Any suggestions for a new musical artist in town?

Anyone remember the name?

Measure K is a sneakily written ballot initiative, and deserves a "no" vote.

Outwardly, the measure would allow one cannabis retail store to open up in Sausalito, with some pretty good safeguards.

Secretly, the measure would ONLY allow one particular company to operate, run by Otter Brands whose owner actually wrote the measure.

It has language saying that it must have a Sausalito owner, already operate a retail store, AND have spoken at past city council meetings. Barring time machines, Otter Brands is the only company that could qualify.

I'd be happy with a store in Sausalito, but this is a misuse of the initiative process.

This is probably a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knows how one could retrieve a phone that has fallen into Richardson Bay. I dropped my phone into the bay this morning (~11 AM to 12 PM) while I was kayaking around the docks off of Sausalito Beach. I knew I shouldn't have had my phone out at that specific time but accidents happen so it flew out of my pocket and into the water.

I've already come to the conclusion that it is lost forever but hoping that I might get SOMETHING by posting this here.

Looking at the areas of Sausalito. Just how miserable is the area on the hillside opposite of the Golden Gate? It's it really that much colder and windier than other parts of town?

Hello Sausalito! I’m looking for some insight. I am moving my small family to the Bay Area this summer, and one of my kiddos is starting kindergarten. We are very seriously considering living in Sausalito (vs SF proper), but are worried about the school situation. What is up with the Sausalito school merger? Are any Willow Creek families going to keep sending their kids to public school after the unification? What does everyone think: will it be a good school system when all is said and done? Would love the perspective of people actually living there.

My wife and I are moving to Sausalito in a month, we both have jobs in downtown SF. What's the best way to commute to downtown SF from Sausalito?

I went to Sausalito yesterday and parked my car in the parking lot. Tried to pay with my credit card at the pay machine but it didnt work out. So I put $10 cash in for a $3 parking but no money was returned. Then I saw there was a paper sign attached to the machine and said "No exchange no return". So I went to the visitor reception place and the lady told me I had to go to the police station to do it. Obviously I'm not the first person having this kind of the problem. Nobody was in the police station in the weekend so I called the number on the receipt today. The guy on the call said there was no way to handle this.

So people think: how much money have they received from people who ran into the same problem EVERYDAY? It can be a lot of money!! And all these money go to the city for no reason!
