I was just curious if anyone knew if there was any possible talk of S&T expanding their medical program. With all the new construction, I was just wondering if S&T would possibly come out with a medical/nursing degree? Does anyone know anything about this by chance?

Hi everyone, I am considering applying for an engineering grad program at MST. Given it is a pretty small town viewing from google maps, I wonder what kind of community of people inhabits it. Like nerds? frat bros? stoners? Or just all together? since it would be at least 4 years of my life, i am curious about what do people do in their free time? How conservative/liberal people are? Are most students passionate about what they study or just go there because "hmm engineering seems interesting it also pays well"? How is the weather (i am from socal so I am not a big fan of cold). Do i need to buy a car there? What kind of backgrounds/demographic do people usually come from? Also i saw the 80/20 male female ratio, and wonder how do people go around that issue?

I have been wanting to get into boxing or some type of mixed martial arts. I know there is a karate place in town but I’m good on that. Just like some sparring and training is what I’m looking for.

Does anyone know of any motorcycle mechanics around that could work on suzuki motorcycles? I called the Honda dealer here in town and they said they wouldn't work on mine and the closest one looks like it's in St Robert. Thanks

I thought trash wouldn’t be picked up Monday due to Veterans Day, so I put mine out for Tuesday. It didn’t get picked up, so I left it out thinking maybe they were behind. Today, an environmental services truck came and wheeled back my dumpster and gave me a notice.

This is the first time I’ve had my dumpster out for more than 24 hours whereas neighbors keep theirs out all week, yet I got a notice 😅😅

Looking at houses for sale in Rolla and noticed a lot of them have electric heat. I have zero experience with electric heat and was wondering how expensive it is to heat a 2,500+ sqft house per month. Where we live now nobody uses electric heat as it would be outrageously expensive. Can any locals clue me in?

Hey, so I accidentally popped my tire and don't have tow on roadside. Is there a shop/business around here who will drive out and do a tire replacement if I buy a tire, or am I going to have to tow my car to a shop in order to get that kind of work done?
