Hi, I'm new here, and I want to share my thoughts about Epidemic's royalty free music. In the last three to four years, I noticed significant changes to Epidemic Sound and they removed a few hundreds of tracks from their websites and now I can't find them anymore on Internet (they're gone forever). The changes were applied to following (my favourite) albums:
A Sabotage by Etienne Roussel (removed one track of 16 total)
Fried Fingers by The New Fools (removed one track of 12 total)
The Takedown by Rockin' for Decades (removed two tracks of 3 total)
Lost by Alec Slayne (removed two tracks of 8 total)
Palm Sprung by Birdies (removed two tracks of 5 total, however, I found them on SoundCloud)
The Errand by Birdies (removed one track of 8 total, however, I have it on YouTube, uploaded by other users)
Hobby Horse by Ted Beattie (removed one track of 7 total)
The Dimwits' Downfall by Jon Bjork (removed two tracks of 18 total)
Too Busy by The New Fools (removed three tracks of 7 total, however, I found two, but I still can't find one)
Highway Etiquette by Sixteen Wheelers (removed eight tracks of 11 total, however, I have them stored on my phone, downloaded them in 2023)
Traveller's Curse by Sixteen Wheelers (removed one track from 5 total, however, I have it stored on my phone, downloaded it in 2023 via YouTube downloader from another user)
Balloon Fight by Mac Taboel (removed one track of 13 total, however, I found it in mid-2021 from another user, but I forgot the link and I can't find it anymore)
Cannons by Rockin' for Decades (removed one track of 14 total)
Where'd the Time Go? by The New Fools (removed one track of 12 total)
Ballroom Night by Radio Night (removed one track of 16 total)
Make sure to find those alleged tracks that are removed, and if you find the removed tracks (I forgot their names unfortunately), make sure to leave a comment below. Thanks.
To celebrate recordings from 1924 entering the public domain this year, we made 50 pre-chopped royalty free loops. These loops include high quality chops of Jazz, Opera, and Vaudeville music recorded in the year 1924. BPM's and original song title's are included in the file names.
Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on building a collection of over 50 free sample packs for producers, sound designers, filmmakers, and creators of all kinds. Every pack is high-quality and released under the CC0 license, meaning they’re completely free to use in personal or commercial projects—no strings attached.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll find:
I wanted to give back to the creative community, so feel free to check them out and use them however you like. You can find everything [on my website here].
Feedback is always welcome, and if you enjoy the packs, a share or shoutout means a lot! I hope these inspire your next project. 😊
Let me know if there’s a specific type of pack you’d like to see in the future—I’m always working on new ideas!
Hello
I would like royalty free nursery rhyme vocals. Where and how is the best way to do this? Thank you
Hello, my friends and I are going to start a play of Cyberpunk 2020 in a campaign of my own design. We are using the Foundry VTT and I am looking for some good music to fit the campaign.
I don't have anything against Synthwave outright, I just want more variety. I'm looking for other types of music to fit combat encounters with various gangs and characters. Music for various interiors too. Preferably free. I don't need calm background music, I have non music city ambience already. The general sort of stuff I'm looking for is....
1950's Rock and Roll/Rockabilly.
Reggae and Hip Hop.
Classic Punk, Hardcore Punk
Heavy Metal (closer to thrash and death, will accept hair also.)
Hard Techno, Hard Trance, Aggrotech, Industrial.
80's and 90's sounding Goth Rock.
I did find an artist called White Bat Audio, which I got some decent heavy metal from, also does synthwave. There was a channel on YouTube called We Have a Tripod, which had punk and reggae, but it's not quite what I'm after. I managed to get some bossanova off Pixabay, however that website is also a bit lacking for what I really want.

Hello all, I'm a filmmaker and I'm desperately searching for a free to use track that sounds similar to Blue Monday by New Order. What I like about it is the vintage production value, the gothic sound, and the interesting use of synths. All i've been finding either is too spooky or modern or slow. If anyone can find anything it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Everyone,
I am a content creator on YouTube creating dance fitness videos. I have super niched down to specifically creating Afrobeats dance fitness videos. As much as Afrobeats music is catching wind, as a content creator I am having the most difficult time finding royalty free Afrobeats. Don't get me wrong, there are some royalty free music platforms that are with the times and do have a great selection of Afrobeats. But I do find a lot of the Afrobeats out there is more of a chill vibe and not necessarily be something appropriate to dance/workout to.
My question is if there is anyone that knows of a royalty free music platform that SPECIALIZES in Afrobeats or maybe one that has more Afrobeats than usual?
My last resort would be to contact independent music producers and pay for their beats...which can get very pricey.
Thanks in advance :)
Hey guys,
I recently found this amazing ad video by Pika and the related music audio by StrayBeatz. I'd like to make a video in the similar vibe: very dynamic, positive, fun, with urban and danceful vibes.
I was wondering whether you guys knew songs with a similar tone / rythm, or if you could give me some tips to find a corresponding music.
Thanks!
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm working on a project aimed at making life easier for producers, mix engineers, and musicians when it comes to sharing and gathering feedback on tracks. The idea is to create a super simple platform where you can:
The focus is on making the process streamlined, efficient, and painless—so producers can focus on creating and improving rather than chasing notes.
I'm turning to this community to ask:
This is still in the early stages, so your input can really help shape it into something valuable for the community.
Thanks in advance for your ideas, and feel free to DM me if you want to chat more about it! 🙏
I will add the website url in the comments, if that is okay with the moderators! - If not I would still love to gather some feedback on the vision :)
