Sasha Grey is an American actress, model, writer, musician, and former pornographic film actress. She gained notoriety in the adult film industry and won several awards for her work between 2007 and 2010, including the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2008. However, she left the industry in 2009 at the age of 21. In 2023, she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame

After leaving the adult film industry, she transitioned into mainstream entertainment and other creative pursuits. She made her feature film debut in 2009 as the lead in Steven Soderbergh's film "The Girlfriend Experience."
