I mean shes a trending actress for several years now and characterwise, she has the "spider' emblem. Closest thing to having a Peter Parker in this universe
Hey guys! I'm making a timeline for every marvel movie, show, game that ties into MCU, are there any precise dates as to when the projects take place? (I'm looking for the Raime trilogy, The Amazing Spider-Man movies, Venom movies, madame web, morbius, spider-verse movies, the games, and perhaps the 60s show)
Edit: The Marvel Lego Games also tie-in to the movies, I forgot LOL
How come not many people are talking about the fact that Flash Thompson is not only in this movie but he also loses his legs and they make a point to show that he survives and is escorted to safety, very much setting up Agent Venom.
He’s fully masked which makes me think he definitely isn’t a previous Flash from the movies which is interesting. Sony has been really consistent about not referencing Peter Parker in the venom franchise so having his best friend appear in the movie and get setup for another appearance is really random but cool.
I haven't watched the third Venom movie yet, but I think the consensus is that despite Tom Hardy's efforts, the trilogy fell short of its potential. This made me wonder what would y'all have adjusted to make the films a success. Or would you say that the movies were condemned to be a bust? Personally, I understand that Venom having a sense of humor and some comedic moments is comic book accurate (and in there were some scenes in the movie that were pretty damn funny), but especially in Let There Be Carnage, there was such an emphasis on comedy that I feel that the Carnage character didn't feel nearly as monstrous as the comic version. And even though I liked the first film, the same could be said about Riot as well.
I heard that Tobey Maguire is Claustrophobic and every since Spider-Man 2 Tobey has not worn the Spider-Man mask because it makes him claustrophobic and feeling of suffocation and panic and in Spider-Man 3 when you see Spider-Man in that film many times it wasn’t Tobey in the mask and if that’s the case and Tobey doesn’t want to suffer while having the mask on then I completely understand
If I had Tobey return as Spider-Man again and if I wanted Spider-Man to have a lot of screen time in costume I would have a Stunt Double for Tobey and have him do all the Spider-Man scenes (Not just the action but let him interact with the characters on screen) and have Tobey do the voice
Since he was born on earth thanks to Venom and Kletus' blood, was Carnage ever been aware about Knull or the prison he was in? Or that his father had a creator at all?
Could it be that he was hunting down Venom for that exact reason? Lemme know what you guys think about it!
So who was the guy giving Strickland orders? Orwell Taylor? Kinda sucks we didn't get to see his face, or get any indication that he'll play a bigger role in other movies. Who was making the portals that the xenophages travel through? Why does it look eerily similar to doctor Stange portals? How is Knull free now if he needed the codex to escape? Was he just baiting venom to kill himself?
As seen in the post credits scene, a piece of Venom survives and bonds with a Cockroach. The military takes control of the site, finds venom in the wreckage and use the now weakened Venom symbiote to create their Super Soldier, Agent Venom by bonding it with Pvt. Flash Thompson. The Toxin symbiote, who had abandoned Mulligan, probably due to being called a monster by him, is found by Eddie Brock somehow. Eddie, who has no idea that Venom has survived, tells the symbiote that it's not a monster and bonds with it becoming Toxin. This theory is based off a storyline in comics where Flash Thompson as Agent Venom fought against Eddie Brock as Toxin.
Captain Universe has appeared multiple times in Spider-Man comics and thn there's the famous appearance as Cosmic Venom in the King in Black event which makes me think that maybe there could be a shared rights situation like that for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. But the first appearance of the character was in a Micronauts comic whose rights are with Hasbro.
the spiderman line eddie brock says in no way home was removed from venom 3? i think there is more than enough evidence, especially with that fact, that spiderman CANNOT be used in non mcu movies currently and unless a new deal happens then it wont happen
