Hey, I’m Erin from Soft Eyes! Influences are My Bloody Valentine, Lush, Sonic Youth, SP, lots more.
This one’s gonna be on the upcoming EP, “Wake Up, You’re Dreaming”
Enjoy!
anyone out here in the scene? my friend and i created a duo and we’re looking for more collectives and trying to meet some new people. we make all sorts of different sounds from synth to darkwave but we just released our first single.
Moving to the area this summer and always like hearing about peoples favorite spots. I’m into folk and metal music but down to check out anything!
The Senator by Middle Names. Hope you dig.
After posting here a year ago asking about hard music in Seattle, I'm thrilled to find out about a new Seattle-based label/collective for hard techno: Substrate Techno!
They are having Kloud play at Substation next Friday, with the opener, Northern Cold, being one of Substrate's resident DJs.
So pumped!
The The us playing tonight at the Paramount at 8:30. Unfortunately, my mom is sick and we aren’t able to go anymore.
Selling 2 tickets for $30 each. Mez12, Row F, Seats 5&6
Have an extra ticket to tonight's show. DM if interested
I'm excited for Fit For An Autopsy at El Corazon this Wednesday. "Doors at 530, show starts at 6:30," so when does the show ACTUALLY start? Are there openers? When does the show end? Is the scene emo hipsters, old school (ie old) metal heads, normies in polo shirts? Will there actually be a crowd on a Wednesday?
Any advice is appreciated!
I want to check out the adult program at a local School of Rock. I live pretty close to the Greenwood, Lynnwood and Bellevue locations. Does anyone have experience with any of these programs? Information on cost? Thanks in advance!
Toki Toyokazu, recently crowned Top 5 in the World Elvis Ultimate Tribute Artist at the House of the King (Graceland), makes his long-awaited return to Seattle. This time he’s putting on two shows!
The first is an all-ages show on Friday, November 8th at 7PM (Doors at 6PM) at Sleight of Hands Tasting Room in SODO. The second show is 21+ on Sunday, November 10th at 7PM (Doors at 6PM) at Jules Maes Saloon in Georgetown.
Greetings from the east side! Here's a playlist we put together to capture what's happening out in Spokane. We have a growing all-ages DIY scene with great shows happening at multiple venues. While this is not an exhaustive list of everything going on here, it is a collection of some of our favorite tracks from the artists we're into. The playlist title and artwork pays homage to the "This Is Boston, Not L.A." compilation, one of the all-time classic snapshots of a scene. Check it out:

I have 2 tickets to Maggie Rogers tonight @ Climate Pledge. I just want them to get used so selling for $10 each. TM won't let me resell for less than $24 so posting here if anyone is interested!
This feels like victory.
Physical Media. Live like it's 1991.
We started making this record last year, we were between drummers so we programmed the tracks and sent them to a professional on Fivr. He turned them into amazing human drumming noises and we used them to build up our record measure by measure.
We recorded everything in our noisy practice space in Frelard, bass and guitars using modern VSTs, vocals on Sunday mornings when everyone else was hungover.
It sounds, we think, fucking great.
It's streaming here:

Hope you like it. Either way more is coming soon.

We have been a band for 2 years and practice one night per week in sodo. We write songs together and have about 10 originals so far, with more being worked on all the time. We try to play shows every 1-3 months (depends on our schedules) and always get a decent crowd with venues like Substation, Chop Suey, and Sunset Tavern asking us to play again in the future (we are headlining Chop Suey in January). We also like to spend time at practice just jamming out for fun too. We have plans to get into the studio to record a few singles in the nearish future.
Our inspiration bands are moon duo, king gizz, ride, and wand. Our EP can be found here (note our newer stuff is moving more towards psych-rock/shoegaze than this, but gives you an idea): https://open.spotify.com/album/1lYEKFSYXUno9OKBz4J7yN?si=QS7f2zoASqiRHmAmdg6SEA
We are looking for a bassist who wants to commit to writing music with us, playing shows, and becoming one of the band! We are a split of women and men and welcome anyone to reach out if you think this sounds like something you'd be down for!
I’m 14yo trying to start a punk band and I have no fucking idea where to start, I’m looking for tips or if anyone at all rly is interested in joining (I know not likely) hit me up. But I’m more so just looking for advice on where to start
Looking for tube amp technician in Seattle/Everett area. Will be grateful for any leads or recommendations!
I’m not sure how to write this out so sorry if it’s a ramble.
Hello all, my name is David. I’m 19 and looking to start a band or even just jam. I started with the violin as a kid, and moved to singing and guitar more recently.
At the moment I’m listening/playing rock music (among other things), like The Doors, Queen, Bowie. But I switch styles and my influences change often so I can vibe with anything. I am hoping to stay away from a particular genre or set vision. The goal of this project is to carefully craft/violently smash together a bunch of different genres, personalities, and experiences to create something new.
Skills and knowledge don’t matter anyone is welcome (seriously). It doesn’t matter what instrument you play, if we end up with 6 guitars and a tuba we’ll just figure it out. And not to reveal my inflated ego this early but I fancy myself an artistic mind, and I’m not here looking for rockstars just some like-minded individuals who wanna express, create, contemplate, play.
I have tickets to give away and sell for the Glasses Malone show at the Skylark Cafe TONIGHT. Doors are at 7 music starts at 8pm.
