I am selecting my residence and on the waiting list for Bishops, but got a spot in MacIssic.
Heard it’s going substance free, can anyone confirm.
What grades did y’all for an entry scholarship in business administration.
I got accepted into my residence and need to choose a meal plan, it is different from the website and I am trying to figure the costs of things, it is not letting me click on the plan that is now 350 meals and $400 in declining credits I believe. Is anyone aware of what the price is of that plan, because it is the required meal plan.

Hello, i'm a first year student at upei (bachelor of science, major in biology) planning to apply for Nursing again. I got wait listed when I applied last year in grade 12. Can anyone who transferred to nursing after first year of biology let me know how it went? was it easier because you were already a uni student or?
My friend and I want to share a dorm room together, do we both have to apply at the same time, or can one apply for residence first and the other one later?
15 year chronic pain patient with MS and mixed connective tissue disease. Under 45 years old and I can't not find pain relief in this county for shit.throwing my fishing line out there in hopes someone genuine might help me. Just looking for feedback on how people with Celiac have fared living in residence and relying on campus food? What has your experience been?
With a shit average of a 75%
I know it’s pretty early but I have been accepted to a Bachelor of Business Administration at X for the 2025/2026 year. I’m staying in Bishops and I’ve just been curious about anyone else who has been accepted. Also anyone who has stayed in Bishops this year or other recent years how is it? I chose it because everything I read about it says it is one of the more social residences on campus. I also like the fact that it has single rooms. I’m hoping for a really fun and social first year and hope Bishops is the right choice.
I have some errands to run today but also have a meeting on campus. Does anyone know if they enforce parking during the break? I normally walk so I don’t have a pass but today it would be pushing it to drive back home and then walk.
DM me
Just applied for the distance only pathway for LPN-BScn. Anyone in it already and willing to share their experience so far? / Or just applied too and wanting to connect? :)
I was accepted to StFX and am having trouble deciding which dorm hall to go to. I am considering either the nicer dorms in Riley hall or the more social dorms in Mac Isaac or bishops. I really want the social university experience but am also drawn to the nicer dorms. I was wondering how big the difference is between the two halls and if Riley hall is isolated. I won’t know anyone there and am hoping to make friends. Also are people seen differently based on their residence choice and are there any stereotypes I should know or about?
I'm looking to talk to people, figure out where things are happening, make some friends, that kind of thing. I live off-campus so I don't have the benefit of living next to people so I'm looking for more ways to socialize. Any tips?
I got admitted into the accelerated nursing program for January 2025. I’m looking for any useful information to help me know what to expect about the program, Stfx, and Antigonish. Thank you!
Here are a few specific questions I have:
What are the easiest electives that you don’t need to study for and ur basically guaranteed a high mark if u go to class
Anyone taking this course? Any thoughts on it? I’m a nurse considering doing this.
Wondering if anyone happens to have actual single room measurement, name length of window wall and length of platform bed frame Any measurements great
Hey St. FX!! LUG Softball is a COED and Competitive Softball league that plays just off campus throughout September & October. We're back for our 10th year at X! Games are on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons and the league is 95% Carleton & U Ottawa students. MLB style Jerseys, hats, sunglasses, umpires, bases, balls, and good times come standard. If you're looking to play softball, meet students from campus and other programs, and get outside in the warm weather, check us out! We're also HIRING student staff to help run the games and to shoot photo and video. More details are available on our website.
Has anyone else not received their room assignment yet? I haven't gotten mine. If anyone knows why this might be, please let me know.
If I just discovered my room number for MSB, is there a way to figure out exactly where it is? Like, is there a floor plan?
My mom literally only had one piece of jewellery, her X-ring, and I wore it to feel closer to her, as she died when I was a kid. But it only recently occurred to me that it might be in poor taste. Especially if someone comments on it and I have to explain how I didn't exactly "earn" it the Stfx way.
What's the etiquette?
Sincerely, unawares.
I’m coming to StFX at the Fall semester and will stay in the double rooms located in FX Hall
I tried to look for pictures or information for it on university’s website but didn’t manage to find any as MacIssac, Bishop, etc.
Could any one give me more details about the stay there? It costs exactly as Mackinnon Hall so are they looking the same?
Hey! I’m a grade 11 looking to go to STFX for education. I’m aware I need to do my undergrad first, but I don’t really understand the best steps to take for applying, and what I need to do. I was just looking to see if anybody could give me a rundown of what applying looks like, and if there are any extra steps I need to take to go into education! Thank you❤️
Hi,
I was wondering if I could get the low down of stfx?
I just got accepted and I really don’t know what to expect.
I’m having a hard time finding a lot on the school, especially recent information on the school!
Any and all information would be helpful, such as what’s the culture of the school, is the school lgbt inclusive/are there a lot of queer ppl, is the school diverse? How safe it’s the campus? Cost of living? Is it hard to find housing? How’s the campus food (are there gluten and dairy free options)?
Also, I got into aquatic resources and I’m trying to compared the programs, the research opportunities and experience I’ll gain to Dalhousie University.
Thanks anything helps
