Hello everyone!
I’m a genealogist & I am trained in discovering local Massachusetts family lineages and stories through vital records, census records, and newspapers.
This is the interest form I put together for anyone interested in learning more about their personal Massachusetts family history. I create family trees, ancestral maps, and historical road trip itineraries based on YOUR personal family history! It’s a great way to connect with your heritage and wonderful knowledge pass down to future generations.

Here are some things you can discover from my research:
I have a degree in Anthropology and have spent several years working for a professional genealogy company. I have been working as an individual genealogist for about 6 years. If you have any questions about my research, please fill out an interest form or email: heritagehuntersgenealogy@gmail.com
For those of you with ancestry outside of Massachusetts, please send me a message. I’d be happy to help you or direct you to a better suited genealogist. Thanks!

Moving to Roxbury. I have been visiting for a while and love Roxbury so far. Good energy and positive forward momentum in the area. I see Malcolm X Park is really looking good and coming together after the COVID delay. I have been sampling the food in the area and still have a long way to go. Tropical Foods Grocery is perfect and close. Lots of construction projects. Bike lanes. Schools and public centers, library, gyms etc. So, what should I be sure to see this spring and summer? Peace.
Not really expecting a response, but I was wondering if anyone knew when the Dominos at Roxbury Crossing would re open
Hi everyone,
I'm a Northeastern journalism student working on a story with Channel 5 news that involves affordable housing issues in the greater Boston area. If you were priced out of a neighborhood due to rising rents, are a tenant in an affordable housing unit, or are being impacted by housing costs in Boston in some other way I would like to hear from you!
If you are comfortable being interviewed for the story, we can hop on a quick 5-10 minute call to talk about your experience.
Thanks, everyone!
Hi everyone,
I'm a journalism student at Northeastern University collecting data to learn about the phenomenon of renters in the greater Boston area bidding on rental apartments to make their applications more competitive. From my personal experience apartment hunting over the past couple of months, my roommates and I were having to bid hundreds of dollars over the asking price in order to secure an apartment. But, I want to know if this is a widespread phenomenon.
I created a short 12-question survey that will help me collect the data I need to answer my question. Demographic and geographic questions in the survey will help me see if this phenomenon affects certain groups or areas more than others. The survey should take no more than 3-5 minutes to complete. All responses will be anonymized when presented in news story data visualizations.
The Google Form survey is available here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfT5jdEe22iVDAwQ-tTQZzeYVfx4Jp_cFyktsQYSmXTR2ooFA/viewform?usp=sf_link
After you fill it out, please feel free to send it to anyone else you know who rents in the greater Boston area. I'll post the final results here for everyone to see once the research is complete!
