Union Square did it first

Hi guys! I just wanted to share something really heartwarming I saw at Union Square on black friday. A group of people was handing out balloons with cool, inspiring phrases, which made me (and hopefully others) to think about what actually matters - stuff that make you happy .. It was such a nice break from all this shopping craziness!

They also had this cool thing where they give u a balloon to write on, so you write your worries and what bothers u and then pop them with a needle to help letting the all this negative energy go. The vibe was amazing - smiles, laughs, nice conversations, etc. It felt like such a needed reminder to not forget about the important stuff like love, family, and friends! Just wanted to share it with yall since it's a family holiday season and a liked the message! https://www.instagram.com/p/DDFhr4RsznA/ (for those who missed it lol)

SF Neighborhood Recommendations

I’m looking to move to San Francisco and would love some recommendations on which neighborhoods to look in. I tend to get overstimulated by cities and would love to be in a more quiet neighborhood but my roommate wants to have super easy access to the more vibrant, happening areas like the Mission etc.

Some things we would love in a neighborhood:

  • great access to public transport
  • short commute to more central areas
  • quieter streets
  • green spaces and/or tree lined streets
  • easier parking
  • walkable neighborhood coffee shops/breweries/restaurants

Delicious Juicy Chicken Momos

If you want some good Nepalese food in SF area, Gurung Kitchen is a must try. Their momos are massive and extremely delicious. Also, the traditional thali set is absolutely amazing. Enjoy this Vlog. https://youtu.be/VNmmnWX49FI

Hole in the Wall Nepalese Joint in SF!

A few months ago, we had the pleasure of exploring San Francisco in search of a new Nepali restaurant. Our quest led us to the charming neighborhood of Nob Hill, where we discovered a hidden gem called Himalayan Cuisine. This delightful eatery offers a delectable fusion of Nepalese, Indian, and Tibetan cuisine.

During our visit, we decided to try the Himalayan Chicken Steamed Momos, which were simply divine. These hot and steamy dumplings were not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying. The accompanying tomato sauce had a delightful kick to it, perfectly complementing the flavors of the momos.

For our main course, we opted for the Himalayan Chicken Thali Set. This generous platter included a mouthwatering chicken curry, a side of creamy spinach curry, flavorful daal, fragrant rice, a half portion of naan, crispy papad, a refreshing salad, a delightful dessert, and some tangy pickle. The chicken curry was expertly seasoned and incredibly tender, while the spinach curry was rich and creamy. The yellow daal, made from lentils, was both hearty and heavenly.

In conclusion, Himalayan Cuisine SF truly excels in offering an exceptional Nepalese dining experience. If you're curious to see our food adventure at this amazing eatery, enjoy this vlog.

How to make my birthday memorable?

I am coming to the United States for a business trip. I am 24F. J have only been to the States once before, and I discovered LA amd NYC then. Anyway, my birthday is on Saturday (nov 30). I'll be landing in SFO on Friday morning at 9... after immigration and stuff, I think It'll be 11.30 am. I have booked Hotel Adagio. What can I do alone? away from my family and friends? :/

I am planning to do touristy things like the bridge and so on. But if anyone could help me understand how to travel within city, how cold it would be, how can I do it in budget... my client is in Phoenix so this touristy stuff will be with my money... my client is paying for my hotel and 75 usd per diem for meals.

Thanks in advance for all youe help!

Hey there. Will be visiting SF in the 2nd week of December. Would love to get some good recommendations - looking to try some great Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Peruvian, Brazilian/Argentinian steakhouses and more. I love to hit the streets to get the flavour of the city, so not necessarily fancy. TIA

First week of January

Hi Everyone. My husband and I traveled to San Fran in 2016 and loved it. We went in October and stayed in Nob Hill area in an Airbnb. This year we’re coming back but with our 9 year old boy. This will be the first week of January and it’s only for a few days before we make our way down to Monterrey to join friends there. Looking to just stay in a hotel (any recs appreciated) and looking for recommendations of things to do with our 9yo while there. He likes museums and things of that nature. Thanks

New Years Eve parking

Looking for safe parking we will be in SF from 7pm to 130am on New Year’s Eve ….. I’m sure the car thieves will be out in full force that night. I called the Marriott’s Marquis and they have parking for $20/hour so I know that’s safe but any other cheaper safe suggestions? I get that $130 for parking is still cheaper than a new windshield tho!!!! Thank you!

Where to stay in San Francisco? First trip for a Brazilian couple.

Hi everyone!

I’m Brazilian, and my boyfriend and I are visiting San Francisco for the first time. We’ll be staying for 4 days, and we have a rental car because on the second day, we’re heading to Sacramento to watch an NBA game, so returning the car before isn’t an option.

I’m looking for neighborhood suggestions that are safe, clean, have a romantic vibe, and are walkable to cafés, restaurants, etc. I’ve already given up on finding a hotel with free parking, so I’m prepared to pay for it separately.

The neighborhoods I’ve seen recommended the most so far are: Nob Hill, Financial District, and Fisherman's Wharf. What’s your opinion? Are there any other neighborhoods you think are worth considering?

Thanks for the tips! 😊

Planning a proposal during my road trip from SF - LA in December— looking for ideas for the perfect spot

I’m planning a road trip with my girlfriend this December from SF to Los Angeles (Dec 12–18) with the idea of proposing to her along the way.

I’d love any recommendations on romantic spots or hidden gems between the areas where a proposal would feel truly special. I’m open to all vibes, whether it’s a quiet beach, scenic overlook, or even a quirky stop that’s meaningful. Thanks in advance!

All about the views! San Fran hotel recommendations please

Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip to San Francisco in Jan and would love to stay at a hotel with stunning views. Maybe of the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay, or the city skyline. Just somewhere you wake up and go WOW, I'm here!

I’m open to different areas of the city and any budget range, so long as the view is worth it. Bonus points for great rooftop bars or good food!

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Looking for club recommendations

My partner and I want to try a sex club or sexy couples party for the first time. It looks like all the events are on Friday and Saturday. We only have next Thursday night available. I know Power exchange is every day but I heard it’s just a sausage fest other than couples night on the 3rd floor. Any advise?

Cat Club Thursday 80s Night

Consistently one of the best music and crowd vibes for dancing on Thursday nights…for like 15 years now. Decently cheap drinks and never too crowded, but enough of a talkative heads up crowd to dance dance dance with.
