Has anyone else been getting texts pretty much every day this week about short outages (about two hours each day) during the work day?
I don’t work from home, so I’ve not been at home when this happens, but they sound like they keep coming to fix something every day.
I’m looking to start learning Spanish and would love some recommendations for affordable classes or tutoring options in Santa Clara. I'm interested in taking classes either in a group or individually. I’m also open to lessons or language practice with native speakers. If anyone is interested in a language exchange, I’d be up for that as well. Please let me know if you know of any individuals who might fit the bill.
Hey Prius Owners!
We all know dealership maintenance can get pricey. Instead of giving your hard-earned money to the big guys, why not support a community mechanic? I’m a DIY mechanic based in Santa Clara who treats every car like family. I provide reliable, thorough maintenance specifically for 3rd Gen (2010-2015) Toyota Prius to keep your car running for hundreds of thousands of miles.

People make mistakes, but given the cutthroat nature of her campaign, it’s not a good look. I don’t want someone like this representing our district.

Booked it months ago… ugh.
Hi! I’m seeking advice on the best place to find an a month to month furnished rental in this area or in San Jose. I tried a few Facebook groups and everyone I spoke to was trying to get me to pay 100$ before even sending an application. My guess is spam.
I’ve checked out furnished finder which has some viable options. Airbnb and VRBO have wild prices. Anyway would love if anyone has groups they recommend or a building they know of that’s flexible….anything. I’m trying to move in on the weekend of 11/8
Thank you!
I’ve been renting this beautiful 1-bed, 1-bath apartment for about four months, and love it here! Located on the peaceful third floor, this unit offers stunning views of the trees and creek, just a 5-minute walk to local shops, restaurants, parks, and a scenic trail for running and staying active. In-unit laundry, efficient AC, and exceptionally affordable electricity bills and other amenities as well!
I’m sadly moving due to losing my job but am offering half off the first month’s rent to the new leaseholder as a bonus! Current price is $2919 per month.
Please reach out if interested—I'd love to find someone who will enjoy this space as much as I have!
I have a friend looking for a 1 bedroom apartment or a studio in Santa Clara, His budget is limited. He does not make too much money. Any suggestions would be welcome.
I have a very clean record, not even a traffic ticket.
I was pulled over for “weaving” even though my Tesla would have warned me if I was swirling or crossing lanes.
My right wheel touched the white lane marker once (my car beeped) and immediately corrected it.
I was also driving 65mph on HW 101.
I don’t feel that they have a strong case against me and really want the case dismissed.
Would anyone know a good DUI lawyer who can get cases dismissed?
I went there this morning with a pickup load of junk, but they said it wasn't open to the public and that I needed either a commercial job ID or a "free dump day appointment." The guy said I could come back on Monday, but now I'm not sure if that meant that it's open to the public then, of if I still need to make some kind of appointment. Their website just says "open to the public", and there's no phone support till Monday.
I am moving in tomorrow. I scheduled the SVP to start service today. It’s 8pm and so far no emails indicating that’s it’s been completed. The check status website doesn’t even work. Do I have to wait until midnight?
Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well. I moved to Santa Clara in July for work and lost my job last week. I am unsure of when I will find another position that can pay my rent so I am looking for someone to take over my lease. It is a one-bedroom with balcony facing a trail/creek and really nice neighborhood with reasonable prices. How do you recommend I advertise it? Here or what other platforms? Paying the 2 months extra fee on top of my one month of notice is a huge financial burden and it's making me nervous. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance
Anyone have recommendations for a massage therapist ?
Hey guys, does anyone know some good flat places to skate? I usually only have time to skateboard later in the day in the evening, or often at night, so being lit would be a bonus. Empty parking lots or stuff like that. Does anyone know any good spots like that where noise won't be an issue? Thanks.
Hi everyone, I am looking for recommendation for a 2b apartment in Santa Clara. I am keen on these 2 units:
- Park Kiely
- Spring Creek
Any other recommendation of apartment that are around that vicinity (need to be close to bus route 23) and similar with these price range? And also are both electricity supplied by SVP?
Any recommendations for a legit therapeutic massage therapist ? Asking for a buddy not on Reddit. Male preferred.
To folks who have changed their names through marriage before, how did you fill out the new name section on the marriage license application? Did you leave the parts blank where the name would not be changed, or fill it explicitly with the same current names?
I plan on changing my last name only. Should I leave the middle name section blank or write in my current legal middle name there to be explicit?
Have tried to Google search like crazy about this but doesn’t seem to come up.
