We don’t have too many rules here. It’s mostly a place for employees to take about issues at their stores, for customers to post praise or gripes, and general talk about the company from the corporate level down.
We’re all adults here and understand that language may get occasionally salty. Just don’t let it get out of hand.
This sub is NOT for daytrader talk. Posts may reference recent stock performance or dividends but encouraging people to buy or sell shares or prognosticating on future performance is strictly prohibited. There’s another sub for that.

My boss wrote that on his calendar. I’m guessing there’s a regular conference call on Monday based off what other redditors have said but I haven’t seen anything on this for Tuesday the day after. Maybe they are finally cutting us off again? Because I truly don’t understand how this company has funds to pay all these vendors but not supply their own warehouse for probably cheaper products and better ROI.
Maybe they are picking and choosing which vendors they may prioritized maybe this is rite aid cutting off the vendors on their side instead of the other way around. Either way, just another nail in the coffin. So much money spent on Christmas crap, I think they want to sell as much of that as they can and throw in the towel after the new year.
Rite Aid to close Liverpool distribution center; move operations to Maryland.
Punch in the gut is going to be
Now what????
In my entire district only my store and one other is going to continue to get a truck.
What do we think about what's gonna happen and how many stores in everyone elses district are still gonna get a truck?
I doubt we're gonna get anything "more" per say. Just excess amounts of the exact same stuff we were already getting in. And I know that they said the truck changes aren't gonna affect store allotted hours- but that doesnt mean that 8 weeks from now, a week after christmas, they aren't gonna close stores for being "non-profitable" during the holiday season. So much for being transparent when its always "we can only say...." or "for now, this is whats gonna happen...sorry, can't say why"

I’m taking the PTU final next week… has anyone taken it recently? Was it hard? How did it go?
Since Rite Aid will not be transparent with us and we have to figure out everything on our own.. Do we honestly think the stores that are not receiving trucks for at least 8 weeks are not going to close?
No way do I want to get what ever garbage they find cleaning out our warehouse when they close it down
It’s hard to see how Rite Aid will survive the brutal retail pharmacy environment. Among the challenges it will have to navigate: Low generic prescription prices, which restrain revenues and gross profits from these prescriptions Slow growth in brand-name drug list prices Unfavorable margins on brand-name drugs Limited exposure to the dispensing of specialty drugs Reduced margins from participating in payers’ narrow retail pharmacy networks Margin pressure from the growth patient-paid prescriptions—via cash-pay pharmacies and discount card vendors Overcapacity of retail pharmacy locations in many regions and intense competition for consumers (as shown in the chart above) Growing competition from technology-enabled online pharmacies, including Amazon and numerous venture capital-backed startups So, hang in there, Rite Aid! But remember: The journey of a thousand miles sometimes ends very, very badly.
I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone from Liverpool. Your team has been amazing. I am heartbroken and so very sorry this is happening. On a side note, WHAT HAPPENED TO TRANSPARENCY??? I cannot believe I found out on reddit that they are closing.
Does anyone know how to access the now replaced Applause rewards? Supposedly it should be available to use anything remaining, but can't find anything on how to access it. Trying to plan a trip and was hoping there might be something there
I know they just put out the RISC thing but that is NOT an end all be all. That will NOT solve our problems or fix the crime and theft problems. Anyone with half a braincell knows that.
I saw a post earlier but can no longer find it about APs quitting. I didn't think much of it at the time, but we just found out via email that our best AP is quitting. What are we not hearing about thats causing everything? Found out via reddit and the news that our DC is closing. Found out via reddit and a resignation email that APs are quitting. WTF
WHAT IS GOING ON??
Started off as “ Are you guys closing? Now it’s “ When you guys closing? We went from making 100k weekly to barely cracking 40. I see former customers walk by don’t t even come in. Some stand and think should we even come inside. Some come in and say why did I even bother to come in here. Some Understand the situation but many are aggravated and basically begging to close down so some other business can come and better serve their community cause rite aid ain’t doing it.
Just a general question for nonunion stores: Is anyone planning on rolling 40+ PTO hours into 2025? With the uncertainty, just wondering how much associates are comfortable to roll.
This is getting a bit ridiculous now.
Just got an email about my region being paused on dc trucks for the next 8 weeks…wonderful. It says we’re going to receive seasonal, displays and store supplies only. Lmfao. What a joke. I’m sure our customers are going to love that.
I'm just curious. Who is responsible for doing the inventory prep for the store? My manager or the associates or both? I ask that because another associate and I are having to do most of the inventory prep, while the store manager sits around doing nothing for it. Also, is there any bonus or money incentive if inventory goes well? I haven't been with the company long, so that's why I'm asking these questions.
Physically clocked in for the first time in YEARS. Actually kind of gratifying to know I’m paid for every minute worked. Only okay with this since they put the work week to 40 instead of 45.
How many managers and demoted asm quit in your district. We had two stire teams that I know of bail.
Was just recently informed that American Greetings will not be servicing our stores until further notice 😡
They are out of bankruptcy but are things looking even worse?
My recent load was only 3 pallets and what’s really pathetic is that there were more Christmas products than regular merchandise. So what happened? They already ran out of people’s 401k funds, we literally only got a couple rounds of crap that wasn’t in stock for a while and now it’s back to damn near nothing at all again.
We have a conference call Monday morning for a "replenishment update". Anybody have an inside scoop for this?
I’m so tired of working there. Can I take LOA and work something else? Till I feel I wanna come back
Has only one else been laid off after the re alignment. Their excuse is there is not enough in payroll to have two assistants. Then why hire a second one during bankruptcy… seniority and dedication doesn’t mean anything to this company.
Any store giving out Halloween candy tomorrow night? My store has none majority was stolen. Now our seasonal aisle is all Halloween 😂😂😂
