I'm dying laughing in my geometry class because my teacher made 4 mistakes and anytime I try to help he either gets it wrong again or just modifies the question to make him right.

After many years of working different sales positions, and working with Children I have decided I need a stable, higher income career.. I'm tired of catering to people, being treated as a 'lesser' adult and being underpaid. I have always been interested in biology and health. I was toying with the idea of becoming a nutritionist, but the 4+yrs of school in another city with small children does not seem feasible I started looking and got excited about Massage Therapy There are two schools in my area. Both accredited Trios Conestoga. Trios is often regarded as a sub par school, with mixed reviews... with the worst directed at massage therapy. Conestoga is currently undergoing lawsuits and is under fire for accepting an obscene number of international students WHAT DO I DO I need an adultier adult. I'm lost I'm tired and confused Any advice welcome

My school doesn't make special classes for the autistic kids. They are often treated badly by one specific teacher, the PE teacher. He has yelled at one multiple times in front of the entire class when the student didn't do anything wrong. Once the student forgot to change shoes, and the other time he LITERALLY SAT DOWN which we were supposed to do and made him sit out the rest of the class (when it just started).

This same teacher has also shown concerns involving pedophelia, but we haven't gotten enough proof to report him. For the treating autistic kids badly, I have asked my dad to report him and he said that it won't matter because I'm not autistic, which is a bad reason but sadly seems accurate. Our PE teacher also can be rude to regular students, for fair reasons but not fully. Like he told me I was doing situps wrong when everyone was, and I had my bag on my lap but kept on insisting I was on my phone (I wasn't).

If you have any advice for how to get him fired or anything, I would greatly appreciate that & thank you for your time

at my school, last year (may 2023) a camera was found in a locked swim locker room locker (facing my locker) and the footage of me on that device was used to arrest and charge the track coach who had placed the camera there (come to find out he had been doing it for 5+ years and there were roughly 18 other victims). the sentencing is now next month. the school tried their best last year to support me through everything and a lot of my classes were canceled. but now this year there is a lack of support as people want me to “just move on”. now all they do is occasionally bring in dogs to search locker rooms and zip tie unused lockers (because people can’t cut the tie and replace it apparently). don’t get me wrong i appreciate the effort but it never should have happened. that coach was a head swim coach years prior and was reported numerous times for making girls uncomfortable, being a poor role model, being too touchy, etc etc. yet the school athletic director did nothing and told the girls that “you are just saying that because you don’t like him as a coach “. yet coincidentally that same year he was fired from school coaching and our local city swim team. here’s where the school really failed, they brought him back as the track teams coach who led the swim practices. many girls on track have reported him too. the school is of course denying that reports were ever made to cover themselves. now this year (april 2024) two teachers were fired for sending nudes to a (he was 18) student (potentially have sex with him as well) and another teacher was fired for knowing about the situation and not reporting it. that’s three staff members in under a year having direct sexual related misconduct with students. the system is failing.

If the event happened 2 years ago ( knife in school ) they found out recently through a photo will I still get expelled ( got suspended twice alrasdy this year ket in school and caught with numerous vapes

Okay so first of all when my parents were taking my report card at school I was just at home waiting for them. But then when they came back home they wanted to "talk". "You're not on the honors list anymore." said my mom. I was shocked. And of course, I asked why. They told me that a teacher didn't like my attitude so they failed me for my conduct grade. I was shocked because I'm sure for myself that I never disrespected any teacher. So I asked which teacher. They told me it was my English teacher. My parents said that my English teacher said that we were cursing in class and weren't paying attention and were very loud. I was utterly shocked because I NEVER as in NEVER cursed during classes. I know for myself that I curse as an expression sometimes but I never curse when there are teachers because I don't want them to think I'm disrespecting them. I was so confused. Then next it was because I don't "participate" in class. Oh please, there are only literally 3 teachers who discuss and teach while the others do nothing and just give us a pack of activities! Just check the CCTV and see that I listened and participated during classes, especially science. But of course, my parents didn't believe me and told me to apologize to my adviser and English teacher, like?? My gosh, how is it my fault??

I am a student at a public middle school in the US. Additionally, I have generalized anxiety disorder and clinical depression in which I have a 504 plan for. In said plan, it states I can listen to music through my headphones which I tend to do especially if in one of my classes there is a substitute because the lack of routine can be stressful and anxiety inducing. During my English class we had a sub and I was drawing on my fingers and had got some graphite on the desk when I layed my hand down. When I noticed, I erased it in the shape of a star with the intent of erasing it all by the end of class. The girl beside me, "B" (who I don't get along with) had saw this and went to the sub and informed her that I was "drawing devil symbols on the desk". For background information I live right in the middle of the Bible belt as a non Christian so stuff like this happened a lot. This sub, "Mrs. S" came up to me with a can cleaner and paper towels and slammed them down on my desk which was very loud and hurt my ears quite a bit even with earbuds and began yelling at me to clean it off immediately. At this point she noticed my phone which was laying face down on my desk and practically screamed "And you aren't supposed to have this, you know what? It's mine now!" Then pulled my phone away, pulling the earbuds from my ears causing pain a ringing for a good few hours and almost broke my earbuds. In response I pulled it out of her hands and very plainly stated that she will not take my phone and put it in my pocket. She replied with "Yes I will, hand it over, then told another student to call the office to come get me. I told her I need it and it's in my 504 plan and she told me I was lying and refused to believe me. I then was escorted out by the vice principal and had to staying her office for the remainder of the class period and was informed that I'm in the wrong because I was disrespectful to an adult. This is a frequent sub for that class and it is guaranteed that I will see her again. What can I do about this now and what should I do from this point on? It's been about two weeks since the situation.

hello, I'm currently a grade 12 student. just curious if pagdating sa college mas better ba yung quality ng education sa private or sa public? since nasa province ako, idk really know.

I am making this post as spite of a punishment I got in year 7 that was unfairly treated. Turns out most of the education system does this (australia) because they dont want to do the extra work to actually handle it.

In year 7 I was in my tech class and a kid grabbed my laptop to search... naughty things to embarress me. I tried to grab it from around him but then he put me in a headlock and slammed me into the wall, cracking the wood in/on the wall and leaving me unconcious for about 3 seconds.

Funny part is that both of us got suspended, and to my knowlage the other kid was not talked to or given any other punishment. Another one is that I acidentily hit (I flinched and hit them) someone and they were friends with a ton of year 11's and stuff. They told their year 11 friends and they tried to jump me and they started a riot which required the principle to come down and handle it. Yet the school did almost nothing before that and they knew it wasnt going to get better.

What are your thoughts?

For me it's waking up early and going to exams...
