There was an SBSK video which I cannot find anymore, I think it has been deleted/hidden from the channel. It was an interview with a young woman, I believe she had been diagnosed with bipolar. She talked about her childhood symptoms (talking with her 'ancestors'), experiences of psychotic episodes and about dealing with emotional cycles. In the end she shared she had written a children's book dealing with emotions and with a character called Tabitha the owl.
I related a lot with some of the things she shared and I loved rewatching her video, but I can't find it anymore. Anyone know what happened or what could've been a reason for removing the video?
I am a biology teacher and try to include sbsk videos in my classroom when we discuss medical conditions.
In the past I have had issues with students using the r word in class (among other slurs) and have done my best to explain why it is offensive and no longer used. I am trying to remember/looking to see if this is talked about during an interview that I could show at the beginning of the year when I introduce rules.
His optimism, strength and intelligence really touched my heart. I hope he's well.
I have diagnoses of autism, ADHD, OCD, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, depression and trauma, but I live in the UK. Would Chris be able to do Zoom interviews with people outside of the USA?
I am from Canada and was wondering if Chris does interviews from other countries?
I'm interested in possibly doing an interview someday I'm not from the states
I'd loved to watch that video again. The most similar case to what I've lived in infancy and how I feel about myself along the years. Does anyone have this video? I'd like to show it to my psychiatrist and tell her the similarities. could anyone help me?
its the second video about antissocial personality disorder i think it was something like "what is like to be a sociopath"
This subreddit will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.
A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to Sync.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
Thank you for your patience in the matter,
-Mod Team
Hello SBSK community,
I am recently searching for what to send to an individual part of the SBSK community named Daniel Nepveux. I have seen his social media platforms that contain his PO box to send items, although they were published years ago; I am not sure if the PO box is different currently.
What is his current PO box, or is it the same?
Thank you for your time,
Have a good day.

Of all the SBSK interviews, this one, with the sessions family, has stuck with me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HlQ_lj70qc&t=364s
I found all the boys, their little sister, and their parents, wonderful. It was really interesting to hear about their experiences, their determination, and their hopes for the future. It was also some much-needed Black representation on SBSK.
Their social media handle has changed from the link at the time. Does anybody know how to keep up with them? Chris, if you read this, is there any chance of a follow-up? I'd love to know how this ordinary/extraordinary family are doing now. Hopefully achieving their dreams!
Just stumbled upon a SBSK interview from 2 years ago with Dyshae, a sociopath (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdPMUX8_8Ms).
I am very interested in him, I believe we share a lot of similarities, I would like to message him or talk to him at the very least.
Is it possible to find the people interviewed on SBSK? Does SBSK respond to random DMs? I've heard they're more active on facebook, I guess I'll shoot them a DM, but they have like 3M followers I sort of doubt I'll get a response back.
Thanks for any help.
My 3 (almost 4) year old son was diagnosed with autism at 18 months. We knew he was autistic when he was as young as four months as crazy as that sounds. I worked with special needs children for six years and I think that helped me spot red flags as he grew up. He has made amazing progress and I would love to share his story.
Hi my sister and I were diagnosed by a well know geneticist with a genetic rare disease. I was diagnosed 7 years before her, but we would like to be interviewed together. I filled out the forms and it says we'll send you an email with the last form, but never got the email and i put in a valid email address that i use every day checked spam and everything. Does anyone know how to contact them about this?
Hi SBSK, you are my favorite channel! I am unable to have an interview, but I have some interview ideas!! I have many conditions that I was hoping y'all could interview people about. Any of these. They are: OCD, ADHD, Tourette's, pica, and prosopagnosia. thank you for reading this and i hope you can make videos on these!
hey, i’m asha. i have autism and watching SBSK is definitely my favourite thing to do when i’m bored. i’d love to have an interview with chris. i know you can request an interview and how to do it but i live in the UK. i know he has been to the UK and done interviews there before but i’m wondering if he STILL does it. you know, cause of covid. does anyone know if chris does still go around the world interviewing people after covid? thanks :)
Hello, I’m a 19 year old male to female trans person with autism and OCD who frequently watches SBSK. (I used to say I had Aspergers but people tell me not to say that, so idk anymore). As someone who is technically disabled but not perceived that way to the world (just usually as an awkward loser with no friends), I wonder from all disabled people out there, are we supposed to be perceived as inspiring? I like the channel myself and I think Chris is a good person with pure intentions, but I hear accusations from other disabled folk calling that kind of stuff “inspirational porn”. In where a disabled person is essentially put on the internet for the sake of inspiring non-disabled people. I love how Chris talks to the interviewee of each video as another person like him and not condescendingly or in a childish voice. I was always a big believer in egalitarianism meaning I believe everyone has an equal value on earth. And I cant help but wonder how the subjects of each video feel about being spotlighted just for neurotypical abled people to say “Oh I could have it much worse i could be this person. Its so inspiring they get out of bed each day with their disability.”, (half quoted from Stella Young). Like I said I mean no disrespect to Chris or anyone, I just wanna know why people make those accusations and why they dont see Chris as just spreading awareness (something I think he does a great job at). Anyhow, thats all I have to say. Feedback is appreciated.
Hi there! I love SBSK. It is so comforting and interesting to watch. Cool to get to know so many folks who I otherwise may not have the opportunity to learn about. And Chris is so kind and smart. I have learned a lot from him.
I am curious about how the interviewees benefit from being on the channel. Do part of the proceeds from video views go to the interviewees? Some of the videos I see have a GoFundMe or other type of specific fundraiser. But knowing that Chris and Alyssa make their living from doing this work, I am curious if there is compensation for the interviewees as well as the interviewers/producers.
Thank you!!
I’m suspecting I’m on the autism spectrum and currently awaiting an assessment. If I actually did get diagnosed I’d love to do an interview with Chris talking about the problem of underdiagnosis, the challenges people like me face growing up presumed to be neurotypical, and what it’s like to realize/get diagnosed as an adult. Also, I’d like to highlight how presentation differs in those assigned female at birth from the stereotypical male presentation that’s in most of the literature. Would anyone be interested in something like this when the time comes?
My name’s Drew. I have a whole slew of disorders. A skin disorder, Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 3, hydrocephalus, hearing issues, and a slew of mental disabilities. I have anxiety, mild depression, and bipolar II. Also a sev ere speech slur. So that’s fun. I’m clearly immunocompromised, and my family is very protective of me, hense why I’d rather do a virtual interview. I’ve tried to reach out for an interview before on Facebook but I never heard back from Chris. I watch SBSK A LOT. I’d love to share my story and be heard. I’d love to talk about my interests with Chris and just have a good time!
Is there any way to help prevent this? I've seen some kids interviewed by Chris being called ugly names and mocked.
Have they interviewed anyone with Graves??? I can’t find anything online or on the socials… if not, I’d love to do an interview about it
