Hi,
Bought this Yuzu Sake less than a year ago and didn't get the proper occasion to drink it yet.
It has started to have what appears to be a bit solid in it. (I can't find the actual word for it)
The bottle was never opened, is it still good for drinking? There can bit some bits also in the liquid instead of just stuck to the bottle.
Thanks in advance!
Going over to some friends of ours tomorrow night, and the wife, who's from Japan, is going to cook an authentic Japanese meal for us.
Absolute Sake Rookie, what bottle should we bring?
Silly webcam photo
I went to my local liquor store to look at Sake and I took a picture of the stuff they had. I should have tried to take a better quality picture, but I just wasn't thinking about it at the time. Basically, I am wondering if someone can identify and point out which Sake tastes the best served warm from the picture I took? Preferably whichever one would be the smoothest tasting for a beginner. Then I will go back to this store and buy it. If it's something on the top shelf, I am ok with that I will pay for quality.
Hey peeps !
Is there a translator app for the bottles ? One where you can keep them ? I always got trouble keeping them in my memory ( as i do with wine ) as i don't understand what's on it.
ive never dealt with a "signed" package before and have a question
i work night shift and the ETA delivery date is between Mon-fri next week and i cant rlly afford to sit by the door all day for a week waiting
so should i just not order or what are my options?
thank you and sorry if this is a stupid question i am just unsure

Opening a bottle of this sake this afternoon. It's been a long while since I've tasted this. One of my favorites.
Hello all! I bought and enjoyed this incredible sake when I visited Kobe a year ago and would love to find something similar in the US as I can't find a place that will ship the same bottle. Can anyone recommend a similar sherry-aged sake? I would deeply appreciate it!
I was in Naoshima this summer with my family, stayed at ryokan roka hotel, they gave us a sake that was pretty sweet, it was opaque white, and the brand had a bird (think it was a cock) with multiple colors, haven’t been able to find it, does anyone know about it?
Has any one ever had the black bag bottle: ruyu sake houjun junmashu zuiyo? I grabbed it from vietnam without being able to read the label and there’s not much on the flavor profile online other than “Rich”.
What would happen if you soaked your rice in some sort of fruit juice before steaming? I like to experiment, but don't want to potentially poison myself.
Hey all, after touring breweries in Hokuriku and the Kii Peninsula last summer. I’m going back this spring To explore Chuugoku, northern Kyushu and northwestern Shikoku and wanted to get some recommendations from the experts ;) on stops I should make to get some amazing jizake. I’ll include my rough route. Let me know your recommendations
Hi!
I need recommendations for a high APV sake that’s both cheap enough to get in massive quantities and still fancy enough to be served to someone in a position of power.
The character is Kaidou from One Piece. He’s a man who will drink sake by the gallon, and fancies himself as someone with a lot of power and authority.
Any help is really appreciated.
I’m trying to understand which sake is more alkaline. Reading up on it I’ve seen some conflicting things. Lower acid is more sweet and higher acid is more dry. So are we talking ph? It seems sake acidity scale is not the same as a ph scale. The lower the acidity the lower the number where the lower the number on a ph scale is more acidic. Sweeter sake measuring its ph would be more alkaline? Which is better for someone who gets heartburn?
I'll be visiting New York City in the near future and saw there were a couple sake breweries in Brooklyn ( Kato Sake Works and Brooklyn Kura). Has anyone had any experience visiting them? How's their sake rate?
Thanks in advanced for your insight!
Found this sake bottle in my dad's house, does anyone know if it's rare or something? Been trying for a while to find anything about it online, but no results. (Kijoshu, junmaishu, Konishi Brewery)
