I remember a sot clip from a few years ago where some dudes are sailing next to an enemy ship and the enemy ship glides up a rock and lands on top of them. Anyone got the link or know where I can find it?

My son saw their carving and wanted to replicate (as best he could at 11).
Meanwhile, I get the spoils of old bay pumpkin seeds for helping cut the top and scrape the inside.
Enjoy Gouls and Glory this weekend! See you on the seas!!
is there anything stopping you from doing it while under the BBs crew?
FIX FOUND!!!!! Go into settings, select your audio output device, and disable sound ehancement!
It also decreases sound quality and skyrockets volume on all other programs too.
If there's no fix to the poor audio quality that's fine, but I gotta be able to fix the volume. I normally have a headphone volume of 6 (which is quite quiet) but when I press 'start' on Sea of Thieves, the music is audible with the headphones off and on the desk. I'm using a bluetooth headset, disabled all audio input devices but the built in laptop mic array, and disabled all audio output devices but my headphones (which helped on my old computer) but it didn't help at all this time.
Edit: Forgot to add, audio quality and volume is fine when I open Sea of Thieves. It's just when I press "start" that the audio gets jacked up. And also I have the game installed with Steam.
hello fellow landlubbers, I was just wondering what all of your favorite fishing spots are and if i sail up to a fortress but dont complete it, will different fish show up? thanks in advance for your comments! yarr
Happy Halloween Ye Scallywags!
I have been playing for a while but the prospect of playing HG has been something put on the back burner.
I started to get over that and have done quite a bit of solo sloop hg.
Has anyone else had the issue of players just going for the ram and trying to board and tdm?
Kinda confused on what the strat is in their eyes or if it’s actually something that works out well
Hi Guys,
Me and my Friend wanted to play Sea of Thieves together but now his Game says he's on a wrong version, but as it looks there are no updates in the Microsoft Store. Does anybody of you guys know an solution to this problem
I aprreciate every answer!
I feel like im mentally disabled since im still telling myself this is on me.
This is my third time trying to purchase something.
I bought the game in Steam, linked my xbox, now again i bought stuff from Steam.
Plunder pass and coins is in my inventory, how do i redeem it ?
Tried loging on and off for about 5 times.
Played for an hour.
Sent steam support ticket, they sent me to Rare .
Rare isn't responding (40ish hours passed)
I got refunds the past 2 times, are you really telling me they don't want the money?
A friend of mine laserd these for me and i love them 😮💨
I purchased sea of thieves some months ago on my PlayStation then last night i tried to redownload it and its trying to make me purchase it for some reason- there is a lock on it and all i went to try and restore licenses however its only trying to do that for games i have downloaded only i dont know what to do
Me n my buddy spent 3 hours farming rituals. Unbeknownst to us, they changed it so you can no longer turn in if a ship is anywhere near reapers. Que EVERY SINGLE SHIP IN TJE GAME coming to us over and over. We 2 v 3 sink a brig, another ones there and we now have to fight them, and by the time we sink them, the original brig has sailed all the way back after repawning, and NOW, another two different ships are on us, a sloop and a brig. I solo team wipe the new brig 1 v3 TWICE, while my buddy deals with the sloop, but that doesn't deal with the other brig, AND the second brig that also respawned and sailed back. HOW THE HELL ARE YOJ EVER SUPPOSED TO TURN IN, if all an enemy shop needs to do to prevent you is simply "be nearby"
i have just downloaded sot for the first time and this error popped up, i have already tried many different things, such as updating drivers, reinstalling EAC, reinstalling the entire game to get a new version of EAC but nothing solved it. I can't turn off the kernel mode hardware enforced stack protection since my cpu doesn't support it altho i have windows 11

Season 14 - State of Play Update 2
As shared in our recent Season 14 update, the team disabled a number of features in order to protect players from high-impact issues and for the team to work on improving the quality bar. With this hotfix, crouching is once again available. The Known Issues section identifies issues that will be addressed in future updates.
Players will once again be able to switch their stance from standing to a low crouch, slowing their movement, hiding them from some nearby enemy threats, concealing their player name and generally making them stealthier for the purposes of sneaking around.
Crouched players will be harder to hit as they can duck shots in combat and will be braced against knockback, reducing its effect.
Players will once again be prevented from walking directly through enemy threats.
Players are now prevented from shooting others through solid surfaces on the ship such as the deck.
Rowboats discovered washed up on islands or those which become beached are now much easier to push back into the sea, and should no longer become stuck and unusable.
All players will now have access to the Burning Blade’s Armoury once the ship is controlled by a crew.
Unlockable disguises will no longer be granted when completing part of the unlock criteria, and will now require the full set of conditions to be met.
Players must now complete the Found You Commendation before being awarded the Shadow Tide Tattoo.
The Enticing Explosion Commendation now progresses when attaching a Lure Dart to a barrel-wielding Skeleton or directly to the held barrel itself.
Players attempting to grapple an item while climbing into a cannon will now find the item is placed back on the ground. Players fired out of a cannon, however, are not prevented from grappling a nearby item if they can do so quickly enough. The team will continue to monitor this technique from a game balance perspective and address it in the future if necessary.
Players attempting to grapple each other at the same time should no longer find they are flung across the sea.
Players attempting to crouch after being fired from a cannon will no longer be able to modify their trajectory while in the air.
Players attempting to crouch prior to climbing into a cannon will now continue to be damageable when leaving the cannon.
Players attempting to crouch after falling from a great height will now be able to crouch much more quickly, but will continue to suffer the hindering effects of fall damage while crouched.

