Hi,
I'm an eletronic music producer making house and techno music. I work with Ableton Live, drum machines and synthesizers. I've been making music for 15+ years and recently decided to take it more seriously and to work on an EP and live show. My music style is similar to Mall Grab, Pretty Girl, highly influenced by Chicago house, acid house, stutter house, melodic house/techno...
I'm looking for other artists interested in doing jam sessions, learning from each other, and eventually collaborating together.
Send me a DM ! :)
Has anyone been to this event before? What's the vibe, what's to be expected? I have a bunch of leftover friendship bracelets from a previous Taylor Swift themed event, would it be passe to bring them? Thanks and sorry if this isn't the right place for this post.
Cross posted but first to DM gets them
Selling two tickets for the sold out Orion Sun show tonight at August Hall, $35 each (face value). We are not scammers, just two tired chumps who can’t make the drive up from Santa Cruz. Pm please
I remember seeing a post recently about artists not stopping in SF, and I think maybe presale interest is a good way to encourage bands to come. Anyway, if there are other Nathanial Rateliff fans out there, he has a presale signup (on Oct 22) for a show on Feb 22 at the Bill Graham. Here's how to register for the presale: https://signup.ticketmaster.com/nathanielrateliffthenightsweats. If you don't know his music, here's a track I love, it's a bit slower than most of the rest of his stuff but hits me in the feels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hw4MiegZxsU. More representative: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEKwJxW6CqM.

Hi! We're playing an all-locsl lineup with our friends Lost Marakas, and Baystar and Doghouse this Friday, October 11 at Brick & Mortar in the Mission. Hope some of you can make it out! Very excited about this one!
Hi all! If there is a better place to make these sorts of posts please do lmk but I thought to try here... Myself and a few buddies are trying to get a project off the ground but we need a drummer. We're in our mid-20s and our ideal drummer would be around there as well. We have all been in bands before, have gigged, and are musically proficient.
Some influences are bands like Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Karnivool, Porcupine Tree, and Muse, although we aren't particularly settled in our sound yet and aim to develop it over time.
Really we're just looking for someone who loves making/playing music in their free time, is skilled as a drummer, has an open mind, and is down to have fun with this project, play some gigs, and release some music. DM me if interested!
Hey everyone,
We are a local Indie-Funk band looking for some new places to gig. I was wondering if anyone has some tips as to how to break into playing some of the smaller venues around the city?
Any help is appreciated!

Can anyone recommend musicians in San Fran who embody cultural music?
Originally from New Zealand, I'm driving through SF in November and would like to create these art/performance videos called 'Living Paintings' with local musicians, blending cultural music performances with beautiful art as backdrops.
Thanks!

Hello! First time at Masonic - I’m going to the PJ Harvey show solo and I’m debating between ga or balcony. I think ga would be better to experience the crowd and I can’t access the floor with a balcony ticket (right?). I am fairly short, though. I noticed the venue is live nation and in Chicago (where I live and normally catch shows) live nation venues oversell the ga and it’s miserable on the floor. What ticket would you recommend?
I have two seated mezzanine rickets to her show October 6 Sunday. Face value. I have a schedule problem and am seeing her in LA the Friday before. Hit me up.
