My boyfriend is visiting me in Berkeley for the first time and we’re looking for a getaway for our anniversary. Open to glamping/RVs/ tucked away airbnbs midst of nature. We wanted to hit a national park but believe it would be too cold for amateurs? Suggestion please! 2-3 hours away from SF.
which is better to stay in: mission bay or tidelands ??
I'd love to know about different restaurants in The City to expand my knowledge of the area. Any suggestions?
I know amoeba has a good section, but I’m also thinking about spots that may have at home broadcast recordings, or foreign content.
My husband and I will be in SF in April for 4 days. Our first time in the city. Can I get by without a rental car? Using subway/tram/Uber? We will be staying in Union Square.
Im going for 5 days to san francisco and san jose to make a movie about local food, anyone has ideas for some special farms, farmer markets etc? Thank you :)
We are going to San Francisco in a few months. This restaurant was recommended - what do you think? Is it worth going to?

Hi all. My team is putting together a free event next month for NBA All-Star weekend, and wanted to share it and invite you all to it! We’re teaming up with a couple of local organizations to make it happen. There's gonna be a few former Golden State Warriors involved, we'll have an athlete investor panel & then a celebrity game. Here's the link to get the tickets!
My wife and I just moved here and would like to find a strip club that has black and brown dancers. Any recommendations?
My friend and I are visiting SF from OC. We found this adorable garage cafe in SF! It’s Bird & Bear Coffee Company, named after the founder’s twin kids.
When I’m in town, I occasionally host small coffee gatherings. After having a wonderful chat with the owner, we thought it would be fun to try it here in SF Bay Area as well.
On MLK Monday 1/20, we are going to meet Bird & Bear’s coffee roastery in Oakland. Since they operate their store based off of their home garage, we decided to move to their roasting facility where they have more space available.
It’s going to be 1.5 hr long coffee gathering that includes —

What speakeasies/lounges would you recommend in the city?
Has anyone attended one of these private house parties? Their Instagram promises an “entrance into a secret world of exquisite pleasures and unforgettable delights” at a local house party on 1/25. But I can’t find much online about them. Anyone have any experience with Prime Club (and no, I don’t mean Amazon :)
I (24M) I am coming to visit a friend of mine in February. They've been there about a year. I want to eat around and see all of the city, we are not picky whatsoever. I would love recommendations on food, sights, bars museums, weird off the beaten track things or experiences!
P.S any recs on road bicycle rentals would be greatly appreciated
I get that Twist is a swingers club or bar (been to Colette, New Orleans & Whispers in Vegas most recently), but what goes on at a Sex Club (Power Exchange) that's different? Are they both BYO alcohol? What's the vibe in either? Anything else you'd like to share/advise on? Thanks in advance
Travelling to SF in April. Looking online it looks like they only recommend the most expensive areas for accommodation and visits. However as a big city person myself, I know there are always calm and nice neighbourhoods that tourists never get to hear about!
Im supposed to live in SF from next week to May I know that the feels-like temperature is colder than the actual temperature.
What clothes should I wear now? Is it okay to wear coat? or jacket?
Hi! This is my first time is SF and i saw a few people here say that you can park in Letterman garage (which is $6/hr) buy validate the ticket at a nearby restaurant. Is that really the case? Which restaurant offer this? Thanks in advance
hi!! my friend and i are visiting sf and wondering about what bars or clubs that our “id’s” would work at. i’ve seen the 18+ clubs like club x but it seems like a lot of kids and we’re both 20 and looking for something better.

Since SFFD is a public service, you can access the bathrooms in the building by ringing the buzzer and requesting it. Their official stance is that the bathrooms are open 9am-6pm daily. If you're nice & respectful and really gotta go, they'd probably let you in outside those hours too.
I'd caveat this by saying you should only do this if you really need a bathroom and there are no other options. If the fire department is called while you're pooping, you will need to leave immediately or they will forcefully take you out.
Here's a list of all the locations: https://sf-fire.org/fire-station-locations
I also map out bathrooms for SF, so you can find them (and 1000+ other bathrooms) here: https://bathroom.app
Wife and I are coming to SF for a quick 10th anniversary trip. Any recommendations on strip clubs, etc , other adult entertainment?
