Is SRX done for good or does anyone know if they're coming back next season?
Looking at my phone's empty pinned clipboard space and remembering when throughout the last few summers it had the positioning of the heats/race of the drivers with a colored circle to match their car, just makes me miss watching these races with mixes of new and old stars, awesome race cars, small tracks with big heart, and rapidly filling out the heat/race finish comments, and just all around rooting for this small series.
I'm sad it's a brief blip and thing of the past, and I wish I coulda seen it in person one day. I didn't grow up watching iroc even though it was my generation, so whenever that comes back I know it'll be for the best, but I fear it just won't match the specific vibes or be able to replace this. I'm glad as hell we got a video game and iRacing representation out of it to go back to at least.
Here's the results from the last race from last year, for old time's sake.

So with the unfortunate realization that this series is probably defunct, what will be the future of this sub?
The Iracing car model will probably still come as a last hurrah to the series.
And there was the video game, although quiet yet.
Anything else I'm missing or any other ideas?
Very interesting development today. Per Ray's official Facebook and Instagram pages, he and Rob Kauffman have bought the IP to the IROC series and are relaunching it.
Looks like his non-compete after getting forced out is up.....