So let’s say I have a gold hoarder emissary flag up, can I still sell everything to the sovereigns and continue to raise the grade of the emissary flag? Or do you have to sell specifically to the gold hoarder himself?
Ok so I did the Maiden Voyage and ran about the outpost, meeting all the different representatives.
But can someone give me a few lines on how to actually play the game. I'm in safer seas just to learn mechanics, like how to shoot myself from a cannon, how to dig up treasure chests etc.
I kind know I should be trying to rank up with trading companies but I've no idea how, their representatives didn't offer me missions or anything and my map table on my sloop has no missions on like like the pirate lord said they should.
I found some treasure maps to grab on a notice board, but once I'd picked up a treasure I couldn't put it down and I have no idea where to take it to sell it either.
I'm very confused on how to actually play? I've no idea how to try to sneak (is there a stealth mode or just trying to avoid being seen?)
I feel the Maiden Voyage really didn't leave me with any idea on how to actually play the game, nor did it explain about reputation, how to get it, I think there are different types etc.
Not even a hint that I need to save to get my own ship etc.
I know the main game is PvP on the high seas but I hate just dying repeatedly which I know will happen to my totally unprepared and unskilled self if I start there.
Any good guide or advice? I've watch a couple of beginners guides on youtube but even they aren't a beginners guides, they're like tips on how to do things.
I watched one guy stow away on a ship and then blow it up as they had kegs, but I've no idea why (apart from to mess with people) he didn't seem to make off with treasure!
So please just a hint like go to this table select this thing, do the mission, for a pve taste, any hints? Or point me to a discord which is new player friendly?
I'm not even sure how to log out of the game, I presume I have to turn stuff in for it to persist from one play session to another? Do ship upgrades carry over between play sessions?
Thx ks for the better msg >First of all my english typo is not the best. More on the speaking side.
Start of the day seeing 2 reapers doing fotd stacking both gali. me Solo sloop I decide to bom 1 of the ship that has all the loot 6 kegs on a rowboat big explosion. They didn't know what happend. For some reason the other reaper didn't grab all the loot in the water. So I scoop as mutch as possible sadly 1 person start spaming enemy here. I got racked with holes everywhere on my ship but survive with some of the loot. So I got myself the thief title.
New server same plan fotd sadly rowboat always get stuck on island so I couldn't find one in time. So I decide to keg the front of my ship to blow there ship sadly i shot to early. I lost the fight. 1 person salt emoted me. It's business now. I came back and keep them busy trying to steal the inportend chest. And it was just a cat a mouse game luckily a duo reaper sloops show up and they start panicking. Race to reaper hideout me and the reaper sloop not sure if they were friendly and first. Vs the brig we won at the end and the sloop were friendly and gave the rest of the loot that the brig didn't sold. The brig shows up again and I was like we sold evrything they drop sails up and was like. what you want from me. And they show a map they hide the chest of fortune they gave it to me and left.
After that the reaper duo and i complete my first fotd i never done it pirate legend and 400+ hours xd Also I notice that someone dig up the key of the siron song. I was missing 4 more chest opening luckily I spawn next the the chest island waiting for them to show up oh no a brig. I got on board took the key up the crownest waiting for them to grab the chest and havic dive on top on them to put the key in. Quick thx you on the mic and laugh my way back to my mermaid. They send me a funny msg you sneaky ninja now my wife have to sleep on the cough because she didn't pay attention to boarder xd we had a fun chat at the end island and wave goodbye.
My friend told me about an idea for a sea of thieves tall tale which would essentially be the odyssey (Its a Greek mythology story thing). At first I didn't think it would fit, but after a while of reading and looking into it I thought "how cool would it be to navigate a narrow straight with a large monster on one side and a whirlpool on the other. What are your guys thoughts?
Haven't been playing long. Thought I would check out one of those underwater Siren Shrines. I didnt really get very far with it because I got ganked by another player. The ship parked up top is obviously a pretty big indicator someone is down below and vulnerable. What is the best strategy there? Also if my ship sinks or is sunk and I have treasure stashed in the mermaid shrine, when I collect it will the mermaids find wherever the location of the newly spawned ship is to give my loot back?
EDIT TO SAY: Thank you for all the very helpful tips and advice. I'll take it all on board for next time I try one.
haven’t played in quite a while but i expect there are minor map changes, will there ever be map revamps or big expansions, in the coming future?
I just accidently dismantled my sloop that ive worked so hard on with alot of milestones...
i pledged my ship to a guild and i didnt know what it ment so i tried to unpledge my ship and hit dismantle thinking it would remove my ship from the guild...i feel so stupid.
