, but those are based elsewhere and neither have any presence up here.
Context: I am a first time manager getting ready to book a first tour for a local band that has a great trajectory. I have 6 years of experience in entertainment business management, but this is the first time I’m trying out the artist management side.
Hey there 👋 I’m Erin from the Seattle band, Soft Eyes. We are looking for a drummer!
Influences include Lush, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Clairo, Big Thief

I have a question about some concert tickets and peoples experience with security at Climate Pledge Arena.
Okay so here's the concept: a friend of mine and I want to go to a show. It's happening near me and I'm absolutely head over heels for the opener. I am not a fan of the headliner though, and $300 for a show that I would only see half of would kind of suck. However, my best friend is super into the headliner.
If we were both to enter with tickets, mine being a floor spot and theirs being a nosebleed, and then halfway through the show traded phones and finished the show in each other's sections, would we be able to do that? I know some places won't let you do reentry from the venue but some may let you do reentry into your specified area (like to use the bathroom and stuff).
I'm not asking if it's allowed by the company. I'm asking if I did it if I could get away with it.
Yall I’ve been living in the Seattle area for like a year and I’ve been trying to find some peeps to play some music with me. Start a band. Whatever. I love every genre I’m down for whatever. Mostly Emo, punk, alt, country, and like folk or whateva. Just trynna find some peeps to vibe with. Idk maybe perform at some bars or something.

My name is Alexander E.P. (I’m male/26) and I’m looking for Seattle area musicians to play music that I’ve written and also collaborate on material going forward. Mainly looking for lead guitar and bass as I have a drummer. Here’s a link to my album LOWER which covers genres from folk rock to punk. Influences include Bob Dylan, Parquet Courts, Car Seat Headrest, Talking Heads, and Father John Misty. I have played shows as a solo act at several venues in Tacoma and with a band at Real Art for my album release concert which drew a crowd of around 75 people. I have a practice space where I’m located in the Capital Hill area. Send a message or comment if interested or you need further info!
Hey everyone. My band Fifteen Stitches has a new album out. Recently released. Love it if you all checked it out. It’s called “Beyond The Wall”

We are Dystoria, an alt rock band looking to play out of Portland. If anyone has any venue recommendations or bands we should hit up that would be super helpful. We are 18, so as well if there is any scene connected with the Universities in Seattle that would be good to know. Thank you

Hey /rSeattleMuic
I’m Jonathan, Co-Founder of M2 Labs. We’re a small but passionate team that crafts high-quality analog pedals designed to bring a touch of warmth, depth, and creativity to your sound. I'm based in Atlanta and my business partner, Nick, is currently based in Denver.
Right now, we’re on the lookout for talented artists and bands to collaborate with. We want to grow with artists who are just as excited about their craft as we are about our gear. This is more than just slapping a logo on your pedalboard—we're all about building genuine, long-term relationships that empower both sides to reach new heights.
Whether you're a seasoned player with a unique sound or a band making waves in the local scene, we’d love to connect, learn about your music, and explore how we can help amplify what you do. If that resonates, check out our artist endorsement page to learn more about the kind of partnerships we’re looking to build.
Let’s collaborate and make some noise together!
Cheers
I know this isn’t technically music, but would hate to see this ticket go to waste! I’m sure he will have LOTS of post election material lol
1 ticket for Lewis Black’s standup show tonight at Mccaw Hall at 8pm for $30. Will sell 2 tickets for $50 if interested.

What's up Seattle musicians!
My name's Nic - I'm new to the area and want to find like minded folks to collab with or even go to open mics with.
I have experience co-writing songs on acoustic guitar/piano and can harmonize with you live. I also have some business sense on how to promote songs online/make a release schedule.
Currently, I am teaching myself production (inspirations are Fred Again, 1975, BAYNK, Coldplay (older stuff), and Maribou State).
I've lived in Nashville & LA and enjoy story telling plus making people dance.
Hit me up if you'd like to connect! I have some rough demos that I can share too.
Seattle University is administering the 10th annual citywide Seattle Public Safety Survey, which is accessible at publicsafetysurvey.org from October 15th through November 30th and is available in Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, English, Korean, Oromo, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrinya and Vietnamese. The purpose of the survey is to solicit feedback on public safety and security concerns from those who live and/or work in Seattle. A report on the survey results will be provided to the Seattle Police Department to help them better understand your neighborhood’s safety and security concerns and community-police dialogues will be held in May-August 2025 to provide an opportunity for police-community engagement about the results. More information on the Seattle Public Safety Survey which is part of the Seattle Police Department’s Micro-Community Policing Plans (SPD MCPP), can be found on the SPD MCPP website.
During the annual Seattle Public Safety Survey administration period October 15-November 30, you may notice interactive signs on objects around Seattle, asking people to have a friendly chat. Using Hello Lamp Post, an innovative engagement platform that makes public spaces interactive, the signs provide an opportunity to access and ask questions about the survey. To see where the interactive signs are located, see the Seattle map for the sign locations. To ask questions and access the survey here, see: Hello Seattle Online.
Please circulate this information to your friends, family, co-workers and community members and feel free to post the information on your social media. Here is a link to access the 2024 Seattle Public Safety Survey flyers in all 11 languages. Public safety and security are community concerns.
