Hello there, I am a bassist, singer, and songwriter (M, in highschool (I would prefer not to give my age)). I've been playing bass for half a year, and it's quickly become my main instrument (I got a 4 string bass), but I've been singing for years (just casual karaoke, I'm not actually all that great), along with making music. My main inspirations for music are Glass Beach, Sungazer, and Radiohead, but I'll play any genre of rock / metal / jazz (but I can only guarantee any sort of quality with rock).

I've tried playing music with other people from my highschool, but they were a guitarist and don't seem too passionate about music, nor do they seem to want to play more with me (even though he convinced me to learn Green Day songs (I don't listen to Green Day) and we both had fun but I don't see us meeting up again). Highschooler issues incoming, but nobody in my school is interested in music, at least not like I am, which makes playing with others (something I desperately want to do) challenging, to the point of impossibility.

I'm not quite sure logistically how everything would work out, but if there's anyone interested I'd put in the effort to make it work! Whether it be to meet up somewhere and just jam, or make a song, I just really want to play music with other people passionate about it. I really enjoy music for complex harmonies and rhythms (which is why I put post-mathrock in the title of this post), but I'm less into specific melodic stuff and I'm not the best at deciphering the meaning of lyrics. I'm also generally confused about what genre I play / make music in, so I'll try to play with you, whatever that may be.

Seattle band RUB is looking for a keyboard player/backup vocalist. Women and folks in the BIPOC community heavily encouraged to apply, but we also welcome others to apply, as finding the right fit is most important. We have been a band since 2022, and since then have played many festivals including Bumbershoot, Bite of Seattle, and Ballard Seafood Fest. i don't have a huge audience, so preferably not venues that are ticketed only. i'm used to a lot of wineries, restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, galleries, etc, but i'm open to anything!

Spouse is looking to book a musician (soloist or group) to play romantic music over dinner at a private club (~100 for dinner and drinks) in the north end around Kenmore on 2/14 from 5:30-8:30pm, breaks as needed. Budget is around $500-550.

I have tickets for a concert at nectar and sprung for a booth to have a guaranteed place to sit. How many people will fit there (or do they have a fixed capacity for each booth?)

There isn't any info on the tickets and they never answer the phone + VM is full.

 been in love with music all my life and been wanting to create a group since I was 11 (after seeing OF on "Adult Swim" r ) . Odd Future, Brockhampton and even The Internet set the blueprint for kids like us and every day that goes by I still find myself inspired daily and wonder what life would be like just creating art, making connections and seeing the world. I was absolutely hypnotized with how crazy that guitarist’s solo was ending their song ‘Do it To Me’. Amazing skills!!!

Does anyone have a video/clip of Midnight High’s final song guitar solo when they ended their set helping open for Tinsley @ Neumos this past Thursday? Not sure if anyone managed to get a video of them but holy cow I just want to listen to it again.

Also shout out to waltzerr, Tinsley, and Lovely Colours who also played! This was the best concert I’ve ever been to!
