Hi Rapid Fans! I’m planning to visit during the final weeks of the current campaign. Hopefully SK Rapid are at the top of Championship Round by then! If anyone has any tips on where to sit or where the fans groups hang out before or after a match that would be awesome. Can’t wait to see a match at Allianz Stadion : )
Hello fellow Rapíd fans. I'm Brazilian and a few years ago I adopted Rapid Wien as my second team (I have a connection with FC Nurnberg). I live in Portugal and I would REALLY like to see Rapid for the first time in my life against Braga, but unfortunately I couldn't get tickets. Do you know someone who is selling tickets for this game or something else?
Moin, Ich suche 3 Tickets für das Heimspiel von wien vs trabzonspor.
Hello next weekend I will be in Vienna. I was thinking about going to football match Rapid vs Wisla. I saw that tickets cost something around 15-30€ but I cannot buy them online wihtout membership that cost 100€! Is that true? There is no real option to buy this ticket without membership?
Jo an alle!
Hi! I'm portuguese, i've always felt something with Rapid Wien. Maybe the colours because im a Sporting CP ultra and both clubs wear green, maybe because of the Rapid ultras, i dont know, but i've always liked Rapid Wien. With much curiosity, i went on google trying to understand why is called Rapid. In portuguese, Rapid means fast or quick. I wanted to know if the name has a meaning in the club or in Austria, or if it was just the name that someone choosed for the club. I hope you can help me understand it, because i really like this club and i want to know its history and meaning. Lets go SK Rapid!
Hello all - football fan from England, looking to source a Stefan Maierhofer shirt from the 2008-2009 season. The major is somewhat of a cult hero for me.
Does anyone know where i may be able to find one? :)
Gutentag. I'm writing in this forum, because it seems to be the only Austrian football forum on reddit with activity. Googling hasn't really helped me get anywhere with this question. I hope reddit does. I know there won't be any solid answers, but maybe a likely guess is possible.
I'm doing some research in family history, and I'm trying to figure out what football club my grandfather's family would have supported. He passed away 19 years ago, and I only know he used to attend matches in Vienna with his father. He was born in Vienna in 1925. He and his family lived there until April 1938. They left because of the political circumstances.
I have a few items to profile that might or might not help try to figure out which club they would have supported. Maybe some are useful. I'm not sure how neighborhood, class, politics, or heritage fit into Austrian football in the 1920s and 1930s. Maybe it didn't and I have to continue searching elsewhere.
They lived here, in the 18th district of Wahring.
The family was well off, with lots of money from banking and politics. Gustav Klimt was a family friend who even made paintings of one family member.
The family was politically very left. My great-grandmother had communist party connections.
The family had some Jewish heritage, but were not religious at all.
Any help in the right direction is appreciated! danke!
Dann hauchen wir dem Rapid Subreddit mal ein bisschen Leben ein! Kurier Artikel
