Any local artists/musicians? As an artist myself, it’s been really hard getting my event (live performance) noticed by local audiences- what are your experiences?

My all girl punk band has about 5-6 originals that we’d like to try and get recorded, semi-professionally or whatever makes sense. We probably don’t have a big budget but just looking to have something to put on Spotify.

Are there any places in SF/Bay Area we should checkout ? Know anybody that would do it for cheap ?

Was wondering if there’s a way to apply for Noise Pop events and if anyone here has had experience with that.

Noticed in a comment on a Noisepop Fest post they said that they would be opening up applications for local acts soon, but that was 4 weeks ago and haven’t seen anything posted or on their website since.

Stacked lineup this Saturday at F8 with local SF DJs - clearcast (Vitamin1000), kaytree b2b milli meng (Pixie Pop), and dj tips, llloyd, suade (Club Moniker) - supporting NYC experimental bass and club artists Ma Sha & Sobolik (Kindergarten Records). A full night of percussive breaks, techno, ukg bass, + undefined / undeniably good music. Highlyy recommend checking out their discography.
