Has Ryan Stiles always been so bashful around women?

I finally started watching the "new" Whose Line and was surprised to see Ryan so reluctant to get physical with a woman during Living Scenery (side note: I hate that they seem to always do this game when they have a woman as a guest - it's scary to be in a situation where you can theoretically be touched anywhere and not have the ability to say no or walk out).

It's true I haven't seen the Drew Carey episodes in a while, but my memory of Ryan is someone who was clever and funny most of the time but who was also low-key obnoxious and crass (in contrast to Colin, who might have played questionable characters but seemed to be thoughtful and classy in real life). He definitely had no problem pretending he had big breasts, that much I'm sure of.

I know that he has two daughters, but I'm not sure when he had them and if they've been a factor in his evolution when it comes to using a woman's discomfort for laughs (if he in fact ever did that at all). Also, I think it's worth noting that the episodes I've seen so far are from before #MeToo.

Just a reminder that new episodes of Whose Line start TOMORROW (July 16). According to Ryan, it never stopped.

Sentences Game

Just got out of Improv A Ganza in Vegas. Sadly no Ryan Stiles tonight. However...

Earlier in the night they'd played the sentences game, and some of the unused sentences were scattered on the floor.

During the game Jeopardy, one round was a spectacular failure, with no properly funny answers proposed. Drew, Jonathan, and the others had already given responses, so Sally picked up an unused sentence saying it had to be better than the rest of Gus answers. She unfolded the paper and confidently read:

"Where's Ryan?"
