Same, but a flip through the entire book.
Takahashi-san talking about Urusei Yatsura's role in developing her skills as an artist
There doesn't seem to be that many interviews with Rumiko Takahashi on YouTube, but I found this one that seemed really interesting. Unfortunately though, it didn't have English subtitles, so I decided to translate and make some subtitles for it. She begins by talking about her influences growing up, how she got started with her career, and then transitions to talking about her work on Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Inuyasha and the like. It's cool to hear her talk about these things after watching and being a fan of her shows.
If you download the video and subtitle file, you should be able to add the subtitle files via VLC (or most video players).
Also, I just got back from studying in Japan recently and I'm accepting commissions if anyone needs help translating from Japanese, here's the link in case anyone's interested!
Do you see Mao getting an anime in the future?
I loved this series so much. I wonder why this isn't available digitally like her other works. I only see it available physically.
When i noticed that Ranma 1/2 do have a list of arcs in its wikia and Inuyasha doesn't i decided to make one myself. Since Inuyasha is very episodic i also splitted it into sagas.
It's in english and spanish btw.
I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on the series, but actually it's the first Rumiko's work that has catch my eye so bad.
Even though Ranma, Urusei Yatsura and Rinne have also got my attention in some degree, the fact that they're (mostly) made of a bunch of short stories, always turns me off... but that doesn't seen the case in Mao.
What do you think about the story so far? Would you say it is a good option to enter the Rumic World?
Thanks!
After 4 months, I finished watching Maison Ikkoku two days ago. This Rumiko Takahashi masterpiece was the definition of "trust the process" after 9 episodes of misunderstanding which resolved towards the end of the series. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Just finished rereading Inuyasha and Yashahime, now it’s onto Mao. I have 10 volumes so far and plan to continue collecting them, I’ve read 4 of the 10 once before but I’ll be starting from the beginning to refresh my memory. I absolutely love this manga artist with Inuyasha my favourite of her works but Mao is quickly becoming another favourite, this series sure does remind of Inuyasha with time travelling from the present time to the past where demons roamed.
