I won't bore you with my cowlick sob story. I'm just sick of them chopping it short after saying "don't worry I'll blend it." If you feel my pain or know someone who does, please help. Thank you
What’s the special event that’s going on in old town that has all the roads closed?
Hey all… my wife, 3 year old girl and I just bought a house! We’re by Shea and Via Linda. We’re from NYC and are paranoid we won’t find good authentic ethnic food. I’ve already sort of given up on finding bagels and pizza (Bagelfeld and Via Della Slice/Bianco are ok), but can we fire off some other exotic cuisines here? Willing to go into Phoenix or 20-30 min in any direction.
Indian? Dim Sum? Dumplings? Ramen? Hawaiian? Fried chicken? Falafel?
Some places we’ve found and liked for reference; El Encanto, Otro, Little Ms. BBQ, Persian Room, Karsens Grill….
Thanks!
FLW at the 101 is such a cluster. Can’t imagine what it’s going to be like next week during the WM Open.
A friend of mine and I (both women) will be in Scottsdale for Galentines weekend. We are looking for some nice bars/lounges for 40+ women. We are looking for a place with a nice vibe where we can mingle and maybe dance.
What else should we do while in town? Hiking? Shopping?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Anyone going to the WMO next week and want to do me a favor? Happy to tip. Thank you regardless!
If anyone is looking for a hairstylist I beg you look out for the collective studio. I cant even describe the hell that is there. Please send good blonde specialist no matter the price
Hi everyone! I’m needing to take my cat to the vet as I’ve noticed he might be having some dental issues. I used to take him to the Petsmart off of Frank Lloyd but they shut down the Petsmart vets back in december :( i’ve been looking for a new affordable vet as I am a college student.
any recommendations are welcome, preferably in the northern scottsdale area. Thank you!
My parents are moving to the area They are in their 70s What are the best luxury apartments in Old Town? Quiet and well maintained?
I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease and have subclinical hypothyroidism. I am looking for an endocrinologist who is good with thyroid issues. I was told to see a functional medicine doctor. I’d kind of prefer a MD but I’m really open to either at this point.
Hey everyone! I’m looking to make some extra cash this weekend and thought I’d post on here. I’m a hard worker and can help with anything around the house or even with moving (I’ve got a truck, so no big stuff is a problem!). If you need a hand with anything, feel free to comment or DM me. Appreciate it—thanks so much!
I can provide references!
Hi all, does anyone have any idea what is being built behind the gas station on Frank Lloyd next to xpel? Looks like a bunch of small parking garages but not sure, was hoping someone can help. TIA.
Are there any local or regional nurseries here for flowers and landscaping plants? I don’t find munch when I search other than a couple of locations over in Phoenix. Looking for something other than a Home Depot or a Lowe’s garden center.
Looking to get out of my 9-5 and buy a business.
Also my dad is 65, his father owned a painting/wallpaper business, and he owned a business. Since covid, he let his business die on the vine. Maybe i feel guilty for not taking the family business, maybe I am frustrated he got nothing for it and didnt realize the value of his customer list for 30+ years
Hey everyone. My gf and I will be traveling mid February for around a week and she really wants to go to Scottsdale. I’m open to it but I don’t know much about the city and I’ve never been. Would love to hear some insight on things to do and places to check out.
We are in our mid 20’s and coming from Canada. I love fun activities like atv/4x4, big into cars, love food, she wants to go horseback riding. Feel free to ask any questions.
I’d like to to come down to your beautiful city i’d just love to learn more about it and what to expect.
Thank you
The City of Scottsdale finally opened the Chaparral Road pedestrian and bike underpass today. Was worth the wait! Ready for the weekend.
I’m looking for a cocktail bar/speak easy that has a cozy warm atmosphere, comfy couches, and is intimate for conversation. TIA!
Thanks!
Hi, my birthday is on the 13th but I'm celebrating with friends in Sat the 15th, we are going to Savage Men Male Revue in Scottsdale, but since 98% will be my female friends I'd like for my male friends to be able to join us after the event but dont want to go to bars. So looking for ideas for that night after 10pm that can still be fun without having to go to a bar. Can be in any surrounding cities as well. Thank you 😊

Found this cat on the street, I took her home and I got her food and a litter box. She’s so sweet and playful but I can’t keep her because my roommate is allergic to cats. I’m willing to give the litter box, 2 bowls and the rest of her food for free.
Hi! Does anyone have any recommendations for cute restaurants to have a baby shower at?
Hi. Need a cleaner for a large apartment.
My husband toddler and I are headed down this weekend. What is the weather like? Trying to pack light, long sleeve, t shirt? layers? Thanks for any tips!
Im looking to go to baseball (ideally not major league) that has amenities such as food drink etc. I heard about the complex league but sounds like there’s no amenities. Could anyone recommend anything nearby.
Has anyone else been like harassed by these Verizon wireless door to door salesmen lately? They’ve been to our place like 6 times in the last few months. The same guy came twice yesterday and once again today. I’m not sure if this is a legitimate salesman at this point or someone casing out houses to see when people are home. Has anyone else had these same problems?
It just seems like very aggressive sales tactics that I would assume are somewhat pointless. Like why keep knocking the same houses that denied you or aren’t home? This is why my Gaurd has been a bit raised.
Hey all! Want to try rattlesnake for the first time. Any suggestions in the Scottsdale area?
I’m looking for a low-end handyman, NOT a contractor.
Hoping:
-Fluent in English
-Reasonably priced
-Solo operation, not a crew
A lot of people are calling themselves “handyman” but are really contractors charging three times as much and wanting big remodeling jobs, not small repair jobs. They don’t want to fix a faucet for $30 – they want to remodel your bathroom for $3000. I don’t want that. I just want a guy who can fix a leaky faucet or replace a basic light fixture.
It would be great if, besides a name and number, you could add a sentence of opinion. Like “Slow, but very meticulous” or “Can’t do heavy work, but very expert with electrical.”
Any recommendations?
I'm looking to buy a gaming PC for my friend, with similar/same components as my PC. I paid around CAD$2600 or USD$1800 for mine up in Canada, but every place I call is giving me quotes of USD$2500+ for what is essentially an identical computer. If anyone knows a good affordable PC builder I would love to check them out.
