I decided to play rb3 today and realized there's no intro showing your character and their name anymore. Any reason why or is there a setting to turn it on?

Every time I see a song on Apple Music, Spotify, Genius, etc. that has different lyrics than the Rock Band lyrics I end up trusting the RB lyrics over the other ones since these games have the stems and I'd assume were more thoroughly vetted compared to some public lyrics site. Does anyone know of any instances of incorrect lyrics in any RB game? thnx

Hey all. I'm hoping this is the place to go where I can get some straight answers, because so far googling has just left me even more confused.

Used to play rock band with friends years ago. Never been much of a video game person, but they had an Xbox and all the stuff and it was fun.

Recently my daughter and I played guitar hero at an arcade and she loved it and wanted to get something similar for home.

We have an old Wii. (Literally old one, not even Wii U.)

After a few months of searching I found a place that had the full rock band set for Wii, in box. Drums work, mic works, game works. Guitar won't turn on at all.

Now, before I go back to the store to see if he can switch it with another guitar, I checked various things.

1: I put in fresh batteries. 2: I made sure the switch on the back is turned to the on position.

The game is rock band one, and as near as I can tell it's the standard black strat that comes in the box with everything else.

Switch is flipped to on and I'm pressing the button where the jack would be on a regular guitar and nothing lights up.

Now, the box included a 4 port USB hub, but no dongle. I was pretty sure it would need a dongle, but some places are saying it doesn't for this guitar and others are saying it does.

Some are saying it will only power on of a dongle is plugged in, and others are saying it will power on without a dongle, but will connect.

So, help me out here. 1: Should the guitar power on even without a dongle? 2: Do I need a dongle for this guitar to work? 3: How can I tell if a guitar is compatible with the rock band 1 dongle for Wii versus other types?

I ordered the one for Xbox and I love it, but I can't get the thumbstick on the back of the fretboard to do anything. I went thru the calibration on the Quick Start guide. Any thoughts? Is that normal? Did I get a defective one? It's a feature I can live without to be honest but if it's definitely broken I'll replace the guitar.

This is most likely been answered already, I've just bought a few songs for rock band 4, I've downloaded and installed them to my PS4 . My problem is they don't show up, I cycle to newly acquired haven't found them there. I saw a post with having a setting turned on in-game. I closed my application re-downloaded all my songs, but can't happen to find 3 songs. The songs in question is Dream on (Live) Aerosmith, Could you be loved by Bob Marley and bring me to life by evanescence. I have re-downloaded and installed. But when I go to the quick play mode on RB4 they don't show, internet isn't helping me here either so any info on where these songs went will be appreciated

Edit: new problem, I deleted/reinstalled the entire game including the 80+ add-ons I've bought, I enter the quick play mode nothing, I go to options and enter the refresh music library. It buffers to 44 before the whole game crashes

My Wireless Xbox 360 Rockband 2 guitar and drums connect and sync to my legacy adapter plugged into my Xbox Series X. I know that much works because the Player 1 and 2 lights light up on the instruments, and the first two lights are lit on the legacy adapter. However, I cannot add the instruments in Rockband 4 as it behaves like nothing is connected.

When I start the game, all I see is my wired microphone which works fine. I was able to sing a song in practice mode with it. However, nothing happens when I press the start button on the synced 360 controllers in the game.

Come to think of it, it is strange that the microphone is shown connected to the 3rd position in the game. Shouldn't it be in the first position if no other instruments have been added?

Here is what I have tried. None of these attempts worked.

1. I connected the adapter to all 3 USB ports on the Series X.
2. I re-synced the instruments to the adapter.
3. Removed the batteries from the instruments to power cycle the drum and guitar.
4. Restarted the Series X.
5. Deleted and reinstalled Rockband 4.
6. Attempt to add the drum and guitar without the microphone plugged in.
7. Connected a 2nd Series X controller (player 2) to see if I could add an instrument to that player.

Do you have any advice for me?

I haven’t played in a while probably 1.5 years plus but I just got back on and today I finally realized I had to link my Xbox account to Epic which I just did. I also verified my email for the Epic account but I’m still having issues trying to connect. I’m on an Xbox one as well if that is the issue. Thanks

I just bought a sealed copy of the AC/DC track pack and was wondering if there is anyway to redeem it I've tried to do the battlefield method but doesn't seem to work, I tried on the Xbox website and it brings up AC/DC trackpack but when you hit confirm it says error

I bought my xbox Riffmaster today for use on my pc and charged it up fully, interestingly when inserting the dongle it immediately begins blinking rapidly (as opposed to the slow blink it’s supposed to do), and when pressing in the reset button it changes to a solid white light.

i haven’t been able to pair the guitar itself with the dongle at all and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

So I got back into playing on the keys in Rock Band 3. I was going through a very hard time this summer, so I got the keyboard controller and practiced to help get me through these difficult times.

I was thinking I wanted to buy a MIDI compatible keyboard once I get better at the keys. I have the Midi adapter. What are some suggestions on what I should get down the line? I am looking for something with a decent variety of sounds for under $200. I am looking for something with 4 or 5 octaves.

Hi, I recently found my old Beatles Wii guitar (with its dongle) and I was wondering if it is possible to connect it to my PS5 to play Fortnite Festival? I could really use some help as I’m not very tech savvy :)

This is kinda a mix of things but I wanna ask, do you know anywhere that sells different riffmaster faceplates like I want the Metallica one but that was an exclusive and no one I can find sells variants, and secondly, what faceplates would you like to see, personally I'd want a cannibal corpse or slipknot one though cannibal is unlikely.

Does anyone know if there is a good 3d printed replacement whammy bar file? I see several when I google but I'm not sure if they are universal and if they are reliable. I can remember that many years ago I saw a design for a Guitar Hero whammy bar assembly that had a reinforced tab that looked like it could handle more stress but I don't think that design exists any more.

Otherwise, if anyone has a design they like to use or if you know where I could find some aftermarket ones to purchase it would be appreciated. Thanks.
