Forward Madison fan here coming in peace. A friend and I will be in Richmond for the 5/7 game, and it’s our first time in Richmond and our first USL1 away day.

A few questions:

1. Is there a designated away section at City Stadium?
2. What are the best spots (food & drink) to hit up before/after the game?
3. Should we stay downtown or in a neighborhood closer to the stadium?

Any other general advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi there - anyone know if parking lot tailgating will be permitted this season? The Kickers website says "Parking lots will open one hour and 45 minutes prior to kickoff.  Tailgating is not permitted", so I'm assuming no... but just curious if this is still the case or leftover from last season. Thanks!

I imagine if you're here you know this already, but Saturday is the last regular season home game, so show on up to City Stadium! The team has finally caught the form we all thought they could, and a win Saturday will go a long way to ensuring that this won't be the last game at City Stadium this season.

Side benefit, Saturday could put the nail in the coffin for Madison, and wouldn't that just be a shame...
